    druth Vlodovic: hi cal
Calvino Rabeni: Good evening druth :)
    druth Vlodovic: how is things?
Calvino Rabeni: :) Well, they're all more or less hanging together
Calvino Rabeni: How about you ?
druth Vlodovic: "more or less" I suppose that is mostly good :)
    druth Vlodovic: reasonable
Calvino Rabeni: I like reasonable :)
druth Vlodovic: unreasonable has it's charms, but they wear thin after a bit
    Calvino Rabeni: yes it seems
druth Vlodovic: so this question mark over your head
druth Vlodovic: are you thinking, or confused?
Calvino Rabeni: Yes a period and question mark
Calvino Rabeni: Whatever could it mean?
druth Vlodovic: but you are ending before you question, an odd arrangement
Calvino Rabeni: Right, it could be interpreted in different ways
druth Vlodovic: how do you interpret it?
Calvino Rabeni: I've only thought about it a little
Calvino Rabeni: it could mean, that after an answer, comes another question
Calvino Rabeni: it could be about the idea of "dropping" in PaB, how that opens a space for the unknown
Calvino Rabeni: It could also mean "what's the point" :)
    druth Vlodovic: lol
druth Vlodovic: or why do we want a point?
    Calvino Rabeni: yes
Calvino Rabeni: It could mean "is that final?"
    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: hiya druth cal :))
    Calvino Rabeni: Hi Paradise :)
    druth Vlodovic: hi paradise
druth Vlodovic: I tried doing the drop on it and all I got was it's similarity to a hook :)
    Calvino Rabeni: hehe
Calvino Rabeni: when one door closes, another opens
Calvino Rabeni: The topic, Para, was ".?"
Calvino Rabeni: without the quotes, as they say
druth Vlodovic: I tried doing the drop on it and all I got was it's similarity to a hook :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
druth Vlodovic: catching at things and pulling them along, and apart
Paradise Tennant: makes me think of a light bulb
Calvino Rabeni wonders if dropping is the hook or the bait
    Calvino Rabeni: Light bulb yes
Calvino Rabeni: So light comes out from a point
Paradise Tennant: questions are a path :) towards light :)
Calvino Rabeni: It might say "finish one thing before you start another"
Calvino Rabeni: a kind of statement of multitasking - good luck with that :)
Calvino Rabeni: The period is the smallest symbol
Calvino Rabeni: For a long time I wore it alone
Paradise Tennant: circle .. combining both the answer and the question the whole :)
Calvino Rabeni: A bit curious for who would be curious about it
Calvino Rabeni: alas, the lone period went neglected for some time
Calvino Rabeni: so I decided if it collaborated with the question mark
Calvino Rabeni: it might learn to be a little more active
Calvino Rabeni: and invite ..well.. some inquiry
Calvino Rabeni: ... and today it did!
    Calvino Rabeni: :)
druth Vlodovic: it is rather final and definite in itself
druth Vlodovic: maybe when people saw it they thought you were done
Calvino Rabeni: Yes, do you think, too much so?
Calvino Rabeni: You could be right .. amongst the readers
Calvino Rabeni: or perhaps it was just a matter of smallness
druth Vlodovic: too unpretentious to be challenged
druth Vlodovic: too final to be assailed
Calvino Rabeni: Its ironic perhaps, that the smallest mark is the most pretentious
Calvino Rabeni: but I think that happens a lot in language
Calvino Rabeni: Less is quite often more
    druth Vlodovic: "no"
druth Vlodovic: not as small as "I"
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Calvino Rabeni: "I" seems to have "yes" and "no" within it
Calvino Rabeni: So is it bigger or smaller than "I"
Calvino Rabeni: (or does it) ?
Calvino Rabeni: The wily ways of language often bemuse and confuse
druth Vlodovic: I is a great stack of periods, standing on each other's heads
    druth Vlodovic: an ultimate declaration
    Calvino Rabeni: !
Calvino Rabeni: They go in a certain direction

    --BELL--
druth Vlodovic: poor you, balnced on a certainty
Calvino Rabeni: with a vertical bias like the spine
Paradise Tennant: starting to laugh now :)
    Calvino Rabeni: same
Paradise Tennant: we are whimsy :) in the shadow of the equinox :)
Calvino Rabeni: would that poor I feel better under the certainty?
