The Guardian for this meeting was Wester Kiranov. The comments are by Wester Kiranov.

I sat with Santoshima Resident and Raffila Millgrove. We first sat quietly, then tried to talk about stillness for a moment, then fell into talk about late-night tv.

    Wester Kiranov: hi san
    Santoshima Resident: hi wester
    Santoshima Resident: how are you?
Santoshima Resident: i was getting ready to turn in and saw you here ~ thought to come say hello
Wester Kiranov: I'm doing fine. Recovering well.
    Wester Kiranov: How are you?
Santoshima Resident: as I've seen you taking care of the quiet sunday evenings for a while
Santoshima Resident: i am sorry, i didn't know that you were unwell
Santoshima Resident: i am no very up to date with any of the postings
Santoshima Resident: i'm glad that you are feeling better
Wester Kiranov: I've had a menignitis. spent most of March in hospital. but i am quite well again, just easily tired
Santoshima Resident: oh ... i'm very sorry
Santoshima Resident: so glad that you are on the mend
Wester Kiranov: so am I :)
    Santoshima Resident: :)
Santoshima Resident: do you mind if i sit with you for a while?
Wester Kiranov: of course i don't mind
Wester Kiranov: talk if you want to, or be quiet if you like that
    Santoshima Resident: ok, ty
    --BELL--
Raffila Millgrove: Hello Wester and San
    Wester Kiranov: hi raffi
    Santoshima Resident: hello Raffila
Raffila Millgrove: are you two contemplating stillness? Raffi smiles.
    Raffila Millgrove: (this week's theme)
    Santoshima Resident: ah ha, thanks
Wester Kiranov: no, we were just being still :-)
    Santoshima Resident: :)
Raffila Millgrove: sometimes the birds here.. at the pavilion.. mix up with birds outside my window.. and i am not sure which is which.
Wester Kiranov: it's a nice theme though
Santoshima Resident: yes, i've had that experience, too
Raffila Millgrove: it is a nice theme but i wonder if we can ... say things .. all week on it.
Santoshima Resident: maybe we'll just all .... sit quietly
Raffila Millgrove: hard to guess which themes might be very meaty and last a week and which might not...
    Raffila Millgrove: ok.
    Santoshima Resident: all week
Santoshima Resident: that wouldn't be so bad
Raffila Millgrove: no it would be ok with me.
Wester Kiranov: maybe it's nice to have a theme that's light instead of meaty. transparent.
Raffila Millgrove: but i will get antsy and start mutlitasking. that's why i like the nine second ... exercise.. i dont' mind silence and sitting quiet.. but I have to be.. kind of in the mood for it.
    Santoshima Resident: understood ...
Raffila Millgrove: do you have infomercials overseas?
Wester Kiranov: yeah, we do. why?
Raffila Millgrove: i just wondered. sometimes on Sat night. i lie in bed 3 amish.. too tired to do anything but not sleepy and watch them.. they have some at that hour i find fascinating. people are losing their bellies and they show a lot of photos. these bellies .. are so fascinating to me.
Santoshima Resident: losing where? what? huh? what kind of bellies ...
Raffila Millgrove: the people in the "before" photo. they aren't fat. their legs, arms, their rears,, not that heavy.. but they have these strange bellies. hanging over their pants.. looking bizarre. then they wear a belt.. with some special cream.. oila. a month later it shrank. I dunno where they found so many people.. to be in this commerical. must be 12? amazing.
Wester Kiranov: i think i saw someoone show how you can make a before/after photo on the internet. No photoshop, just having the right kind of food to get nicely bloated for the before photo
Santoshima Resident: or lie on the floor for an instant facelift
Raffila Millgrove: not really .. they aren't bloated.. at all.. they are strange.. falling over the belt.. not taunt. it fascinates me.
Wester Kiranov: and posture can make a big difference too
Santoshima Resident: and foam rubber, perhaps, a little theatre makeup ...
    --BELL--
Raffila Millgrove: well even if this belt... isn't any good for losing the fat.. when they put it on (it extends from the rear end up the entire torso to just under the breast.. it's all elastic like elastic bandange.. well it sure makes these people look good. kinda like when my grandma wore her corset. when they put on a slim fitting garment.. alll the rolls and bulges are gone. I think the belt is probably worth the money for that.. just to keep it all tucked in nicely.
Wester Kiranov: don't you think being fat is a health problem in the first place, not Don't you think fat is a health problem in the first place? I think appearance is very secondary
Wester Kiranov: (something went wrong there ;-)
Raffila Millgrove: i do agree Wester except that these people in the pictures. they weren't really fat.. they had strange excess rolls of fat.
Raffila Millgrove: like after you have a baby. you know that .. tummy?
    Raffila Millgrove: that one.
Wester Kiranov: i would have to see a picture to know what you really mean. but i think i got the basic idea
Santoshima Resident: so the question is: based on the description ... would you buy one?
Raffila Millgrove: yeah like one lady in her 60's. she looks fine in neck. arms. face.. she is basically a very trim person.. and she says..after 3 children she couldn't get her stomach back and tehre she is.. with it falling all over her jeans waist.. and she wears this belt.. and she's all better in a 30 days.
Wester Kiranov: btw, I can't stay the full hour today. I have a RL appointment, so I will have to leave in 5-10 minutes
Raffila Millgrove: hehe Wester. i should shut on this as this really is wasting your time. lol
Raffila Millgrove: yes actually this thing is so interesting to me.. i am thinkinga bout buying it.
Raffila Millgrove: cause i am very trim person and all of a sudden. this weird little fat is falling over my jeans and making me look/feel strange.
Wester Kiranov: maybe you should find a way to fall asleep at 3 am instead ;)
    Raffila Millgrove: so true.
Santoshima Resident: my cat has a paunch like you're describing
Raffila Millgrove: yeah.. and i have been doing exercises to tighten it and it's not working. i lost weight even and it looks worse than ever.
Santoshima Resident: it's healthy, i suspect
Wester Kiranov: i think people differ in how and where they store fat
    Santoshima Resident: very true
    Raffila Millgrove nods.
Raffila Millgrove: well i go away since i seem to be full of oddness today. have a good week ladies. hugs.
Raffila Millgrove waves cheerfully and takes away her strange little tummy..
Wester Kiranov: and i think losing weight and losing fat do not have to be the same thing - unfortunately
Santoshima Resident: hugs to you, Raffi ~ nice talking with you
    Raffila Millgrove: hugs hugs xoxo
Wester Kiranov: bye raffi. see yoi
Wester Kiranov: I'm afraid I have to leave too. I have to catch a bus
Santoshima Resident: take good care, Wester ~ bye :)
Wester Kiranov: bye san. nice sitting with you
