The Guardian for this meeting was Storm Nordwind, standing in for the mysterious "Open: Guardian Requested", who seems to have a lot of slots at the moment - seven a week, one every day - so no wonder they're tired and skip a session occasionally. The comments are by Storm Nordwind, and if you don't like them then please step up to the plate yourself ... come on guys!
Vampires and garlic.
Storm Nordwind: Good evening Raffi, Pila
Pila Mulligan: greetings
Raffila Millgrove: Hi Storm, hello Pila.
Pila Mulligan: how are you, Raffi and Storm?
Raffila Millgrove: I'm good. i went to a dance where we were to be constumed as vampires and i am having some trouble getting the fangs off. (just a warning in case i suddnely open mouth and look frightening. lol)
Pila Mulligan: :)
Storm Nordwind: Well, I've been getting back my energy slowly after being a little under the weather. But good thank you Pila.
Pila Mulligan: well, wishing a thorough recovery then, Storm
Raffila Millgrove: tried to remove and suceed in taking off my hair instead. You and wife were both ill weren't you storm. you are feeling better?
Storm Nordwind: Thank so much. And been eating plenty of garlic ;-)
Pila Mulligan: :)
Storm Nordwind: Yes thanks Raffi. Must be firing on three cylinders now ;-)
Pila Mulligan: Pla's favorite sauce: blend garlic, lime juice and and olive oil
Pila Mulligan: yummy
Storm Nordwind: mmmmm
Wanting a curry.
Storm Nordwind: Which reminds me to make a Madras curry soon. (It has lime juice in it)
Pila Mulligan: you must be feeling better :)
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Pila Mulligan: wanting a curry soon
Storm Nordwind: Come round to my place, and you'll get the best curry in all of Colorado :)
Pila Mulligan: nice
Pila Mulligan: thanks
Raffila Millgrove: oh? you have recipes from your home .. in England?
Storm Nordwind: Well I have to, because the standard of US curry leaves a little to be desired. So I've had to learn to cook my own here.
Pila Mulligan: some neighbors here, retired from the incense business, spent time regularly in india and they make their own curry powder, that i'm fortunate to get to use too
Raffila Millgrove: yes. we have so few INdian restaurants around that are really good. i don' tknow why this is.. L.A. is so full of good ethnic dineries.
Storm Nordwind: In fact I have put some of them on the PaB Cafe mailing list :)
Raffila Millgrove: ah the spices. i read in INdia how each cook has her own special blend she often makes herself.
Storm Nordwind: There's plenty of Indian restaurants locally, but none are really very good.
Pila Mulligan: yes, same here Storm
Pila Mulligan: hi Luci
Storm Nordwind waves to Luci
Raffila Millgrove: yeah we have lots too and few are very nice. if they have the brick oven you can get good nann bread.. but.. after that things deteroriate fast.
Raffila Millgrove: hi Luci
Storm Nordwind nods
Lucinda Lavender: Waving to all:)
Pila Mulligan: hoping all is well wiht Luic, we're on the topic of curries, etc
Lucinda Lavender: love curries...and all is well:)
Pila Mulligan: :)
The best spices.
Storm Nordwind: Getting good spices is key. There's only one Desi deli in Denver, and I travel there to get the best spices.
Lucinda Lavender: eating my salad as we sit
Pila Mulligan: there is however an excellent thai restaurant nearby
Pila Mulligan: with excellent Thai curries
Raffila Millgrove: where are you Pila?
Pila Mulligan: Hawai`i
Raffila Millgrove: ah yes. sorry. i had that in the data bank. sorry.
Storm Nordwind: But I've had to cut back on my Mexican recipes, as the red chili is twice as strong from the Indian than anywhere else
Pila Mulligan: :)
Raffila Millgrove: we have good Thai also but the curries are so HOT.. i cannot take it.
Pila Mulligan: yes, yes
Pila Mulligan: Pila prefers mild
Pila Mulligan: they accommodate me, with a kind of grin
Storm Nordwind: You'd like my biryani then Pila.
Raffila Millgrove: in the good bangladesh place we used to have.. it was the flavor. the richness in the spices that we liked.. we weren't getting our mouths and butts burnt off the way the Thai places do around here.
Storm Nordwind: Bangladeshi restaurants can be the very best
Lucinda Lavender: Luci had a lovely italian pesto foccacia in NYC with a big mushroom in it:)
Lucinda Lavender: really yummy:)
Dedication.
