Yakuzza Lethecus: outburst of the change ?
Alfred Kelberry: ok, that was nice
    Alfred Kelberry: thank you, yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am missing wol, aga, kori
    Yakuzza Lethecus: /wave
Alfred Kelberry: btw, yaku. whatsapp isn't very secure. they use imei number for password, which is trivial to acquire given physical access to the phone.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i never really used it myself, my siblings and a couple of ppl i know are using it
    Bruce Mowbray: Here comes Kori.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i was just experimenting with it on the laptop but annoyed when i could only activate it on a single device

    --BELL--

Alfred Kelberry: well, i do rather extensively. it's a nice app.
Yakuzza Lethecus: as long as you have a dataplan
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey kori
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hrrrrr
    Yakuzza Lethecus: the she disapears
Alfred Kelberry: unlimited dataplan is a rather standard now
    Alfred Kelberry: kori girl :)
    Korel Laloix: HEya... smiles
    Alfred Kelberry: how's school?
Korel Laloix: Going to be a painful but good semester.
Korel Laloix: Lots of thinking, not so much writing.
Alfred Kelberry: do people bring their puppies to class?
Korel Laloix: Puppies to class? You mean like service animals?
    Wol Euler: evening all
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey wol :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think boxy want´s that you take him to class with you :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Wol!
    Wol Euler: arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
    Bruce Mowbray: Shiver me timbers.
    Korel Laloix: OH... lol... sorry
Alfred Kelberry: kori, i mean this: http://i.imgur.com/57Wm2.jpg
    Alfred Kelberry: woly :)
Korel Laloix: That sounds cold Bruce.
Korel Laloix: No, not that then.
    Korel Laloix smiles
Bruce Mowbray: Yeppers -- the shiver part -- sure does.
Korel Laloix: How about warm my timbers?.. sounds more civilized.
Bruce Mowbray: Warm my timbers. . . . Hmmmm. Worth considering. Will need to change some lines in R.L. Stevenson's novels, in that case.
    Bruce Mowbray: evryone ready?
Korel Laloix: No idea what you are talking about... but I will take your word for it.
    Bruce Mowbray: onigokko
    Alfred Kelberry: kori?
    Wol Euler: hehehe
    Korel Laloix: stop
    Bruce Mowbray: stop
    Alfred Kelberry: kori, thank you
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Korel Laloix: One of these days, PaB will mature.
    Wol Euler: not on fridays
Korel Laloix: I will drag it up slowly but surely... smiles
Bruce Mowbray: Running in circles is a good way to warm one's timbers, I've found.
Korel Laloix: If they are very large circles.
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Korel Laloix: Like two miles circumphrence.
Bruce Mowbray: You run those all the time, don't you Kori?
Alfred Kelberry: what are your thoughts on the state of pab as per the sunday meeting?
Bruce Mowbray: Two hour meeting on Sun.
Korel Laloix: Well, my normal patterns are like a giraffe
    Bruce Mowbray: like a giraffe???
    Wol Euler listens curiously
Korel Laloix: That is teh way the trails and roads work out.
Wol Euler: ... and the giraffe enters into it how?
Alfred Kelberry: please explain yourself :)
Alfred Kelberry: please, get ready to greet pila!
Bruce Mowbray: Runs around CERN centrifuge with head extended very far out on neck?
Korel Laloix: My trails sort of look like a Giraffe when you plot it out on a map.
    Alfred Kelberry: pila san! :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey pila :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Pila!

