Storm Nordwind: Good morning Korel :)
Korel Laloix smiles... what you up to today?
Storm Nordwind: Well it's the start of November, so I always have chores at the start of a month here around my condo complex :)
Korel Laloix: Oh OK... sounds like a good way to handle the common work.
Storm Nordwind: And as it's this time of year, I'm playing the most appropriate music - best Halloween album ever ;)
Korel Laloix: What is that?
Storm Nordwind: "Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo. It's getting a little old now (1984) but it's still the best ;)

It's All Saints Day. So what makes a saint?

Storm Nordwind: Meanwhile... since it is All Saints Day (unless you prefer Día de los Muertos!) I was wondering: "What makes a saint?"

Storm Nordwind: hmm... in line with Día de los Muertos, is there ever a good time for a restart? ;)
Ari (arisia.vita): yes, when the end is reached... :)

Being a saint.

FcSeeker: there was time ....quite a long ....that I got much headache for the saint thing....
Storm Nordwind: Oh Fc?
FcSeeker: as I withdrawed from the publick basicly for that reason
FcSeeker: because I started to get letters and calls how I am a saint
Korel Laloix: Just reading up on the Saint process. It is interesing to read.. at least the Catholic version.
FcSeeker: that's what put me to think much this saint thing also, because I have saved more than 3 person's life...
FcSeeker: but I got out of the headache with the help of the friend
FcSeeker: as she reminded me of people's right to think how they think....that it's not my headache to worry for that...

Korel Laloix: True... and the whole saint thing means different things to different people.
FcSeeker: then she said also this; "Maybe they wouldn't been able to receive help from you without such thinking"
Storm Nordwind: A very good point
FcSeeker: well...about that I dont know, but how I finally go
FcSeeker: complete peace with such
FcSeeker: was, that I realized that it is people who make saints
Korel Laloix: Complete peace sounds so lovely.
FcSeeker: in other words; that has only the same value if they make devils....
FcSeeker: so...truly not up to me to worry....wouldn't have time to anything else if worries for how people think....
Storm Nordwind nods and smiles

Korel Laloix: You can't completely set yourself apart though.
Korel Laloix: You have to at least have an awarenes to get along.
FcSeeker: but yes; as so called saint, one cannot anymore speak freely....so I withdrawed
Korel Laloix: And getting feedback is sometimes a good thing.
FcSeeker: from public
Korel Laloix: That sounds tempting as well.

Getting back to sanity.

Storm Nordwind: I remember once writing a short poem:

Time to choose:
which to become?
Madman,
Poet
or Saint.

FcSeeker: smiles widely
Ari (arisia.vita): that's lovely Storm
Korel Laloix: But why limited to just one?... smiles
Storm Nordwind: haha! :)
Ari (arisia.vita): indeed Korel
FcSeeker: know what Storm....
FcSeeker: what a foolish idea I got those times; your poem tells about that
FcSeeker: as I truly thought that I simply must start to grow to be like the saint :)
FcSeeker: well...I got back to sanity quite soon

A good goal?

Korel Laloix: Maybe not a must... but a good goal maybe.
Korel Laloix: What is sanity?... smiles
FcSeeker: hm...why a good goal ?
Korel Laloix: Some saints really did make great differences... Mother Therssa for instance.
Korel Laloix: Perhaps being like her could be a good goal for some.
FcSeeker: think it's to be in balance with the truth one is aware...
FcSeeker: I've thought her also a lot ...
FcSeeker: she also just did what her heart told her to do...
FcSeeker: I think it's the base that all of the people should have as the goal
Korel Laloix: I think there are many people that live lives worth of mimicing.

The silent ones of the Earth.

FcSeeker: ...so many saint stories are not told....
Korel Laloix: And so many that are sainted in one way or another that are not worthy of that respect.
FcSeeker: in my home country people speak about such people as 'the silent ones of the Earth'
Storm Nordwind: That is a wonderful name :))
Ari (arisia.vita): Do saints care about fame?
FcSeeker: no
Storm Nordwind: I suspect, Ari, only if it helps them to help others
Korel Laloix: I would say that a real saint would care about fame.... to avoid it.
FcSeeker: I agree with you Korel with that
Korel Laloix: There are many way people elivate others.
Korel Laloix: And tear them down.
FcSeeker: and I take that to be the reason, that when one is taken to be the saint, one's words are taken too strongly
Korel Laloix: Depends on teh audience.
FcSeeker: also one's all doings wouldn't be good to all of the people....so the fame twists things of life....
Korel Laloix: Back in a bit.
FcSeeker: and the more audience there is, the more there's also twisting things
Korel Laloix: Need to go find a snack..
FcSeeker: ...thinking how many people uses stories of Jesus' as the power ower other people, which for sure Jesus never meant
