    Ewan Bonham: Yes, I guess..
Ewan Bonham: I will get a cup of tea..
    Bleu Oleander: sounds good
Bleu Oleander: any topics you would like to bring up?
    Ewan Bonham: back...

Bleu Oleander: many interesting conversations :)
Bleu Oleander: do you stay connected by reading the logs?
Ewan Bonham: I read a few and the emails..
Bleu Oleander: what is the value of the logs for you?
Ewan Bonham: They give me a flavor of the flow of conversation..
Bleu Oleander: yes, for me too
Bleu Oleander: can digest the ideas more slowly perhaps
    Ewan Bonham: nod
Bleu Oleander: what ideas have interested you lately?
Ewan Bonham: Yes, I can do that more easily in my liesure..
    Bleu Oleander: hey Yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning you two
Bleu Oleander: we were just discussing reading the logs
    Ewan Bonham: Hello Yaku
Bleu Oleander: and what recent ideas interested us
Bleu Oleander: what about you? any ideas interest you lately?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: not specifically
Yakuzza Lethecus: mainly how to use time better maybe
Yakuzza Lethecus: nothing on topic pabbish
    Bleu Oleander: personal time?

Yaku brings up an interesting topic

Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, how to fit work personal interests better, staying in touch with more positive environments then i usually create for myself being alone
Bleu Oleander: positive environments ... interesting
Bleu Oleander: what makes an environment positive?
Yakuzza Lethecus: haha, like if i´d say i like playing games, i would not consider that too positive
Ewan Bonham: It really takes conscious focus..
    Yakuzza Lethecus: but enjoyable
Bleu Oleander: so focus on positive?
Bleu Oleander: are virtual environments positive?
Ewan Bonham: I think focus on what I want .. and then staying with a daily discipline to make sure at least some of it is part of my day.
Yakuzza Lethecus: positive in maybe being surrounded by more reflection on what i actually do, rather just enjoying life, i am not unhappy but more focus more sophistication wouldn´t bother
Bleu Oleander: how do you incorporate more sophistication?
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am usually a bit messy in most of the things i do, so being more organized
Bleu Oleander: could use a little more organization myself :)

    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: engaging things on a very flat level, yesterday i toyed with streaming someting directly to my smartphone and then i felt bothered by the fact to i always rely on premade tools and will never aquire understanding of the things when i continue like that, still if i find the proper tools to make it work, things get meaningles the moment tech changes
Yakuzza Lethecus: just an minor example nothing really important
    Bleu Oleander: interesting
Bleu Oleander: role we give to tools
Bleu Oleander: what did you stream?
Yakuzza Lethecus: just trying to stream from the sattelite box directly to the smartphone without transcoding
Bleu Oleander: not sure I understand that tech
Yakuzza Lethecus: gosh, i like it more when you talk about the last salon :)
    Bleu Oleander: haha!
Yakuzza Lethecus: but you both had a conversation when i came in
Bleu Oleander: we've had many interesting ones lately
Bleu Oleander: we were musing about PaB conversations
Bleu Oleander: and if there were some interesting ideas presented
Bleu Oleander: any recent PaB ideas interest you?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well science and pab is interesting especially since i kind of excluded both from each other
Bleu Oleander: did you happen to watch the Craig Venter video link I posted in the emails?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: no
Bleu Oleander: some fascinating ideas mentioned there
Bleu Oleander: on the topic of what is life
    Bleu Oleander: creating life

sustainable groups ... Ewan hits on a key point

Yakuzza Lethecus: but there are even other things to learn about groups, how to create sustaninable groups, how do leaderpictures be created
Yakuzza Lethecus: the constant issue of maintaining the group, like when aph reminded about in her last mail
Yakuzza Lethecus: i consider even that as something to learn from, not on a direct level but all these things are a lot to learn from
Bleu Oleander: I think the important element in maintaining groups is a culture of inclusiveness
Ewan Bonham: Yes, a continual involvement of all willing members
    Bleu Oleander: all voices welcomed
    Bleu Oleander: sharing ideas
Bleu Oleander: remaining open to receiving new ones
Ewan Bonham: And letting folks know that they matter..
    Bleu Oleander: exactly
Bleu Oleander: we have such a vital group with many diverse ideas
Bleu Oleander: that's the main reason we stay together I think
    Bleu Oleander: respect
    Bleu Oleander: and curiousity
Bleu Oleander: for me it's not the space so much
Bleu Oleander: although a welcoming space is important
Bleu Oleander: but more the people
Bleu Oleander: and a sense of give and take
Bleu Oleander: what do you think?

    meaningful sharing

Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i do not consider a lot of things that i do as reallly meaningful, so sharing something that feels meaningful to me is problematic
Ewan Bonham: The sharing in itself is meaningful, regardless of the tangible benefits..
Bleu Oleander: I welcome the opportunity to hear different ideas
Bleu Oleander: it's of great value to be able to put your ideas out there and receive feedback
Bleu Oleander: just having to express yourself gives you an opportunity to review your own thoughts
Ewan Bonham: And also to feel in your heart that you are important enough to be listened to..
    Bleu Oleander: exactly
Bleu Oleander: going back and reading what you or others have said is interesting also
Bleu Oleander: appears different sometimes than what I often remember
Ewan Bonham: A way of recognizing my own mind's biases..
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Bleu Oleander: we all come from such diverse backgrounds and experiences
Ewan Bonham: That is a strength in group numbers..

    Quality

Bleu Oleander: In Pema's recent sessions he talks about quality
Bleu Oleander: Pema Pera: I would like to introduce a third term, in between what appears and what may be really there Pema Pera: I will give it a simple name: quality
Bleu Oleander: could we imagine applying "Quality" to ideas as well?
Bleu Oleander: trying to see beyond an expressed idea to what might be really there?

Ewan Bonham: Yes, ideas and connections..
    Bleu Oleander: a deeper connection
    Bleu Oleander: a deeper understanding
Yakuzza Lethecus: i might sometimes find a quality idea, but usually i just keep sitting till something makes it through the perception filter
Yakuzza Lethecus: i do think of saying just hi and bye mostly
Bleu Oleander: so perhaps "staying in the room" until a deeper level of perception?
Yakuzza Lethecus: but i don´t want to talk about my last game of civ or having seen picard as robin hood in tng the first time while have clamimed to have sen all the episodes
    Bleu Oleander: :))
Bleu Oleander: you seem to be engaged in many conversations though Yaku
Bleu Oleander: you have many interesting contributions
Bleu Oleander: don't underestimate what you can offer the group

    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: well I must go
    Bleu Oleander: rl work :)
Ewan Bonham: I a s well.. and thank you..
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye the two of you
Bleu Oleander: I have the log and will post it
Bleu Oleander waves to Storm :)
