Raffila Millgrove: and wow. the whole thing tanked then in the first MINUTE of the dicussion cause Everyone typed a NO

Raffila Millgrove: i was so not expecting that. i turn out to be the only one there who even knew.. how-to.
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps that was why everyone was there... to learn
Raffila Millgrove: had to stop. and have everyone send themselves a postcard and wastebasket my next 3 questions. haha. what an unexpected start.

Raffila Millgrove: well it was not a "learning" thing. it was an exchange.. thing. so we really got off to one weird stasrt.
Raffila Millgrove: but it turn out super. as they did all toss in the LM.. to make a fabulous notecard for all to take home.. on places to go.

Raffila Millgrove: i pass to you if you like it.. it's up to date on most of the LM which is always the hassle with LM.. how long they are "good for".

Raffila Millgrove: to answer your q. Steve. i do this regular one.. every two week. but i also.. go to mentoring sessions about 3 times a week and then do a big demo thing.. every couple months.
stevenaia Michinaga: someday I hope to explore my many LMs

Raffila Millgrove: and once i get my medical clinic up which is very soon, then i will do even more worshops etc.

Raffila Millgrove: i get behind sometimes in the logs.
Raffila Millgrove: but the recent spate of mail.. it's very hard to keep up in that and read carefully and check out the links. it's worth it, but it takes a lot of time.
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I find the theads and diverse opinions expressed interesting, when I have a thought, typically it ends up being expressed by someone else before I get around to a response

stevenaia Michinaga: the "coversational style of a well produced email is so different thatn a conversation in SL
Raffila Millgrove: i had that bag.. to let everyone touch to get the completed notecard one guy made.. while we talked. and he was collecting all the LM everyone sent him.

Raffila Millgrove: it's really hard to handle all the things at once when you try complicated stuff in a big group.

Raffila Millgrove: i actually have a bot one of my people made for me.. when she couldn't be here. it's an artifical intelligence. she programmed it to talk to me. it's hysterical.

stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps it is more like listening when I ahve my computer read the emails to me, it is dificult to do that with a log when the avatar names are interspersed at every line

stevenaia Michinaga: no, I enjoy it a back as I am doing other things to save time, I can always go back if the plot thickens and re-read it

oO0Oo Resident: I like the way Pema, in the way he communicates.. when it seems my own mind would make a division.. on a topic.. he just embraces more and more.. leaving nothing and nobody out. It is hard to describe, but I admire it a lot.
oO0Oo Resident: A kind of huge perspective.. and great/tremendous sensitivity and insight into how others may feel.. from many many angles

Raffila Millgrove: i have mixed feeling on it. i admire the not leaving anyone out factor. i like embracing. but often.. it seem like things then spiral so far out.. the action never happnes.

stevenaia Michinaga: but it is nice to have someone "touch" each thought
stevenaia Michinaga: you never know which thread will become something attractive to someone else
Raffila Millgrove: in my mail.. i was trying to point out.. that because we cannot get on same page together.. it gets very confusing. but that was seen as a criticism or a request for tighter structure or.. strictness. so i think i will give up on commenting on the dynamics of the group. it's why i feel like i will always be an outsider. and feel like leaving every 3 weeks or so.
Raffila Millgrove: it's also why i feel that attracting new members is getting harder. but no one seem to care about that either.

Raffila Millgrove: i dunno. maybe when eos and boxy. if they do.. put together another exploration.. maybe we see a different style. wait and see on that.

Raffila Millgrove: we overlook those other senses so often. to gather data i think we need to use them all.

Lucinda Lavender: more sensitive to the others pain
Lucinda Lavender: maybe it is just the order of things that happen...a characteristic of that
Lucinda Lavender: when you set yourself towards takingsomeone elses pain on...maybe it leaves one in a more vulnerable place
