    Aphrodite Macbain: Oh? with Storm?
stevenaia Michinaga: we were moving a few thing around fr appropriate placement
Aphrodite Macbain: Is it looking good? I'm stillstruggling with mine
stevenaia Michinaga: I so understand, I am not an SL builder, enlisted help
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes. me too. Bur I hate bothering Storm and Bleu all the time. They are so patient!
    --BELL--
Aphrodite Macbain: Speak of the devil
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Bleu
    Aphrodite Macbain: waves
Aphrodite Macbain: How was your event?
stevenaia Michinaga: hehe I was asking it bit too much so I scaled the project back just a bit
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Bleu
Aphrodite Macbain: I've been doing that too. Bt jst as I think I've got it all working together, it all falls apart
    Bleu Oleander: oh no
    Aphrodite Macbain: But just
Aphrodite Macbain: I now have Munch's screa, on each of the blocks Bleu!
    Bleu Oleander: ok now?
    Aphrodite Macbain: scream
    Aphrodite Macbain: no.
    Bleu Oleander: oh my
Aphrodite Macbain: As soon as I wanted the thing to teeter, it fell on its side!
    Bleu Oleander: oh no
Aphrodite Macbain: so I feel like that guy on the bridge right now
Bleu Oleander: how's yours coming steve?
Aphrodite Macbain: and I'll be away for 3 days...

Aphrodite Macbain: ah,. For me the card came firt
    Aphrodite Macbain: first- a quote
stevenaia Michinaga: I'm sure it's here somewhere... in head, just not typed out in a sensible way
Aphrodite Macbain: about the workld falling apart - wb yeats
Aphrodite Macbain: what is yours about stevenaia?
    stevenaia Michinaga: aspects of motion
    Aphrodite Macbain: aspects?
    stevenaia Michinaga: nothing moves
stevenaia Michinaga: so it;s about motion
    Aphrodite Macbain: is that motion?
stevenaia Michinaga: if yiu think it moves it is
    Aphrodite Macbain: no motion
stevenaia Michinaga: the pattern on the outside moves when you don;t
Aphrodite Macbain: cool - sound abit like Einstein's theory of relativity
stevenaia Michinaga: the inside is a picture of me in motion
Aphrodite Macbain: and outside a still exterior?
stevenaia Michinaga: (since the idea of the movie playing inside was a bit to taxing
    Aphrodite Macbain: technically taxing?
stevenaia Michinaga: the picture of me is inside the box as viewed from an open end, like a movie screen
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, the making of the movie, the scripting of it playing inside the box
Aphrodite Macbain: what are you doing?
    Aphrodite Macbain: inside
stevenaia Michinaga: I;m sitting in the NDR car
    Aphrodite Macbain: grins
stevenaia Michinaga: the movie was to be of the train ride
Aphrodite Macbain: I guess this is the result of yor sallying forth in your imagination...
    Aphrodite Macbain: your
stevenaia Michinaga: sigh, it;s all I could do, nods, but I put an extra bench in the "theater" so anyone can sit inside
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: nice
stevenaia Michinaga: yo said yours has "The Scream" in it?
    stevenaia Michinaga: *you
    Aphrodite Macbain: Yes
    stevenaia Michinaga: emotional motin
    stevenaia Michinaga: motion
    stevenaia Michinaga: nice
Aphrodite Macbain: I have the idea of trying to be stable and balanced in a univese that is falling apart.
Aphrodite Macbain: "the cente does not hold"
    stevenaia Michinaga: hold down?
    Aphrodite Macbain: Yeats
    stevenaia Michinaga: oh
    stevenaia Michinaga: poetry...smiles
    Aphrodite Macbain: centre
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold
Aphrodite Macbain: called THE SECOND COMING
stevenaia Michinaga: so is it a box or hollow?
Aphrodite Macbain: iT'S A TEETER TOTTER
    Aphrodite Macbain: sorry
    stevenaia Michinaga: what falls apart?
