FcSeeker Resident: I have been specially busy last week...
Bruce Mowbray: Really? What have you been up to, if I might ask?
FcSeeker Resident: that I shall travel to USA...
Bruce Mowbray: WONDERFUL!!!
Bruce Mowbray: Any special places you're planning to visit?
FcSeeker Resident: ...my life has gone quite completely upside down
Bruce Mowbray: oh dear.
FcSeeker Resident: so much that I still cannot truly understand
Bruce Mowbray listens carefully.
FcSeeker Resident: as I at first said that I couldn't survive from so much traveling
FcSeeker Resident: and I never had thought that I could step onto the ground of States...
FcSeeker Resident: as that's how people much speak here about USA
Bruce Mowbray: yes, "the states."
Bruce Mowbray: So, you are flying to New York?
FcSeeker Resident: I had been stuck to such ideas that the rest of my life shall be lonely and 'empty' ...if it can be when has much friends and each day is adventure
Bruce Mowbray: Hmmmmm. . . . So, you will be visiting friends in the United States?
FcSeeker Resident: no, but I shall see much of USA
FcSeeker Resident: more such friends that I still have not even heard about
Bruce Mowbray: I wish you a happy adventure.
FcSeeker Resident: I feel such grace that I'm convinced that I shall
Bruce Mowbray: Well, there are about 300,000,000 of us now -- so there will be a lot of new friends to meet.

Bruce Mowbray: Actually, it was probably put off longer than that -- because I just made it up.

Bruce Mowbray: Do either of you know how to make ice sculptures for the Dome project for December?

oO0Oo Resident: I would maybe.. hmm post a video clip of someone making an ice sculpture, and try and embed that on a board or something.
Bruce Mowbray: Hmmm. . . Well, I'd have no problem with making a poster of a 3D sculpture that I made in another program....
Bruce Mowbray: but I think the idea is to build a 3D sculpture right here in SL... and I don't know how.

FcSeeker Resident: have no idea how to do such
Bruce Mowbray: Hmmm. . . I think they call this a "learning curve". . .
Bruce Mowbray: I have a new computer and have been installing a whole lot of programs on it - - and my 3D program was one of the first to be installed.
Bruce Mowbray: so I'm ready to make the poster(s) -- but I don't think that's what Bleu had in mind.
oO0Oo Resident: The three of us can wear an ice-like costume and do a group hug.. staying very still

Bruce Mowbray: Well, THAT was interesting.

oO0Oo Resident: hah! Forgot where I was for a minute LOL
Bruce Mowbray: If I were making "ice" in a 3D program. . . I would probably use a texture like "glass."
Bruce Mowbray: easy to do that.
Bruce Mowbray: but in SL. . . . who knows?
Bruce Mowbray: maybe should ask Alfred.
oO0Oo Resident: Have enjoyed your 3-D sculptures Bruce, and it would seem you have pondered and worked with translucency, and reflectivity and light in them a fair bit.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I have, actually.
Bruce Mowbray: so, it would be a lot easier for me just to make a poster. . .
Bruce Mowbray: but I don't know if that would be allowed.

Bruce Mowbray: Yes, it is an art form. . .

Bruce Mowbray: The only problem with dying while lying down (or sitting here) is that you might end up underneath the patio.
Bruce Mowbray: I will check that out with Darren.  Thanks for the tip!
