Wol Euler was guardian this morning, filling in for Quen Oh. Wol's computer didn't record the Japanese characters properly, if anyone has these in their log please replace the gibberish that's here.

We were discussing the autologging system as the gong went.

    Wol Euler: hello moon

    Fael Illyar: rehi Moon :)

    Moon Fargis: hi :)

Fael Illyar: I was trying to get started when you mentioned it last and then someone called me and made sure I need to do something with the Windows installation on exactly the system I had all the things ready for advancing autologger.

    Wol Euler: hmmmmm

Wol Euler: well, I don't have any spare time or protection from RL distractions to offer ...

Wol Euler: (not time that I could cut off and send to you)

Wol Euler: you know more about it now than I. Is the job splittable, sectionable?

Fael Illyar: no, it's quite simple and straightforward.

Fael Illyar: well, except ... someone could do the UI part and someone else the part that posts

Wol Euler: does it need a UI? do we not use the normal Deki wiki for editing?

Wol Euler: oh, asking for a title.

Fael Illyar: well, when it's on the Deki, all the lines are part of the history.

    Wol Euler: mm?

Wol Euler: oh, you want the GoC to edit the database before it gets posted?

Wol Euler: that is a bottomless pit (I write database UIs for work)

Wol Euler: let's just auto-post and edit on the wiki, please.

Wol Euler: we can add cleanness and politeness in version two.

Maxine arrives and we begin to discuss PaB.

    Wol Euler: hello maxine

    Moon Fargis: hi maxine

Maxine Walden: hi Wol, Moon, Fael

    Fael Illyar: Hi Maxine :)

Maxine Walden: how the jetlag, Fael?

Maxine Walden: have an idea you all were in another conversation. If so, please carry on

Wol Euler: just geeking about the autologging before the hour. we can ove on to PaB

Maxine Walden: what's the big box?

Wol Euler: I guess it's the shipping crate the model came in.

    Maxine Walden: hmmm

Fael Illyar: well, jetlag is probably gone by now but my sleep rhythm is still a bi late :)

    Maxine Walden: can imagine, Fael

    Wol Euler nods sympathetically.

Fael Illyar: well, I used to have a late rhythm :P

    Maxine Walden: ?

Fael Illyar: it was moving closer to normality but now it's back to rather late :)

Maxine Walden: oh, could feel like a setback.

    Wol Euler: "diffferently normal" perhaps.

Fael Illyar: well, just mildly inconvenient, really :P makes it difficult to wake up for my 1AM slots in time.

    Maxine Walden: ah...

    Adams joins us.

    Wol Euler: hello adams

    Maxine Walden: here comes Adams

Wol Euler: glowy adams, another new look?

Maxine Walden: perhaps a Halloween ghost?

    Adams Rubble: Hello everyone :)

    Moon Fargis: hi adams

Fael Illyar: Ah, Hi Adams :)

Adams Rubble: I came on last night and got a notecard about some free stuff and went and came up with these :)

    Fael Illyar: new look :)

Wol Euler waits patiently for rezzing.

Fael Illyar: oh, traffic lights necklace :)

    Adams Rubble: How is everyone?

Wol Euler: quite well, thanks. and yourself?

Moon Fargis enjoys his tea and cookies

    Maxine Walden: been fine

    Maxine Walden: and you, Adams?

Adams Rubble: I am finding out why i have been sleepless finally but don;t know yet what to do about it. I had two dreams last night that pointed to my "selves"

    Wol Euler: ah!

    Maxine Walden: oh?

    Moon Fargis: adams

Moon Fargis: simple try out to sleep other way around

Adams Rubble: The labyrinth I was in last weekend is connected but now I eem to be going back through fomrer selves

    Adams Rubble: haha Moon

    Fael Illyar: I'm well :)

Moon Fargis: also itm ight work to turn your sleeping position about 180 degrees

Moon Fargis: so you sleep where your feets normally are..

Adams Rubble makes note of Moon's suggestion

Maxine Walden: I'd be interested in the dreams if you wished to tell them, Adams

Fael Illyar: Ah, give your mind other things to worry about that are more imposing but less disturbing?

Adams Rubble: The second one is rather complex and might be better read...it is on my blog today

Adams Rubble: before I went to sleep last night I asked for a clue to my sleepless ness

    Wol Euler: hello gaya

    Maxine Walden: hi, gaya

Adams Rubble: In my first dream, I was guardian and asked what everyone would like to talk about

    Adams Rubble: Hi Gaya

Adams Rubble: I got an IM across my chat log from someone who wanted to talk about "selves"

    Moon Fargis: hi gaya!

