Lucinda Lavender: will be a listener for the moment...
Paradise Tennant: hmm I have a dream all written down ..kind of disjointed ..
Ewan Bonham: Listening..
Lucinda Lavender: Yay!!!
Paradise Tennant: smiles so seldom remember my dreams
Lucinda Lavender: listening...
Paradise Tennant: was at a business dinner function in a hotel .....I  had helped organize it .. a speaker was giving a talk
Paradise Tennant: one of the gentleman there had to leave and I got up to show him out
Paradise Tennant: we walked out of the room and into these long corridors
Paradise Tennant: that were under renovation some of them very dark very dusty
Paradise Tennant: he was very elderly which was why I got up to help him.  I was getting worried we had somehow gotten lost
Paradise Tennant: eventually another man joined us and steered us to the elevators ...
Paradise Tennant: we got down to the lobby and .. I wanted to see the elderly man to his car
Paradise Tennant: because it seemed we were in a different tower I was not sure he would end up in the right parking lot
Paradise Tennant: the second person .. insisted I could not ..
Paradise Tennant: he had to go .. on his own
Paradise Tennant: told me that he was the former head of Kraft industries and it was his time to go ..
Paradise Tennant: watched as he walked out of the door into pitch black .. kind of wet night
Paradise Tennant: was worried and concerned but he turned and waved at me smiled .. and then stepped out .sort of got swallowed

Paradise Tennant: hmm well I guess if anyone has comments we talk a bit or if anyone remembers another dream or has one they think of often ?
Ewan Bonham: Hmmm...your dream..

Ewan Bonham: I was saying that it reminded me of parts of my character that I could shed..L

Ewan Bonham: Oh...parts of me that are no longer of use..

Ewan Bonham: Once they are ready to go, it is easier on me to let them shed off naturally.
Ewan Bonham: My taking them off is actually a form of attachment..
Lucinda Lavender: it takes a certain amount of trust to allow someone/thing to go off
Lucinda Lavender: into the unknown
Paradise Tennant: interesting how we end up with redundant parts :)

Ewan Bonham: Yes...like shedding skins..

Paradise Tennant: do you feel lighter when you let go of an old part Ewan ?
Ewan Bonham: Yes, I do...
Lucinda Lavender: the corridors were under renovation...

Ewan Bonham: Some may say from the absence...but I think it is from the taking away attachment..
Paradise Tennant: often not really sure what makes up "me" .. where the dividing line is

Paradise Tennant: what parts of our character can we shed happily ?
Paradise Tennant: ego is the obvious on ...
Paradise Tennant: just difficult to do
Ewan Bonham: Yes...only bits at a time...:)
Paradise Tennant: grinding away at it ..sort of a sanding process :)
Ewan Bonham: Smile ...yes
Paradise Tennant: if we put up with the friction .. we end up smoother
Ewan Bonham: Nice symbolism..
Paradise Tennant: in Buddhism and Bon ..you clean and cook for others as a way of minimizing your ego
Ewan Bonham: I must excuse myself for a bit..:)
Paradise Tennant: by that method .. I guess all the world's mothers gain grace

Lucinda Lavender: maybe the action of choosing what you will attend to brings the smoother surface...
Paradise Tennant: yes focus is important
Lucinda Lavender: thinking about cooking I have recently done...feeling good because it worked out well...
Lucinda Lavender: an offering of sorts
Paradise Tennant: smiles yes an offering of thanks for the now .. the bliss of this day :)
Lucinda Lavender: and of the year
Paradise Tennant: what did you make ?
Lucinda Lavender: 3 pies and sweet potatoes
Lucinda Lavender: and rolls
Paradise Tennant: hmm what kind of pies ?
Lucinda Lavender: took all day yesterday...but there was nothing else I had to do
Paradise Tennant: nice
Lucinda Lavender: one pumpkin with gluten free crust, on fresh pumpkin with half and half and regular crust, and one pecan
Paradise Tennant: sigh .. all the way up the decadence chain
Lucinda Lavender: :)))
Paradise Tennant: such a nice thing dinner together
Lucinda Lavender: for those who grew up with an out house it was food where they were able to create special things
Lucinda Lavender: hard work by the mothers in the kitchen I think...
Paradise Tennant: yes lots of hard work
Lucinda Lavender: not that hard maybe but...they worked at it
Lucinda Lavender: so I have the feeling we are helping keep memories alive

Lucinda Lavender: somehow I heard sadness or having let go of the attachment to the feast for the moment

Lucinda Lavender: I have to say tho...I like to go out on christmas eve...and be amidst the bustle of shoppers getting ready to deliver their gifts...I feel it is a special moment...the gifts are about to be given....the moment seems ripe with giving

Lucinda Lavender: maybe I feel the energy of all gifts of all time...
Paradise Tennant: yes ..really like everything about xmas
Tess Aristocrat: I am tired of putting the tree up...

Paradise Tennant: smiles my dad had one he kept in a big bag and would just put in the cupboard with the bag on and at xmas take it out and take the bag off :)

Lucinda Lavender: I compared it to other stones and had to say it gave off the most beautiful and pure pink light

Tess Aristocrat: and in the middle of it there was some reference, some sort of object that was also in SL

Tess Aristocrat: can't recall exactly what it was at the moment, only that during the dream, I made a note of that..
Tess Aristocrat: I said to myself during the dream .."oh, I'm dreaming of SL
Lucinda Lavender: awareness...
Tess Aristocrat: More and more I'm aware of my dreams, at least on some level
Lucinda Lavender: SL does feel like a dream too...
Lucinda Lavender: at times
Tess Aristocrat: and yes, at times..probably not all the time
Lucinda Lavender: do you write them down?
Tess Aristocrat: The dreams I remember..those are usually the ones
Tess Aristocrat: no..do you?
Lucinda Lavender: yes...most...since 1987
Lucinda Lavender: ask me what happened in a certain year I will not remember that tho
Lucinda Lavender: I have recorded them because someone suggested I do that
Tess Aristocrat: Do you find yourself in your dreams saying "Oh, here I am..dreaming again"
Lucinda Lavender: sometimes
Tess Aristocrat: nods ㋡
Tess Aristocrat: it's better when you can become more actively involved in what happens
Lucinda Lavender: I think watching the dream is fine too...the awareness of being in the dream is one thing...the witnessing of an image is what I find interesting to look at... the object...that shows in both worlds

Lucinda Lavender: I mainly look at "What is showing up here...."
Tess Aristocrat: I have really vivid dreams

Tess Aristocrat: and sometimes I think I must be the one that keep them going..as they are like full length movies or something

Tess Aristocrat: I always listen to people on TV programs when they talk about dream analysis

Tess Aristocrat: I don't really think you can pidgeonhole it that easily

Tess Aristocrat: I think it varies from person to person
Lucinda Lavender: yes
Tess Aristocrat: for one person to dream of a horse may mean one thing and something totally different to someone else

Tess Aristocrat: Dreams are personal..we can only find the secrets they hold by looking inward ㋡
Lucinda Lavender: inward is one way ... I was exposed to teaching about dreaming in which it was a different view....inward is true part of the time and something outside as well...and perhaps the whole world has an influence upon the dream...
Tess Aristocrat: I don't know..there are just so many things I still have to learn ㋡
Lucinda Lavender: this is because of learning to see that we get access to others dreams as well