Raffila Millgrove: oh we loved that place. we tried to go twice a month.. we feared taht there weren't enough adventurous eaters to support it and it evnetually did. go out of business. but we ate so wonderfully there for a few years. teh children still talk on how they loved it.
Lucinda Lavender: I learned also about ramps
Lucinda Lavender: a wild onion
--BELL--
Raffila Millgrove thinks is must sound strange that she refers to these grown up married people as "the children" but.. what else should she call them? pondering.
Storm Nordwind: Bangladeshi places became the mainstay of British cuisine after 1971. I patronize a Nepali restuarant here for the same reason as you did Raffi - to help stop it disappearing - even though it's a 120 mile round trip to eat there.
Pila Mulligan: :)
Raffila Millgrove: wow Strorm. that is dedication!
Pila Mulligan: truly
Raffila Millgrove: that's odd. i saw you claim the session .... when you got here.
Raffila Millgrove rubs her eyes.
Lucinda Lavender: Raffi...had just been pondering the adult children myself...amp sauce on faro
Lucinda Lavender: ramp sauce
Raffila Millgrove: yeah what do you call them? i guess maybe just say< the family. not so weird.
Lucinda Lavender: right
Storm Nordwind: We had dinner with my wife's two children last night. They're 41 and 45 years old. But they're still "the children".
Raffila Millgrove: yeah.. they are. maybe i just stick with it .. cause they are the children.
Lucinda Lavender: :))
Pila Mulligan: :)
Raffila Millgrove: cause the family.. that includes my 91 yr old mother in law. and she hates INdian food. lol
Lucinda Lavender: so nice to feel in ones element
Lucinda Lavender: just that others knowing what you mean is nice
Raffila Millgrove: i was so happy to have her here by me ... staying.. as she didnt' come to stay in house for nearly 15 yrs or more.. and i could feed her. and she just loved to eat my food. that made me so happy.
Lucinda Lavender: aw:)
Storm Nordwind: :))
Raffila Millgrove: she has very simple tastes, i knew jsut the things she would like.. to have ready for her.
Pila Mulligan: ahh, simple tofu and potatoes -- me too
Pila Mulligan: (as opposed to meat and potatoes)
Raffila Millgrove: she was so ill, she nearly didn't come. hospitalized for diahrea.. so.. to feed her safely.. so she had no trouble. this meant a lot to me.. and it was sucessful. fattened her up nicely.
Have you heard of yacon?
Pila Mulligan: have you heard of yacon?
Raffila Millgrove: no what is yacon?
Lucinda Lavender: what great support!
Pila Mulligan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yac%C3%B3n -- from the Andes, kind of between an apple and potato, quite helathy too
Raffila Millgrove: oh that sounds so tasty. i wonder where i could try one.
Pila Mulligan: they are recently becoming available here, very easy to grow too
Pila Mulligan: edibe raw or cooked in about any form
Raffila Millgrove: i wonder. if they are selling this under a different name?
Pila Mulligan: possibly
Raffila Millgrove: as i have lots of Asian market. and S American market around me.
Lucinda Lavender: helpful sounding
Raffila Millgrove: and i don't see this word before.
Storm Nordwind: I'll look out for them. I dare say I can think of borrowing a recipe from sweet potato masala to use on them ;)
Pila Mulligan: :)
Raffila Millgrove: ty for mentioning.
Storm Nordwind: yes indeed
Pila Mulligan: I got about 25 pounds of edible food from one plant
Raffila Millgrove: oh wow. amazing.
Raffila Millgrove: that's huge.
Pila Mulligan: :) really
Lucinda Lavender: I was going to say wow amazing too:)
Storm Nordwind just boggles
Pila Mulligan: well, maybe 15 :) but lots whatevers
Having no ground.
Raffila Millgrove: i wish i had some ground to plant it. i often wish that. but on hillside lot--we're nearly all in big pots. for plants.
Storm Nordwind: In a 5th floor condo, I can manage broccoli sprouts but that's about it!
Pila Mulligan: :)
Raffila Millgrove: and we have such a mess of oak trees .. we're being turned into darkness by this oak forest encroaching. we cannot keep up with the tree trims.
Pila Mulligan: tomatoes on a trellis?