    Calvino Rabeni: ¡
Paradise Tennant: maybe it is really just an o and doesn't know it yet :)
Calvino Rabeni: The equin@x makes me feel a bit dizzy :)
druth Vlodovic: it is held straight by what it thinks it knows
    Calvino Rabeni: nods yes
Paradise Tennant: smiles I should say thank you and good nite .. I have my brother .. staying with me and this computer is where he is trying to sleep. Soon there will be sighs .. and grumps..:) good luck with that willful I !
druth Vlodovic: good night paradise' briother!
    Calvino Rabeni: ¡ bye !
    druth Vlodovic: sweet dreams para
Paradise Tennant: namaste my friends :)) lol his head is under the pillow but I will tell him you said hello ::))
    druth Vlodovic: para- 1   1. a prefix appearing in loanwords from Greek, most often attached to verbs and verbal derivatives, with the meanings “at or to one side of, beside, side by side” ( parabola; paragraph; parallel; paralysis ), “beyond, past, by” ( paradox; paragogue );
    Calvino Rabeni: §
druth Vlodovic: I got to thinking I wlecomed paradise but said goodbye to para, and wasn't sure what that meant
druth Vlodovic: oddly fitting with the equinox
druth Vlodovic: and, of course, our line which could be used to mark the transition
Calvino Rabeni: I was saying - dise
Calvino Rabeni: it doesn't pass chat text, the paragraph mark
druth Vlodovic: language is both limiting and expanding, giving room for play
Calvino Rabeni: The equinox - is it a symbol of balance or of excess?
Calvino Rabeni: Yes play, freedom within constraint
druth Vlodovic: a momentary balance between extremes
druth Vlodovic: the pause in the world before momentum takes over and we swing around again
Calvino Rabeni: Yes, of the obvious (day vs night) there is a balance
Calvino Rabeni: but it's also the time of most rapid change
Calvino Rabeni: that's I think why it makes me dizzy
druth Vlodovic: then you feelmost stable when things are at their most extreme?
Calvino Rabeni: each day different from the previous, to a larger degree than any time in the season up to that point
Calvino Rabeni thinks, that might be true sometimes
    Calvino Rabeni: Hello Cinda :)
    druth Vlodovic: hi luci
Calvino Rabeni: How are things on the domestic front?
    druth Vlodovic: distant
    Calvino Rabeni: Nods
Calvino Rabeni: We may get our chance later
druth Vlodovic: our transitional period was insufficient to hold her
    Calvino Rabeni: hehe
    --BELL--

Calvino Rabeni: like the seasons, we loop around
Calvino Rabeni: distance is a way of drawing closer
    Lucinda Lavender: HI all
druth Vlodovic: she comes to rest on the bell
    Calvino Rabeni: Hi Cinda
    druth Vlodovic: hello again lavender
    Lucinda Lavender: very slow here
Calvino Rabeni: Is that a different "here" than usual?
Lucinda Lavender: no...sending from the kitchen
Lucinda Lavender: I must report...10 gallons of plum wine
    druth Vlodovic: nice!
druth Vlodovic: we must pay a visit
Calvino Rabeni: You read the ? from my thoughts
    Lucinda Lavender: cool
Calvino Rabeni: May 2012 be a good year
Lucinda Lavender: and many dried plums
Lucinda Lavender: and...a tart and a chutney
Lucinda Lavender: I think it is a very good year
Calvino Rabeni: You and W and that plum tree are very productive, I've always been impressed
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: thanks for the link:)
Lucinda Lavender: the sun going down tonight was a bright orange
Lucinda Lavender: and now it is dark
Calvino Rabeni: It feels odd to be dark so early
    Lucinda Lavender: yes it does
Lucinda Lavender: thanks for the plums!