    --BELL--

    Yakuzza Lethecus: and eos
    Pila Mulligan: greetings
    Wol Euler: hello eos
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Eos!
Wol Euler: oh I see :) funny
    Eos Amaterasu: ( :-) )
Alfred Kelberry: pab has just gained 50 points of maturity :)
Korel Laloix: It is a mall start.
    Eos Amaterasu: hi beings
    Bruce Mowbray maturity in poundage.
    Wol Euler: pwnage
Alfred Kelberry: i still don't get the giraffe graph, but... anyhow :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Poundage sterling.
Alfred Kelberry: kori, how do we apply it to the pab situation?
Bruce Mowbray thinks the giraffe graph might have been a gaff.
Korel Laloix: Not a visual person boxy?
    Korel Laloix: lol
Wol Euler: boxy, when plotted on a map her route looks like the outline of a giraffe
    Wol Euler: funny, bruce
Alfred Kelberry: kori... it depends on a concept :)
Bruce Mowbray ponders the outline of a giraffe.
    Bruce Mowbray: from the front.
Eos Amaterasu: seems like it was a giraffe of an outline
    Korel Laloix smiles
Alfred Kelberry: woly: yes, but was it not said in relation to pab and sunday meeting?
Eos Amaterasu: as routed thru Boxy's perceptual apparatus™
Korel Laloix: Think we might need to get a giraffe pinata for the pavillion.
Bruce Mowbray: Sunday morning meeting -- regarding PaB structures.
    Eos Amaterasu: an architectural meeting?
Bruce Mowbray: Might be reducing the number of Fountain sessions per day.....
Bruce Mowbray: response to Pema's concerns about things.
Wol Euler: no, boxy, it wasn't :)
Wol Euler: at least I understood it not to be
Alfred Kelberry: i think two per day is enough
    Alfred Kelberry: woly, ok :)
Bruce Mowbray: 2 per day -- one for each hemisphere, then?
    Alfred Kelberry: sort of
Eos Amaterasu: might be interesting to see if there's a way to have groups of people gravitate to time slots, and then bless some of those as "blest"
Alfred Kelberry: it's easy - drop those without guardians/attendance
    Korel Laloix: or blessed
Wol Euler: 1pm seems pretty stable, probably fails least often
Bruce Mowbray loves "sort of" as hypothetical structure for proceeding logically with any subject.
Eos Amaterasu: yeah, early happy hour for N.A.
Wol Euler: not that simple, boxy, some without guardian are well attended
Yakuzza Lethecus: 1pm only drops every tuesday
Korel Laloix: Sort of is sort of powerful in how it lets you not draw lines.
Wol Euler: true, yaku, the dream session
Bruce Mowbray: 1 p.m. works well with moi -- late afternoon in eastern US. . . . But does NOT want that to dictate behavior all over the world.
Wol Euler: we could move the guardian session itself up to 7am on Sunday, since that is curently unguarded IIRC
Eos Amaterasu: what are your favorite slots, Wol?
Wol Euler: the 1pm and my own 1am sessions are the only ones I can attend
Wol Euler: 7am is middle of the working afternoon for me, 7pm is 4am
Bruce Mowbray: 7 am on Sundays would work well with moi, also.
Eos Amaterasu: so 1 pm is a keeper
Bruce Mowbray: 1 pm sounds like a keeper, for sure.
Pila Mulligan: maybe there is some kind of online polling system where everyone could give possible and preferred times
Wol Euler: I would say so, except perhaps tuesday
Alfred Kelberry: it's the attendance that is pivotal, not guardian presence
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Tuesday is for sharing dreams.
Wol Euler: my point boxy :)
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, ok :)
Alfred Kelberry: pila, it won't work, cause most people don't care :)
Bruce Mowbray ponders Pila's new-found ability to levitate.
Pila Mulligan: well, that could be a problem
    Eos Amaterasu: ™
    Bruce Mowbray: Icare.
Korel Laloix: I care.. but my RL does not.
Bruce Mowbray: also I ---- care.
Korel Laloix: No reguard for anything like a schedule.
Eos Amaterasu: diff between spontaneous assembly of peeps and a guardian session is....
Wol Euler: ... a good question
    Eos Amaterasu listens
Wol Euler: perhaps we might also consider (as Eliza suggested) simply not recording / publishing certain meetings
Wol Euler: that would solve the problem of having no guardian presence
Eos Amaterasu: No guardian no _claimed_ recording
Bruce Mowbray: So, if no gaurdian who is willing to claim the session present, then no recording and to wiki entry.
    Bruce Mowbray: snap.
Wol Euler: as a suggestoin to consider, yes
Bruce Mowbray: no* wiki entry, sry.
    Alfred Kelberry: i agree, woly
Eos Amaterasu: upcoming 90 seconds is a pinata....
Eos Amaterasu: and you're in it?
Alfred Kelberry: my big proposal is to gradually move operations to la sakura

    --BELL--

Alfred Kelberry: there's a lot of overlap in what kire does with pab

This is, in point of fact, not true.