    Wol Euler smiles.

    Fael Illyar: Hi Gaya :)

Maxine Walden: (dreams are so communicative)

Wol Euler: did you pursue it?

    Adams Rubble: yes Maxine

Adams Rubble: No I woke up there from that one but I knew that was my clue

    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_

Adams Rubble: In the second dream I seem to be liviong through former selves

Adams Rubble: I am wondering about the fish. they seem so important but so out of place

    Wol Euler: "fish"?

Fael Illyar: "thanks for all the fish" :)

Maxine Walden: maybe the importance of the 'so out of place feeling self'?

Wol Euler: fish out of water

    Adams Rubble: maxine?

Gaya Ethaniel smiles. yes, thanks for all the fish now I'm off

Maxine Walden: sometimes that 'feeling lost, out of place' is a diffficult self to appreciate, integrate

    Fael Illyar smiles.

Maxine Walden: but if we sprun it, that lost feeling self can feel in outer space, rejected ...

Fael Illyar waves goodbye to Gaya.

    Maxine Walden: spurn

    Faenik: why not?

    Wol Euler: bye gaya

Fael Illyar blinks, did she misunderstand the "I'm off" statement

    Adams Rubble: bye Gaya

    Maxine Walden: bye gaya

    Fael Illyar: oh, apparently not.

Maxine Walden: (just to mention this is my early morning, have to leave in about 5 minutes)

    Wol Euler: ok, no worries.

Adams Rubble: Thanks for the warning Maxine

Adams Rubble: I can relate to the lost part, wondering about the rejected part

    Fael Illyar: wb Gaya :)

Maxine Walden: I find, Adams, that when I have trouble accepting a part of myself I am rejecting that part and I dimly feel rejected...

Gaya Ethaniel smiles. didn't hurt much, falling down from the sky

Fael Illyar finds it somehow warming to have another with these wings sitting next to her.

    Adams Rubble: Ah

    Adams Rubble: Hello Pema

Maxine Walden: so that I feel the sense of acceptance or rejection that I impose on myself

    Fael Illyar: Hi Pema :)

    Wol Euler: oh, interesting.

    Wol Euler: hello pema

    Moon Fargis: hi pema!

    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_

    Maxine Walden: hi, Pema

    Pema Pera: Hi everybody!

Adams Rubble is thinking about maxine's statement

    Pema Pera: Hi ファエルちゃん^^

Wol Euler wonders: will Pema close the circle by sitting at hte corner, or re-enforce the ring by sitting between maxine and moon?

Pema Pera is still rezzing . . .

    Wol Euler smiles

Maxine Walden: about to have to leave...so Pema may reshape the circle...oh there he is

    Faenik: indeed?

Maxine Walden: Adams, maybe we can continue this aspect of the conversation, about accepting or rejecting aspects of our selves and thus feeling accepted or rejected...

Maxine Walden: continue it at another time...

    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_

Adams Rubble: Yes, thanks maxine. Have a good Friday :)

Wol Euler: bye maxine, enjoy the rest of the day

Maxine Walden: sorry I have to leave, see you all later. Yes Happy Halloween, all

Pema Pera: hello and goodbye Maxine!

Pema Pera: sorry to be late

Fael Illyar waves goodbye to Maxine.

Moon Fargis: ahh halloween? when ?

    Moon Fargis: today?

    Adams Rubble: yup

    Wol Euler chuckles

Pema Pera: are the objects on the table related to Halloween?

Wol Euler: we were considering htat earlier.

Wol Euler: the model of the new pavilion is a landmark-giver

Pema Pera: I like your group label, Moon

    Moon Fargis giggles

    Pema Pera: つきファエラギス

    Pema Pera: 月ファエラギス

Pema Pera: ah, okay, got it!

    Pema Pera: and the box?

Wol Euler: the shipping crate the model came in?

    Wol Euler: (at a guess)

    Pema Pera: ah!

    Adams Rubble: :)

Faenik is a hairy black ball with eyes and ears.

Wol Euler: it's Adelene's, that would suit her sense of humour.

    Gaya Ethaniel smiles

    Pema Pera: :) Can't read n's head

Pema Pera: ah, laggg ; Can't read the label next to the lion's head (I typed)

Pema Pera: What were you talking about before I entered?