Calvino Rabeni: Glad they found a good home
Lucinda Lavender: needed to say thinks
    Lucinda Lavender: thanks
Calvino Rabeni: there are some great looking pears at the top of the tree ... I think a ladder and some daring would be required to get them
Calvino Rabeni: but they do look tempting
Lucinda Lavender: yes...get up there then I guess
Lucinda Lavender: druth...what were you all talking about till I came plummin in?
druth Vlodovic: now I know I'm missing something
druth Vlodovic: question marks, oddly enough
Calvino Rabeni: plum wine for one, druth
druth Vlodovic: but then cal has that effect on me
druth Vlodovic: how do you procure pears from a plum tree?
    Lucinda Lavender: ah....
Calvino Rabeni: No can do ... well anyway not on this one... but the grove has several fruits
    Lucinda Lavender: you don't:)
Lucinda Lavender: there is a lovely grove
    Lucinda Lavender: pear, plum etc
Calvino Rabeni: I'm not sure if a plum branch could be drafted onto a pear tree, or vice versa
Calvino Rabeni: the pear tree has different types on it
Calvino Rabeni: There used to be an apple
Calvino Rabeni: and a "smoke" tree
Lucinda Lavender: what is a smoke tree?
    Calvino Rabeni: https://www.google.com/search?q=smoke+tree
Calvino Rabeni: it has a very fragrant hardwood
    Calvino Rabeni: incens-y
    Calvino Rabeni: http://www.ifimages.com/photos/LbM268jiazMX4y2s8SemiXQFpGI/author-730/Pink-smoke-tree-smoketree-Anacardiaceae.jpg
Calvino Rabeni: (not sure about the links)
    druth Vlodovic: poufy
    --BELL--

    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
Calvino Rabeni: There are some new kids on the block ... not sure if you noticed ... HENS
    druth Vlodovic: 'night guys
Calvino Rabeni: Good night druth, dream well :)
    Lucinda Lavender: hens where?
Calvino Rabeni: Maybe you know .. I'm not the urban farmer, but are there certain types of hens that are really loud, or is it something else?
    Lucinda Lavender: night druth!!
Lucinda Lavender: no they can be quite loud
Lucinda Lavender: not sure if it is a certain type
Calvino Rabeni: About 30 meters from the fruit tree, over the fence
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!
Lucinda Lavender: shall we go to my box to see if it would work? to have a dream circle there?
Calvino Rabeni: What would the signs be of it working well?
Lucinda Lavender: not sure...if people can see heach other
    Lucinda Lavender: see each other
Lucinda Lavender: and you might tell me how passing the talking stick works for you
    Lucinda Lavender: I forget
    Calvino Rabeni: How it works?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: if you are not too busy
    Calvino Rabeni: dinner's almost ready
    Lucinda Lavender: ok
    Lucinda Lavender: another time then
Calvino Rabeni: what would you like to know about the T.S. ?
Lucinda Lavender: do you actually pass it to someone else?
Calvino Rabeni: It's an SL object, you put it in the center of the circle, and then one person at a time can touch it
Calvino Rabeni: when you touch it, if it isn't in use, it stands up, and your name hovers over it
Calvino Rabeni: touch it again and it lies down in the center again
Calvino Rabeni: so it doesn't get actually moved from avatar to avatar
Calvino Rabeni: it's easy to just touch it
Calvino Rabeni: and easy to see who has it
Lucinda Lavender: ok...I will try that later with this one I am holding
Lucinda Lavender: how do you place it in the middle
Lucinda Lavender: insead of wearing it
Calvino Rabeni: There's a nice native american themed sim for meetings, but I don't think you could rez the stick there without getting permission ... you can put it anywhere in this sim
Calvino Rabeni: well its a SL object, you just drag it from inventory onto the ground
Calvino Rabeni: then edit its position
    Lucinda Lavender: ok great!
Lucinda Lavender: I can handle that
Calvino Rabeni: I need to go, but I can help you set it up when you decide where to hold the circle
    Lucinda Lavender: ok
Lucinda Lavender: talk with me more about it soon...
Calvino Rabeni: Take care, and happy fermenting :)
    Lucinda Lavender: just getting input
Lucinda Lavender: ok bye for now
Calvino Rabeni: Nods ok let me know how it goes
Calvino Rabeni: bye for now !