Raffila Millgrove: i tried tomatoes in pots one year. and i got interesting crop.. but. i cannot recommend it.
Lucinda Lavender: lovely discussion but I have to go for now...
Pila Mulligan: too many bugs like tomatoes here
Raffila Millgrove: the grape tomatoes.. strangely were the ones who were happiest in the pots.
Pila Mulligan: ybe Luci, nice to see you
Storm Nordwind: Bye Cinda!
Raffila Millgrove: bye Luci.
Raffila Millgrove: have a great weekend.
Lucinda Lavender: thanks so much:)
Lucinda Lavender: great weekend to you all as well:)
Pila Mulligan: thanks
Pila Mulligan: yes, Raffi, definitely, smaller tomaotes seem to thrive in pots
--BELL--
Raffila Millgrove: well i had hopes with the cherry tomatoes. but.. they were not happy. it ended up grapes. heirloom ones.
Raffila Millgrove: oh dear. that fashionable lady walked away during the bell.
Raffila Millgrove sighs.
Hallucinating.
Raffila Millgrove: Storm why does that keep saying the session wasn't claimed. i was sure you claimed it?
Storm Nordwind: No I haven't. The slot does not currently have a regular guardian on the timetable
Raffila Millgrove: oh ok. i was imagining things agin.
Storm Nordwind: Again?! ;)
Storm Nordwind: The good old evening Pacific air carrying its load of hallucinogens? ;)
Pila Mulligan: :)
One of those hippy rules that works.
Raffila Millgrove: oh yes. i keep thinking things happen. or were said. that weren't . at least here. there is a real record i can look back and check.. sometimes i wish i had a Pab listener going 24/7 so i could check it.
Storm Nordwind: hehe!
Pila Mulligan: tolerate ambiguity
Raffila Millgrove: yes Pila. one must.. accept this.
Pila Mulligan: one of those hippy rules that works
Storm Nordwind: Indeed so!
Raffila Millgrove: i think maybe part of aging? wow i hate this aging thing so much.
Storm Nordwind: yeah body stuff... it comes on relentlessly
Pila Mulligan: but what is one to do? time passes
Storm Nordwind: Smile. And make the most, as ever. And help others to do the same. :)
Raffila Millgrove: myhsuband said. what he likes best about youth.. it Youth. and.. after we talk a bit on that. i realize exactly how right.. he is in that. They have the youth.. they cannot appreciate it.. at least we can listen and enjoy Their youth.. even if they are taking for granted.. we're getting a huge thrill of being close to it.

Pila Mulligan: would an age disclosure moment be appropriate? I'm 66
Storm Nordwind: 60 soon this year.
Storm Nordwind: But no pressure on Raffi!
Raffila Millgrove: i prefer not to disclose of course. but.. as you can guess. same as you both.
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: 60 is a pretty big number :)
Storm Nordwind: Pft!
Pila Mulligan: lol
Parties, good and bad.
Raffila Millgrove: i had my 60th birthday party her ein SL. and no one knew of course the real age.. but Wow. it was the best party of my whole life...
Pila Mulligan: nice
Storm Nordwind: Wonderful!
Pila Mulligan: yoga and stuff like that help, i my opinion
Storm Nordwind: yes
Raffila Millgrove: it's on Dec 20 and i had this amazing snow party. with snow guns and everything for snow party and inside scotch, cigars, grand piano. the thing went on for like four hours. it was spectacular. about 60 people came over that time.
Pila Mulligan: breathing :)
Pila Mulligan: cool
Storm Nordwind: Wow!
Pila Mulligan: 60 for 60 :)
Raffila Millgrove: it was the greatest birthday party i of my life.. i was just in heaven with so much excitement and people and Fun.
Raffila Millgrove: yes. appropriate.
Storm Nordwind: :))
Raffila Millgrove: somehow.. it made being 60 an ok thing.
Raffila Millgrove: i would rather die than attempt a party like that for my rl friends. ooh ghastly.
Raffila Millgrove: as they totter in and have to sit down immediately before they fall over etc. lol
Storm Nordwind laughs
Pila Mulligan: SL wonders never cease
Storm Nordwind: Could be worse. You could go to an RL restaurant and all the wait staff could come round and sing you Happy Birthday
Pila Mulligan: really, what a scene
Pila Mulligan: they enjoy it too
Raffila Millgrove: haha. one of my husbands. Every time we went out to eat.. it was someone's birthday. we about die laughing. as it happen constanly to us.