    Adams Rubble: me

    Adams Rubble: :)

    Adams Rubble: my dreams

    Gaya Ethaniel listens

Wol Euler: (please continue Adans, I'll give pema a notecard of what came before)

Adams Rubble: Pema knows about them :)

    Pema Pera: yes, please continue

Adams Rubble: We were discussing the fish in my second dream which has inspired Fael

Adams Rubble: Maxine thought that may have to do with accepting or rejecting my self

Adams Rubble: The main point is that I am having issues with my selves both in RL and SL

Adams Rubble: The seocnd dream suggests I may be working my way backward

    Fael Illyar: inspired me?

    Adams Rubble: visually Fael

    Fael Illyar: oh :)

Wol Euler: I find it interesting that thees were both SL dreams: PaB, IMing, camming about ... Were you Rubble or Dubvrovna?

Adams Rubble: I felt more the RL me

Adams Rubble: The avatars don;t sem important now in what is happening now

Adams Rubble: Obviously there are references to paB and SL but I think that is more from the framework of what is happening than my avatars

Adams Rubble: It is the GROUP which is important

    Adams Rubble: I think :)

Adams Rubble: The RL part seems very serious stuff to me

Pema Pera: Overall, I'm very glad to see so many things moving for you, Adams; the exploration itself is wh is far more tricky. I look forward to talking with you in two days in RL, with you and Stim and Pia, over brunch!

    Faenik: indeed?

Pema Pera: ah, something dropped again. Correction:

Pema Pera: the exploration itself is what is most important. Interpretations are far more tricky

Pema Pera: (sorry, my computer keeps freezing up and dropping parts of what I write)

    Adams Rubble: oh my

    Faenik: could be

Adams Rubble: So just let things play out then?

Gaya Ethaniel: true Pema re: interpretations

Pema Pera: stay with the energy of the dreams, and try to be open to what it wants to tell you

    Wol Euler nods

    Faenik: なるほど^^

Pema Pera: and if associations and interpretations present themselves, it is a good idea to taste them

Fael Illyar: yes, interpretation is not really necessary. When you know what it is, it just clicks.

Adams Rubble greaches for more tootpicks to keep the eyes open

Pema Pera: but chewing on them and trying to figure out things in detail may or may not be so helpful

Pema Pera: perhaps Moon can wake up Adams with a siren or two?

Adams Rubble: I can see I got myself in an awful labyrinth last weekend

Wol Euler: cal disabled it ;-)

    Pema Pera: hehehe

Pema Pera: ah, sorry, Adams, I'm several days behind in reading your blog; can you say what lab or labyrinth?

Pema Pera: (I like lab as both laboratory and labyrinth)

Fael Illyar: yep, activation script and sound has vanished

    Pema Pera: (and labrador)

Pema Pera: (and btw, in five minutes RL will call me)

Wol Euler: hello sonic, welcome back.

Adams Rubble: Last weekend I had the dueling avarats struggling for supremacy with the RL self. In retrospect much of that was simply an illusion.

    Pema Pera: Hi Sonic

    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_

    Sonic Moonites: hi

    Adams Rubble: Hello Sonic

Pema Pera: but probably a useful and interesting illusion!

Pema Pera: At some level all is illusion after all

Wol Euler: I didn't have time to ask earlier: we record and publish these sessions on our wiki. May we have your permission to include you?

    Sonic Moonites: yeah of course

    Wol Euler: thank you :)

Adams Rubble: Yes, I am pondering your statement about the core self being illusionary

    Adams Rubble: being illusion

Fael Illyar: the same sort of illusory as you could say the borders of nations are :)

Pema Pera: everything is illusionary, and yet we should respect everything, within its context

Gaya Ethaniel looks up at fish that swim happily in the air

    Faenik: indeed?

Pema Pera: we can celebrate each appearance, as the illusion that it is, it is all we got, and it is beautiful beyond descor what it is

Pema Pera: beyond description, as soon as we learn to open our eyes to see it for what it is

    Wol Euler nods

Pema Pera: (is what I typed before my Mac frooze)

Pema Pera: ah, RL calling me

Pema Pera: good seeing y'all again!

    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_

Wol Euler: bye pema, nice to see you agai.

