The Guardian for this meeting was Eliza Madrigal. The comments are by Eliza Madrigal.

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Storm :)
    Storm Nordwind: Hi!
Eliza Madrigal: nice to see you
Storm Nordwind: You too. I see there's a bunch of stuff hanging around - some in mid air some elsewhere
Eliza Madrigal: Szavanna had her first session today so there are lingering cushions from a playful setting :)
Eliza Madrigal: I see a talking stick hovering too
Eliza Madrigal: maybe from Cal's session last night
Storm Nordwind: Perhaps i should return them :)
Eliza Madrigal: maybe so - I don't think anyone can use the talking stick as is up there
Eliza Madrigal: without permissions and such
Eliza Madrigal: and Sza more than likely didn't see these - there were many things cleaned up :))

Eliza Madrigal: So tell me how everything is, Storm :)
Storm Nordwind: The world still appears to be here. And so do I. Beyond that, any isness is speculative ;)
Eliza Madrigal: speculative isness... must be something to unpack in that....
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Storm Nordwind: I've been a little poorly - probably a sinus infection - but recovering now
    Eliza Madrigal: sorry to hear
Storm Nordwind: And I've handed over the lands in Mieum to the group
Storm Nordwind: So the Village hall and the Kira Cafe are now on PaB land
Eliza Madrigal: how does that feel for you?

    --BELL--

Storm Nordwind: It's a mere accounting sleight of hand, so I feel nothing at all about it! :) There's more to do in sorting the Kuan Yin Terraces, but that is to come
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, it was my impression this included the Terraces... that was the center of my wonder
Storm Nordwind: basically I had 1/4 of a sim. The west part is the Terraces. The east part was mostly the Kira Cafe
Storm Nordwind: Now I have 1/8 sim and when sorted out that will be a substantial and needed cost reduction

Eliza Madrigal: when did you first purchase that land? Surely before I was in SL
Storm Nordwind: I first purchased the land where the Terraces is in 2007.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind: Then it expanded bit by bit
    Storm Nordwind: People donated land
Storm Nordwind: and some i bought cheaply
Storm Nordwind: Eventually I spread all over the southern part of the sim
Storm Nordwind: And was able to host the cafe
Eliza Madrigal nods - well, you've made very good use of it and that was generous
    Storm Nordwind smiles

Eliza Madrigal: and how for prim balances now?
Storm Nordwind: The Cafe borrowed prims from the Terraces
Storm Nordwind: But I sorted that yesterday
Storm Nordwind: I removed a lot of trees and replaced them with a few low prims ones
Storm Nordwind: And I compressed some of the prims in the Cafe
Eliza Madrigal: I love the trees in the area where I-Ching meets
Storm Nordwind: which was something I could not have done when I moved the Cafe there
Storm Nordwind: All the Terraces trees stay the same
Storm Nordwind: Just the trees around the Cafe have changed
    Eliza Madrigal: nice :)
Storm Nordwind: I'm using Fall versions of the La Sakura trees ;)

Eliza Madrigal: and Village Hall then still straddles two sims, so we're okay for seating when the flood of new guardians arrives
    Eliza Madrigal: ;-)
Storm Nordwind: haha yes... but please don't hold your breath in anticipation!
    Eliza Madrigal: :) ::exhales::::
Storm Nordwind: Both the hall and the Cafe are now self-sufficient in prims
Storm Nordwind: But I can still reduce some in the Cafe

Eliza Madrigal: So this is a good move for your financial health... and what of physical? do you take vitamins and such?
Storm Nordwind: haha - yes Mrs Storm ensure that I do! :)
    Eliza Madrigal: good for her!
Storm Nordwind: I'm actually fairly healthy for an old man ;)
Eliza Madrigal laughs and can't reconcile old and storm
Storm Nordwind: Well you have the bias of friendship specs ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: I was in a vitamin aisle with my son tonight... reading all the labels... he finds it very odd and expensive to work the balances
    Storm Nordwind: expensive?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh sure... if taking 'all' that would be a 'good idea'
Storm Nordwind: Yes. It suddenly becomes cheaper to eat well in the first place!
    Eliza Madrigal: true
Eliza Madrigal: but well, not to be crotchety but foods that used to suffice are quite watered down for nutrients in a lot of cases now
Eliza Madrigal: would take a lot!
Storm Nordwind: True. You need the luxury of the time to make stuff from scratch in order to ensure proper nutrition
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Eliza Madrigal: luxury of time
    Eliza Madrigal: or great situatedness
Eliza Madrigal: next door to farmer's market for instance :)
Storm Nordwind cooked a Mexican for dinner... and i had to catch him first
    Eliza Madrigal: :P
Eliza Madrigal happened to have a fajita tonight

Eliza Madrigal: What are you reading lately Storm?
Eliza Madrigal: (my chance to check up on you, hah)
Storm Nordwind: Funny you should ask... I was just about to order a couple of books...
Storm Nordwind: Something by Rita Gross and something by Jack Kornfield

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: similar themes?
Storm Nordwind: Yes. Each from different angles. They're about modern western reforms of Buddhism. Which is basically what I'm up to personally anyway.
Eliza Madrigal: fascinating - what are you particularly curious about?
Storm Nordwind: Well I'm interested in seeing how people have gone about it and how they have failed or succeeded. It's an inspiration. But...
Storm Nordwind: ...to be perfectly honest, justifications apart, if "someone" whispers in my ear that i should read something, I read it!
    Eliza Madrigal: best reason :)

Storm Nordwind: Would you think me very rude if I disappeared now. Lovely to see you!
Eliza Madrigal: not at all! :) I will turn in early tonight... but...
Eliza Madrigal: did want to recommend a film (though I've not seen it - will on Thurs)
    Eliza Madrigal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsara_(2011_film)
Storm Nordwind: Oh - please do
Eliza Madrigal: it looks beautiful - no words
Storm Nordwind: Cool. I'll look forward to your "report"!

Eliza Madrigal: :) Love to Mrs Storm and have a pleasant evening
    Storm Nordwind: You too!
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks :)