Eos Amaterasu: discovery: it doesn't matter if the pinata is burst or not
Alfred Kelberry: she's present, doing research, and a point of gravity
Wol Euler: I don't see the *place* where we meet as being the problem at issue, boxy
Wol Euler: are you suggesting there would be more willing guardians if we didn't meet in the Playgoda?
Alfred Kelberry: it's not about the place, but environment
    Dermatek Resident: Hi all.
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Derm!!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello erlik
    Wol Euler: hello erlik
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Erlik
    Pila Mulligan: hi Erlik
Dermatek Resident: Hope you all doing good
Bruce Mowbray has never understood where everyone else gets this "Erlik" from....
    Pila Mulligan: and you
Dermatek Resident: Fine thank you =)
    Dermatek Resident: Tis my nickname.
Wol Euler: that#s his screen name, bruce :) perhaps you have them switched off in preferences
Bruce Mowbray: But how to they know that?
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Wol Euler: because if you don#t switch them off, they are visible :)
    Bruce Mowbray: HGmmm.
Bruce Mowbray will check that out.
Eos Amaterasu: the question is in a way where does the adventure go....
Eos Amaterasu: (and what is the adventure....)
    Wol Euler listens to eos
Eos Amaterasu: it's like Winnie the Pooh looking for the North Pole
    Wol Euler smiles.
Bruce Mowbray: AHHH! Just got "Erlik" to show. Thanks!
    Wol Euler: yw :)
    Eos Amaterasu: bruce is enlightened
    Dermatek Resident: =)
Bruce Mowbray: Bruce - the enlightened pirate.
Bruce Mowbray: with his enlightened fish.
Alfred Kelberry: i see la sakura as a spiritual continuation of pab, which is clearly in decline
Eos Amaterasu: boxy, what are the qualities of La Sakura that suggest to you it would be a good/better home for PaB?
    Bruce Mowbray listens carefully.
Wol Euler wonders how Boxy knows that, since he was not at any of the La Sakura meetings so far.
Alfred Kelberry: it's active. kire's present in sl and doing research.
    Wol Euler: yes, and ?
Wol Euler: I respectfully suggest that you are making unfounded assumptoins about what happens there, and what its purpose is
Alfred Kelberry: and on the other hand, we have non present pema, poor attendance and lack of guardians
Wol Euler: for what it's worth, I think that Original Face is much closer to being a continuation and survival of PaB
Eos Amaterasu: if non-present Pema is an issue, that's not a good sign for PaB
Alfred Kelberry: yes, cal seems to be putting a lot of effort into it
Eos Amaterasu: it's good to have lots of experiments blooming
Alfred Kelberry: sadly, there's no such person at pab to continue the journey
Bruce Mowbray: But by the nature of its structure -- only eight avis can participate -- Original Face cannot and should not be a replacement for regular PaB.

    --BELL--

    Alfred Kelberry: bruce, good point
Bruce Mowbray: Sry -- I am agreed to meet Santoshima at this hour -- must now be adieu.
Wol Euler: bye bruce, take care
    Pila Mulligan: bye Bruce
    Alfred Kelberry: ahoy!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye bruce
Bruce Mowbray: May you all walk in beauty and joy.
Eos Amaterasu: Ciao Bruce and all....
Pila Mulligan also slips away, bye for now
Wol Euler: actually I too should move on, it's been a tiring day
Wol Euler: goodngiht all, take care
    Yakuzza Lethecus: goodnight
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
Alfred Kelberry: maybe i shouldn't have brought up this topic :)
    Korel Laloix: I was good.
Yakuzza Lethecus: well it is important
Yakuzza Lethecus: the structural issue around pab concerns everyone
Alfred Kelberry: yes, but pab traditionally avoids inconvenient questions. it should be all about play and joy and peace.
Yakuzza Lethecus: and the research part and experimental part around the kira cafe facinated me and made me stick to it when i first found it
Alfred Kelberry: hardly anyone wants to face reality
Yakuzza Lethecus: created a first level of gravity and the community keept me in orbit
Alfred Kelberry: this is the stuff of the past, yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: exactly
Yakuzza Lethecus: but not the second part
Alfred Kelberry: it's still impressive how long did it last
Alfred Kelberry: a long time in sl terms
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s still going on :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: the community is still there
Korel Laloix: Back to RL.. ciao all.
Alfred Kelberry: be good, kori :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: have a good day kori
Alfred Kelberry: i mean pab as pema's child
Alfred Kelberry: and yes, the community is what actually kept it together, not pab teaching
Yakuzza Lethecus: i agree, we aren´t discussing the last 90 seconds that often anymore
Alfred Kelberry: i think most people will have a hard time explaining what this teaching actually is :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well is it teaching ? observing
Yakuzza Lethecus: and having a community who cares about communicating such experiences
Yakuzza Lethecus: not that i talk to much about own experiences, still there are some ppl in the community i verymuch admire in doing so
Yakuzza Lethecus: eos, pila, pema, wol ...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: many more
    Yakuzza Lethecus: even you :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: you point out ur observation concerning the structure of this group

    --BELL--

Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i´ll go to sleep too now, rest well boxy and erkik
Alfred Kelberry: observing, yes... but it is in essence pema's personal quest i spirituality. this observation has been through his findings and ideas.
    Alfred Kelberry: auf, yaku :)
Alfred Kelberry: i'll be off as well
Alfred Kelberry: sweet anarchy to you, erlik :)