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww
    Aphrodite Macbain: nothing yet
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm trying to kep it together
Bleu Oleander: steve that looks great
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
    stevenaia Michinaga: thanks
Aphrodite Macbain: sdid you sit inside?
    stevenaia Michinaga: love yours
stevenaia Michinaga: it moves when you move
Aphrodite Macbain: not a script in it!!
Bleu Oleander: oh yes very simple
    --BELL--
Aphrodite Macbain: What made youthink of this Bleuuu? Were you up the imaginative stairs and sallying out the door? What gave you the motivation to do this?
stevenaia Michinaga: the one's with motion inside is magical
    Bleu Oleander: the Rothko one?
    Aphrodite Macbain: There are two?
Bleu Oleander: yes, I did two
Aphrodite Macbain: Oh- haven't seen the second
    stevenaia Michinaga: not sure
Aphrodite Macbain: You just keep creating Bleu!
    Bleu Oleander: haha!
stevenaia Michinaga: assumes your first one was jsut a magical patter
    stevenaia Michinaga: pattern
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: and I just keep trying to balance on my teeter totter
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Bleu Oleander: I'm working on two videos atm
    Aphrodite Macbain: OMG
Bleu Oleander: for the UWA contest
Aphrodite Macbain: can you give me a list of the vitamins you take?
Bleu Oleander: turning out nice I think
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Luci
    stevenaia Michinaga: UWA?
    Bleu Oleander: no vitamins!
    Aphrodite Macbain: !!
Bleu Oleander: University of Western Austrailia
Aphrodite Macbain: they have great competitions
    Bleu Oleander: hi Luci
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Luci
Bleu Oleander: I entered the one last year
    Bleu Oleander: very fun!
Lucinda Lavender: Hi Luci whispers so as not to interrupt
Aphrodite Macbain: Are youuu making a piece for the show Luci?
Lucinda Lavender: it has not really been started...
Lucinda Lavender: I had a thought tho...somethink like a moving sword
Aphrodite Macbain: Oh great. Now I dont feel so pressured Luci
    stevenaia Michinaga: hehe
Bleu Oleander: still plenty of time
    Aphrodite Macbain: a moving sword?
Lucinda Lavender: this week is the last one for school
    Aphrodite Macbain: OMG!
Lucinda Lavender: I was picturing how swords move...
Aphrodite Macbain: up down froont to back, swirling
Bleu Oleander: what was your inspiration for that Luci?
Lucinda Lavender: and how if one focusses on the handle or the blades tip etc
    Lucinda Lavender: well..actually the tarot
Aphrodite Macbain: interesting. You should come and watch some fencing Luci -
    Lucinda Lavender: swords being thought
Lucinda Lavender: I did fencing in high school
    Aphrodite Macbain: sharp thoughts
    Bleu Oleander: ah interesting
Aphrodite Macbain: There is fencing where I live in Melioria
    Aphrodite Macbain: (SL)
Lucinda Lavender: I guess it was just that in thinking we seem to have places we are coming from
    Aphrodite Macbain: nods
Aphrodite Macbain: and directions we are going to
Lucinda Lavender: so in my mind I was picturing how there is distance between the handle and the tip
Lucinda Lavender: our grasp and where we touch others
Lucinda Lavender: just a spur of the moment thought
Aphrodite Macbain: nods. There are some great fencing animations available
Lucinda Lavender: really...had not heard of fencing in 2L
Lucinda Lavender: I am not into the violence part of course
Aphrodite Macbain: Fencing can be agame of the mind, calculating, analysing.
Lucinda Lavender: just the tool being one that is mental in the tarot deck
Bleu Oleander: pls excuse me ... going back to work on my video
Aphrodite Macbain: Fencing is an art, a sort of dance
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, I have have th same issues w/ Tai Chi, love the movement... the the teacher tells me you can break someone wiith it
    Lucinda Lavender: bye Bleu
    Bleu Oleander: bfn :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks for coming Bleu
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye bleu
Aphrodite Macbain: I certainly cant Steve!
