Hana Furlough: ordinary magic sounds pretty fascinating, though
Eos Amaterasu: such words are in the transportation business, not so much about themselves but about taking you somewhere

Korel Laloix: It is interesting, I find most white people really don't beleive in magic..... but I grew up in a culture that very much realizes it.

Korel Laloix: My aunt are meidicin women and I grew up with our idea of how the other world pears into this one.
Korel Laloix: I really don'tknow much about Voodoo.. but that seems more dark focused.
Hana Furlough: can you tell us how?
Korel Laloix: Well, something we have discussed in here before... In the Tsalagi tradition,we have four souls.
Korel Laloix: And when we pass physically, our spirit takes four differnt paths on its way out.
Korel Laloix: And each of those effects us here differently.
Korel Laloix: And certian plants and animals actually have spiritual significance.
Alfred Kelberry: i think this magic comes from close connection to nature and usage of herbals, that was alien to many whites
Korel Laloix: And cerimonies are not just actions, but those things have been done for generations and have been tuned to bring other powers inot our world.

Eos Amaterasu: nowadays there's a huge intersection of cathoicism and plant spirit medicine and other shamanic traditions in South America

Korel Laloix: I agree.. I think the word supernatural makes some assumptions that are not really correct.
Aphrodite Macbain: yes. anything is "magical" if it is a phenomenon qwe don't understand yet

Korel Laloix: I think magic is natural.
Aphrodite Macbain: Magic, to me, is an unexplainable phenomenon.

Korel Laloix: But if you saw something you could not explain..... would you conclude it was magic or technology?