Fael Illyar: See you later Pema :)

Pema Pera: see you soon again

Adams Rubble: bye pema :) Thanks

    Wol Euler: +n

    Sonic Moonites: bye

Wol Euler: (I need to go to RL for 5 minutes too, brb)

    Adams Rubble: Yes me too

    Faenik: could be

Adams Rubble: oh misunderstood, need to go soon

Gaya Ethaniel: another meeting calls... good to see you all

Fael Illyar: Oh, ok, See you later Adams :)

Adams Rubble: That was an interesting comment you made about borders fael

Fael Illyar: See you later Gaya :)

    Adams Rubble: bye gaya

    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_

    and making sure they're respected

    Adams Rubble: yes

Fael Illyar: very similar to borders in your mind :)

Adams Rubble: It would be easier seeing the borders of the core self being illusion than the core self itself being illusion

Adams Rubble: I think we said the same thing

    Fael Illyar: Hi Kat :)

    Adams Rubble: Hello Kat

    Kat Lemieux: Hi!

Fael Illyar: what else is the core self but the borders?

    Moon Fargis: hi kat

    Kat Lemieux: Hello, Moon

    Moon Fargis: ah hi sonic

    Sonic Moonites: hey!

    Adams Rubble: Hmmm. Fael

Adams Rubble: Unfortunately I do have to go. have a Happy halloween everyon

    Kat Lemieux: Bye Adam;s

Fael Illyar: but, really, there's no reason to eradicate the borders. Just see what they are and how they're formed.

Fael Illyar: See yo later Adams :)

    Sonic Moonites: bye adams

    Adams Rubble: Hmmm

Adams Rubble: OK bye for now :)

    Wol Euler: back

Wol Euler: ah, just missed her.

    Wol Euler: hello kat

    Kat Lemieux: hi, Wol

Kat Lemieux: So, PaB is moving?

    Fael Illyar: apparently

Wol Euler: yep, so it sems

Moon Fargis: hmm since its halloween... we have to let our demons out heh

    Wol Euler: egad

    Kat Lemieux: Oh, my!

Fael Illyar doesn't quite have a demon ...

Moon Fargis takes a cup of tea

    Kat Lemieux: That's quite impressive!

Moon Fargis: ;) seems i am to heavy for the pavilion

    Moon Fargis: hmm

    Wol Euler: a demonic embrace

    Wol Euler: hello Visitor

    Kat Lemieux: HEllo, Visitor

    Moon Fargis: greetings Visitor

    Sonic Moonites: hi Visitor

    Visitor: hi

    Fael Illyar: hello Visitor

    Visitor: hi how are you

    Wol Euler: pretty well thanks.

Fael Illyar: I'm well, thank you, how are you?

Wol Euler: this is the final stages of a meeting of a meditation and discussion group called Play as Being

Wol Euler: though ti may not look that way :)

Visitor: l am very good tanks

Fael Illyar: in SL, things don't always look what they are :)

Wol Euler: much like RL in that respect.

Fael Illyar: yes, but more so :)

Wol Euler: that seems to have scared him off.

    Kat Lemieux: ;-)

Wol Euler: philosophy did what Moon's monster couldn't

Kat Lemieux: Noobies always are in such a hurry

Fael Illyar: well, not a good fit for our group I guess if he gets scared that easily :)

Wol Euler nods. There is a distinction between newbies (who are just new) and noobs (who are nerdishly new)

Wol Euler: newbies want to learn the rules, noobs came here looking to escape from them.

    Kat Lemieux: Good analysis

Fael Illyar: ah, that's an useful distinction :)

Kat Lemieux: Have you all seen the new Kira Café?

Fael Illyar: depends on how new it is :)

Wol Euler grins. Very nice, isn't it?

Wol Euler tickles Moon's furry belly

Kat Lemieux: Very nice indeed. Looks like Storm built most if not all of it

Fael Illyar scratches Moon behind the ear.

Wol Euler: a masterpiece of dedication

    Kat Lemieux: Indeed

    Moon Fargis purrzzzzzzzzz

Fael Illyar: Yes, it's a very nice cafe :)

Fael Illyar: and built without being skimpy on prims either :)

Kat Lemieux: Well, lots of textures and sculpties, I think, to help avoid running over the allowance

Fael Illyar: well, sculpties, well used make for better overall result anyway :)

Wol Euler: oooh, kat, you will be 1200 days old tomorrow!

Wol Euler: we'll have to celebrate :)

    Moon Fargis: ;)

    Fael Illyar smiles.

Kat Lemieux: Sorry -- distracted. Piet just walked in

Wol Euler chuckles at the overlap of RL and SL

Kat Lemieux: I'm visiting at the IAS this week

Kat Lemieux: He was amused that I got here just as he left

    Fael Illyar: :)

Wol Euler: well, the conversation seems to have exhausted itself. Shall we declare the 7 am session ended?

    Fael Illyar: sure :)

    Wol Euler bangs her gavel.