Raffila Millgrove: we never eat without some other table having a big bithday go on. was a running joke. as we look around and wonder. who will it be tonite?
Pila Mulligan: hi Steve
Raffila Millgrove: hi Steve.
Storm Nordwind: Hi Steve!
stevenaia Michinaga: hi PIla. Raffila, Storm
boxy has alts.
Raffila Millgrove: so nice visiting with you both. have to run along. Have a great weekend all...
Pila Mulligan: bye Raffi, nice chatting with you
Storm Nordwind: Great to see you Raffi :)
stevenaia Michinaga: bye Raffi
Raffila Millgrove: you too Pila . i am sorry i keep forgetting you are based in hawaii. at least i have overcome the idea that you are one of boxy's alts.
Raffila Millgrove: i got that straight finally.
--BELL--
Pila Mulligan: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: boxy has alts?
Pila Mulligan: Steve seems ot be the victm of a giant white trantula
Storm Nordwind barely suppresses a laugh about Pila being a boxy alt
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: nyet
Storm Nordwind tries poking Pila's nose, but nothing happens
stevenaia Michinaga: grins
Pila Mulligan: lol
Pila Mulligan: well, Steve, we went thru curries and aging before you arrived
Pila Mulligan: food and geezers
stevenaia Michinaga: glad I missed the aging part
Pila Mulligan: :)
World Tai Chi day.
stevenaia Michinaga: World Tai Chi day tomorrow, if you don;t mind the commerciallization of the ancient parctice
Storm Nordwind: It is? Good. maybe I should take the opportunity to look for a good local teacher
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s more for awareness, one nice thing is that around the world at 10:00 there are public tai chi practice going on if you look
stevenaia Michinaga: we are having one in a public rose garden tomorrow
stevenaia Michinaga: create a wave a chi worldwide
Old school.
Storm Nordwind: Oh it seems my old school has two instructors in Hawaii, but none in Colorado.
Pila Mulligan: cool (just got back frmthe kitchen with a bowl of boroccoli)
stevenaia Michinaga: don;t type with your mouth full, Pila
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Pila Mulligan: :) yespp
Pila Mulligan: what school Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Longfei
Pila Mulligan: ahh
Storm Nordwind: http://www.longfei-taiji.co.uk/
Pila Mulligan: there are tons of schools here
Pila Mulligan: must be the proximity to Asia
stevenaia Michinaga: nice
Pila Mulligan: is it a mix of Sun and Yang, just skiming the website
stevenaia Michinaga: San gave me a Tai Chi pose ball for my plot, I think you may have given her one Pila
Storm Nordwind: I'm not an expert and classifying. They do various styles. When I left my instructor was just starting sword form.
Pila Mulligan: nice
Pila Mulligan: hi Ewan
stevenaia Michinaga: some fan form practicing by students and periodic sword form demo from my teacher
stevenaia Michinaga: hi Ewan
Pila Mulligan: ... looks like the GB founder came from predominantly yang style teachers, reading the history
Storm Nordwind nods
Storm Nordwind: Yang style was the predominant one in England. Beijing style was popular. There also a few family styles that went in waves.
Poise.
Pila Mulligan: tai chi sure has eased my aging rigors
--BELL--
Storm Nordwind: The poise it brought when I first started certainly helped me down the road to equanimity. :)
Pila Mulligan: yes, and the ability to breathe througg muscle tension
Pila Mulligan: that aspect of aging is really difficukt by itself
stevenaia Michinaga: I have noticed a more keen awarness as thngs change, joints get more sensitive, and the ability to work on those thingd
The fire of breath.
Pila Mulligan: most everything in physical sensitivity seems to relate back to breathing
Pila Mulligan: the posture and movements are the ingredients, but they cook on the fire of breath, so to speak
Storm Nordwind: EVERYTHING cooks on the fire of breath! :)
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: so keep the embers glowing :)
Storm Nordwind beams
Pila Mulligan: a bowl of broccoli is better thn pocorn to me :) (rubbing his tummy)
Tao study group.