Lucinda Lavender: hope to see if I can work on it later this week
Lucinda Lavender: yes steve.. something to process there
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: the fan for is even more deadly.. yet so greacful and eminine
    stevenaia Michinaga: fem
Lucinda Lavender: have not seen the fan
    stevenaia Michinaga: fan form
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Evenin'.
Aphrodite Macbain: (just talking to Storm brb)
    Lucinda Lavender: Hello
    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Milhail
Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Milhail. Have you been here before?
    Lucinda Lavender: welcome
    stevenaia Michinaga: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dID-dQpaLbc
roguepsychonaut Resident: Yes and no. This place is pretty interesting.
    roguepsychonaut Resident: How's everyone tonight?
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm well but getting hngry
stevenaia Michinaga: good, sorry watching video
Lucinda Lavender: I am full of hamburgers...and well
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
roguepsychonaut Resident: Hah. Memorial Day barbecue, I'm guessing.
    Lucinda Lavender: great video Steve
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: now picture the fan with pointed tips and sharp edges
    stevenaia Michinaga: as they were
Aphrodite Macbain: Bye everyone. Take care
Lucinda Lavender: a good hamburger yesterday led to a repeat today
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye Aph, night
    Lucinda Lavender: bye aph
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Cheers.
Lucinda Lavender: the sound of the fan is interesting...
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I suppose anything can be a weapon
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Mini
    Minipet Erlanger: HELLO
    Lucinda Lavender: welcome
roguepsychonaut Resident: It's got very little to do with martial arts, but the music reminded me of some Tuvan throat singing I enjoy
stevenaia Michinaga: have you been here before Mini?
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Enjoy this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbSczKB03Ts
    Minipet Erlanger: not here before
Lucinda Lavender: we have a wiki where the sessions are recorded
stevenaia Michinaga: we record our text and pot them to the groups wili page
    stevenaia Michinaga: oops
    stevenaia Michinaga: *put
stevenaia Michinaga: do you mind being included?
    Minipet Erlanger: np
stevenaia Michinaga: I gave you a notecard with the groups info
Lucinda Lavender: was there a topic this evening Stevenaia?
stevenaia Michinaga: we come here 4 times a day to explore the nature of reality
Lucinda Lavender: I came here late:)
    Lucinda Lavender: nicely put Steve
stevenaia Michinaga: no, I arrived late and we were taing about sculpture
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    stevenaia Michinaga: *talking
Lucinda Lavender: I like the throat singing...sounds very beyond human
    Lucinda Lavender: meditative
Minipet Erlanger: Interesting, even Hitler liked "nice" sculpture
stevenaia Michinaga: FY, there is an "Art Dome" (just take the train from the station over there) that the goup is installing scultptures representing" In Motion" in
roguepsychonaut Resident: I like it because it's *so* human. It goes to show what strange lengths our bodies and cultures can go to.
roguepsychonaut Resident: Well, not strange. But different, to say the least. You get my meaning.
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: the art dome will show sculptures about motion...they are there already some of them
Lucinda Lavender: I was thinking about making something that shows a graceful motion
Lucinda Lavender: like a wand for music or a sword
    Minipet Erlanger: Hurricane?
Minipet Erlanger: its high-speed graceful motion
Lucinda Lavender: yes a strong motion
Minipet Erlanger: if filmed and slowed down it is very graceful
roguepsychonaut Resident: A pendulum is rather graceful.
stevenaia Michinaga: then you ahve to "make" a hurricane in a 4x4 cube... and script it
    Lucinda Lavender: yikes
Lucinda Lavender: not sure I am ready for that
Minipet Erlanger: scirpting good am i not
    Lucinda Lavender: scripting etc
stevenaia Michinaga: the jous of SL, I can build mine in RL but had major issues in SL
    stevenaia Michinaga: *joys
    Lucinda Lavender: smiles
roguepsychonaut Resident: I know the feeling. Six years in this little place and I haven't so much as rezzed a cube that says 'Hello Avatar!"
