    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Riddle.
    Riddle Sideways: Hello, Rocketeer Bruce

Bruce Mowbray: Opppps! Accidentally hit the laugh button instead of the wave button.
Bruce Mowbray: Yeppers -- Bruce the Amish rocketeer!
Riddle Sideways: careful which buttons you push :)
Bruce Mowbray: Did you catch my graphic of my temperature widget?
Riddle Sideways: yes, it is a texture?
Bruce Mowbray: yes. It would probably come in as a texture because it is a graphic.
Riddle Sideways: it is only 63 here
    Bruce Mowbray: Oh my.
    Bruce Mowbray: I am envious.
Riddle Sideways: you might make 100
Bruce Mowbray: My A/C went out a few minutes ago for no apparent reason . . .
                 --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: and I thought I might be cooked .... literally.
Riddle Sideways: what temp is it at your place
Bruce Mowbray: but I pushed a couple of buttons and it came back on - as mysteriously as it went off.
Riddle Sideways: that weather graphic is for downtown
Bruce Mowbray: It is 97 right now -- which is the graphic that I just sent you.
Riddle Sideways: again, careful which buttons you push :)
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: Did you finally get the graphic?
    Riddle Sideways: yes, thanks
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Riddle Sideways: been sitting a lot today http://www.welcomehere.org/?Rainbow_Family_Gatherings
    Riddle Sideways: 4th of July
Bruce Mowbray: Your "downtown" statement is correct, actually. The weather service has monitors in Clarksburg, but I live about 6 miles west of the town itself.

Bruce Mowbray: OH MY! That looks wonderful!
Bruce Mowbray: You were actually at one of those gatherings?
    Riddle Sideways: been to 3
Riddle Sideways: and about 3 other non-july 4th gatherings

Bruce Mowbray: For some unknown reason, I cannot receive ANY sounds right now -- not even the birds.
Riddle Sideways: you said "WOW" 4 times
Bruce Mowbray: Ahhh! The problem was that I had all my sounds coming through my headphones -- and I wasn't wearing them.
Bruce Mowbray: Heat will do this to one's brain.
Riddle Sideways: lol, the test works
Bruce Mowbray: THAT's the only thing that's worked all day! Yayyyyyy!
Bruce Mowbray: Sry about the quadruple "wow's". I didn't hear even one of them.

Riddle Sideways: in 1976, there were 10,000+ people holding hands in a huge double circle
Bruce Mowbray: I was among that group and recall it well.
Riddle Sideways: in a Montana meadow that strecthed out of sight
Bruce Mowbray: As I remember, we were holding hands all across the nation....
Riddle Sideways: can't remember if we met :)
Bruce Mowbray: A lady-friend and her two sons and I drove to the location in Ohio where we could also join hands.
    Bruce Mowbray: back in 1876....
    Bruce Mowbray: WOW!
Bruce Mowbray: was it really that long ago?
    Bruce Mowbray: 1976.
    Bruce Mowbray: SORRY!
Riddle Sideways: was a long time
Bruce Mowbray is feeling his age.
Riddle Sideways: if looked at that way
Bruce Mowbray: a "Montana meadow" sounds wonderful.
Bruce Mowbray: I walked through a few parts of your state the following year -- 1977.
    Bruce Mowbray: Montana, I mean.
Bruce Mowbray: following the Lewis and Clark Trail -- on foot and alone.
Riddle Sideways: The annual Rainbow gathering is always on public land, but far far from anything
    Bruce Mowbray: Sounds wonderful.
Riddle Sideways: drive as close as can
    Riddle Sideways: then walk hours
Bruce Mowbray: Which town is it close to, if I might ask?
    Bruce Mowbray: (nearest, I meant).
Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, that year can't remember
Riddle Sideways: the last gas was an hour back from parking
Bruce Mowbray: kk. somewhere in a remote Montana meadow. good enough.
Bruce Mowbray: I love the wide-open spaces.
Riddle Sideways: in the North eastern mountains
Riddle Sideways: this year it is in Tenn.
    Bruce Mowbray: Ahhh!

    Riddle Sideways: http://www.welcomehere.org/?Rainbow_...bow_Gatherings
Riddle Sideways: note the map has no towns listed until you zoom out quite a ways
Bruce Mowbray: I have a RL friend who lives in Tennessee. . . and he's be quite interested in this, I'm sure.
Bruce Mowbray: I have bokmarked the page to send to him,.
    Bruce Mowbray: bookmarked*

Riddle Sideways: such a peaceful day
Riddle Sideways: the Lab is quiet today
Bruce Mowbray: Hmmmm. July 4th, of course.
Riddle Sideways: only heard one set of fireworks so far
Bruce Mowbray: We had some fireworks on the horizon last night -- from several small towns in the area.
Riddle Sideways: heard children laughing in the meadow
    Bruce Mowbray: Mmmmm.
Bruce Mowbray: Columbus, Ohio, has their usual "Red, White, and Boom" celebration last night -- but much bigger this year because it is the city's 200th anniversary.
    Bruce Mowbray: had*
    Riddle Sideways: 200 years, wow
Riddle Sideways: named after some sailor
Bruce Mowbray: Wish they'd names the town "Christopher" -- or, better, "Tecumseh."
    Bruce Mowbray: named*
Riddle Sideways: was thinkng about "O-Hi-O"
    Bruce Mowbray: yes?
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www2.nbc4i.com/special_sectio...12-ar-1085234/
    Riddle Sideways: Ohai-yo
    Bruce Mowbray: Ojai - HO!
Bruce Mowbray: (not a cool place to find yourself in the summer....)

Bruce Mowbray: I shall be fetching din din for myself and the fish now.
Bruce Mowbray: May you be well, Riddloe.
    Riddle Sideways: ok, and thanks
    Riddle Sideways: be cool
    Bruce Mowbray: I will try.
    Bruce Mowbray: Thanks!