Pila Mulligan: how is your rl tao study group Steve?
stevenaia Michinaga: nice and slow, an hour a month
Pila Mulligan: still working through the chapters?
stevenaia Michinaga: althugh someone in our group will be doing a short presentation tomorrow
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, like here, each brings their own insights and knowledge
Pila Mulligan: what is the subject tomorrow?
stevenaia Michinaga: nice to share and learn
Pila Mulligan: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: it was last week
stevenaia Michinaga: Chapter 16
Pila Mulligan: one of thos etime waprs, tomorrow was last week? :)
stevenaia Michinaga: we read through 4 or 5 translations and some commentaries
stevenaia Michinaga: there's an online "course" of sorts that some are taking, am considering it
--BELL--
Pila Mulligan: like most good insprations, the beauty of the tao is in the eyeys of the beholder
stevenaia Michinaga: http://is.gd/NC5Ac6 if you are interested
Pila Mulligan: thanks ... reading
Certified - all natural, guaranteed.
stevenaia Michinaga: there was a nice talk "Taoist Philosophy and Taichi Practice" locally in the philly area, unfortunately it was 90 minutes each way... a bit to far for a sunday
stevenaia Michinaga: "Taoist Philosophy and Taichi Practice"
Pila Mulligan: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: by a prof at Temple Univ.
Pila Mulligan: the world is shrinking
stevenaia Michinaga: Professor in the fields of Asian Philosophy, Comparative Ethics, Meditative & Healing Rituals in the World Religions Certified Taoist Priest with Monastic Trainings on Insight Meditation , Healings & Channeling Certified Instructor: Tai-Chi, Feng-Shui Yoga, Qi-Qong Author: The Tao of Jesus
Pila Mulligan: certified taoist priest has a kind of irony to it
stevenaia Michinaga: I was wondering about that,
Pila Mulligan: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: what does the certifying
Pila Mulligan: all natural, guaranteed
Pila Mulligan: :)
Claiming the genuine insight.
stevenaia Michinaga: nice there are local resources available
Pila Mulligan: here, with the geothermal issue dividing the community, it is interesting to see people verbalizing their views on Pele
Pila Mulligan: what a broad mix of thoughts
stevenaia Michinaga: lol
Pila Mulligan: naturally each side is claiming the genuine insight
Pila Mulligan: self-affirming
stevenaia Michinaga: I need to rest, have to unload a truckload of mulch in the morning before Tai CHi event :)
Pila Mulligan: ahh, what a nice thing to unload
Pila Mulligan: have a nice sleep
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, night Pila, Storm
Storm Nordwind waves
Pila Mulligan: up up and away
Pila Mulligan: Steve's exit was spectacular :)
Storm Nordwind: Yes. Characteristic Steve
Storm Nordwind: A signature.
Local Tai Chi classes.
Storm Nordwind: While you've been nattering, I've trawled through all the Tai Chi places locally (and there are a few) and am horrified by the quality of most. But did find one worth following up on at least.
Pila Mulligan: cool
Pila Mulligan: is it close?
Storm Nordwind: It's successful enough to have a bunch of branch locations, some of which are close.
Pila Mulligan: solo practice has been my primary venue, it is always an option too
--BELL--
Storm Nordwind: Sure. But I do need an instructor again.
Pila Mulligan: ahh
Pila Mulligan: somone to watch, it helps
Storm Nordwind: Someone with white gloves! ;-)
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: do oyu want to pursue sword now?
Storm Nordwind: Not immediately. Perhaps later. We'll see.
Being a natural.
Pila Mulligan: the best ta chi sword I ever saw was the teenage son of a freind, a natural, now with Cirque du Soleil
Storm Nordwind: Oh wow
Pila Mulligan: realy :)
Pila Mulligan: he had it all as a gift
Storm Nordwind: I'd like to learn again from someone who at least made it seem achievable for me!
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: I have to work at it too
Pila Mulligan: not very natural :)
Pila Mulligan: this fellow was doing yoga asanas at age 2
Pila Mulligan: spontaneously
Storm Nordwind: Hmmm...
Pila Mulligan: yep, hmmmm :)
Storm Nordwind: One can wish that his happiness matches his agility. :)
Pila Mulligan: isn;t that the truth
Being a tulku*
* Strictly: A high ranking lama who habitually chooses their next rebirth. Loosely: Any reincarnated master.