    --BELL--
Minipet Erlanger: even a nuclear explosion in slow motion is graceful
    Minipet Erlanger: ok, silent
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I have not made anything speak ...
roguepsychonaut Resident: Ooh, that makes me wish I still had my old chatbot.
roguepsychonaut Resident: And that if I had it, it would still work.
Lucinda Lavender: what is a chatbot?
    Minipet Erlanger: not German
    Minipet Erlanger: hehe
roguepsychonaut Resident: It's a little device, usually a scripted object, that absorbs snippets of spatial chat and learns the basics of communication.
roguepsychonaut Resident: You can have covnersations with it, and it uses a vocabulary that consists of what it's heard.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: interesting
stevenaia Michinaga: I know people like that
    Minipet Erlanger: fantastik
roguepsychonaut Resident: I had this little one called a NIALL2. I don't know where it came from.
roguepsychonaut Resident: I was given a copy by a Russian mercenary, when I was doing a stint with a group of German soldiers for hire.
roguepsychonaut Resident: They were teaching it the Communist Manifesto.
    Minipet Erlanger: hehe
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds like an intereting crowd
roguepsychonaut Resident: They weren't bad guys. Just a little delusional.
roguepsychonaut Resident: I taught my copy some works by Lovecraft and Asimov.
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Named him CHauncy.
stevenaia Michinaga: unfortunately I must be off, thanks for joining us and feel free to retuen
    Lucinda Lavender: nice name:)
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Cheers.
    Lucinda Lavender: cheers steve
Minipet Erlanger: communism = equally rich potitburo, equally poor politariat
    Minipet Erlanger: politburo*
Minipet Erlanger: ooops, we lost one?
    Lucinda Lavender: guess so:)
    Minipet Erlanger: crash or bye-byes
    Minipet Erlanger: ?
roguepsychonaut Resident: He seems to have left.
    Minipet Erlanger: (tears)
    Lucinda Lavender: not sure
Lucinda Lavender: do either of you have favorite places in 2L?
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Oh, absolutely.
roguepsychonaut Resident: My favorite sim has to be a place called Svarga.
Lucinda Lavender: I am not an explorer but love to hear about places:)
Minipet Erlanger: I favor discussion sims and dance sims
roguepsychonaut Resident: There are prettier sims, and more interesting sims- but Svarga holds some special significance for me.
    Minipet Erlanger: why?
roguepsychonaut Resident: It's the last place I go when I delete an account.
    Minipet Erlanger: huh?
roguepsychonaut Resident: For the record, I don't delete them because I'm in trouble- it's an exercise in serenity.
    Lucinda Lavender: letting go?
roguepsychonaut Resident: You could say that.
Minipet Erlanger: start a new Avatar
    Minipet Erlanger: not bad
Minipet Erlanger: like being born again?
roguepsychonaut Resident: Whenever I come back as a new avatar, I go there, and then I go back to the same places I've always wandered.
Lucinda Lavender: do others recognize you?
roguepsychonaut Resident: Svarga, in Hindu cosmology, is a sort of "next best thing." It's the best heaven you can go to before you're reincarnated.
roguepsychonaut Resident: Oh, yes. I usually go back to my same old friends, after I spend a little time alone.
Lucinda Lavender: ah...it is nice to be alone some
    Lucinda Lavender: and then return
    Lucinda Lavender: a desert practice
    Minipet Erlanger: interesting
roguepsychonaut Resident: It's a very cathartic experience. Everything I had- all the items and chatlogs- are gone. It's sort of like leaving all your mortal things behind when you die.
roguepsychonaut Resident: I figure if it's easy enough for me to do it virtually, it'll be easier when I have to do it in first life.
    Lucinda Lavender: good practice
Minipet Erlanger: I cannot take things with me, but I hope to send them ahead.
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Hehe.
Lucinda Lavender: would you care to take the train to the art dome?
    roguepsychonaut Resident: Sure.
    Minipet Erlanger: sure
Minipet Erlanger: lead the way, slowly
