Well-fed, sleepy, and foot-weary from their bridge climbs and rainy piazza walks in Venice, Aphrodite, Yaku, and Wol beamed up travellers' content to a large group at the pavilion clustered to connect with their adventures.

Wol Euler: fortunately not, but it might get here overnight
Wol Euler: I was surprised to see how much difference rain made to the water level
Mickorod Renard: yikes, them puddles in Venice are always pretty big anyway
Wol Euler: a half hour shower raised the water level in the Canale Grande by 50cm
Bruce Mowbray: Rain in San Marco Square is especially cool.
Mickorod Renard: clears the pigeons though
Bruce Mowbray: There's no land to absorb it -- so no where else for the rain to go except into the canals, I suppose.