Pila Mulligan: his is a kind of melancholoy grace, I can;t help but think in terms of a tulku
Pila Mulligan: a wise old kid
Storm Nordwind: Of course. Though there are many hidden tulkus. At least in my experience. :)
Pila Mulligan: I rememebr standing at an airport beside him, about age 11, when he lifted his leg and put it behind his neck to relax, without his hands
Storm Nordwind: As you do.
Storm Nordwind: :-/
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: yes child prodigies in all fields
Pila Mulligan: I have not met many, but they are writtena bout often
Storm Nordwind: Perhaps you have met more than you think. Not all are prodigies. Some are living very ordinary lives in seemingly ordinary ways.
Pila Mulligan: :)
Storm Nordwind: And yet, there is something about them. They may be making a profound difference to those around them. Or they may be in some stage of preparation. It's interesting to see, if you can see.
Fanciful appellations.
Pila Mulligan: and there are schools of thought saying these lights will help solve the world's present abundance of ills
Pila Mulligan: they have a name for children in that category
Pila Mulligan: can;t rememebr it
Storm Nordwind: Which of the several do you mean. I've heard a few. Don't really believe what I've read. Often quite fanciful. But I do know what I see, and what I see doesn't need labels.
Pila Mulligan: :) yes, I was thnking of a fancicul onoe
Pila Mulligan: ubt I see the simple aspcet too
Storm Nordwind: Often have new age tags. (newage rhyming with sewage, said a friend of mine once) Like Indigo and Golden to name but two
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: yep, Indigo was the one I was trying to rmemeber
Pila Mulligan: we live in interesting times
Pila Mulligan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo_children
--BELL--
Storm Nordwind will save the link for later, but thank you. ;)
Pila Mulligan: :)
The Swing of Spring.
Pila Mulligan: is Spring in full swing there yet, Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Certainly is. Summer temperatures mixed with thunder and tornadoes. And hopefully a little rain
Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: we are still in wintry (rainy) weather
Storm Nordwind: Lilacs already on the way out here
Pila Mulligan: nice
Pila Mulligan: I;m looking forward to it
Storm Nordwind: Nicer when they're on the way in!
Pila Mulligan: yes
Pila Mulligan: gardenias have begun to blossom here, they are righteously fragrant
Storm Nordwind: our winters no longer bring rain. We can have 6 months with no rain, only snow. We're relying on the Spring to bring us summer drinking water.
Pila Mulligan: ahh
Pila Mulligan: isn;t snow melt part of that equation too?
Storm Nordwind: Yes. But it's 1/4 down this year
Pila Mulligan: hmm
Pila Mulligan: water, looming everywhere
Storm Nordwind: But overall, I prefer the climate to where I last lived! :)
Pila Mulligan: :)
Storm Nordwind: Not that it disturbs equanimity of course! ;)
Mountain light.
Pila Mulligan: what part of the place do you like the best, environmentally?
Pila Mulligan: obviously your wife, but next ?
Storm Nordwind: Here? The light I think.
Pila Mulligan: ahh, nice
Pila Mulligan: mountian light
Storm Nordwind: yes
Pila Mulligan: me too
Storm Nordwind: 115 cloudless sunny days a year. 300 sunny days. Light is good.
Pila Mulligan: it is, and so are its subtleties
Storm Nordwind: Indeed.
Storm Nordwind: Where I last lived - Glasgow in Scotland - the roads were wet 40% of the time on average.
Pila Mulligan: and cloudy
Storm Nordwind: Or so the local motoring organizations told us
Pila Mulligan: we get lots of rain here, but some of i is this very soft rain with light int he sky, a wonderful thiing
Storm Nordwind: Cloudy is fine. 500ft cloud base and 18 hour winter nights can trigger SAD in many people
Pila Mulligan: yep
Pila Mulligan: I like it actually
Pila Mulligan: rain and clouds
Storm Nordwind: Yes. The different lights are wonderful.
Storm Nordwind: To walk in an English wood with leaves gently dripping, with dappled sunlight. ... :)
Pila Mulligan: :) speaking whereof ... think I'll take a walk
Pila Mulligan: light is ebbing
Storm Nordwind: Very wise.
Pila Mulligan: 6:12 pm here
Pila Mulligan: nice visitng with you,as alwyas
Storm Nordwind: 10:13pm here
Storm Nordwind: Great to talk with you!
Pila Mulligan: ahh, late
Pila Mulligan: aloha, Storm
Storm Nordwind waves
