[13:10] Wol Euler: hello mick
[13:10] Mickorod Renard: hi Wol
[13:10] Mickorod Renard: how are you?
[13:10] Mickorod Renard: a bit snowy here
[13:10] Wol Euler: tired but otherwise fine, thanks
[13:10] Wol Euler: and yourself?
[13:11] Mickorod Renard: great
[13:11] Wol Euler smiles.
[13:11] Wol Euler: glad to hear that
[13:11] Mickorod Renard: I feel much better than I have done,, I had a bad touch of the flu
[13:11] Wol Euler: oh, glad to hear you are over that
[13:11] Wol Euler touches wood.
[13:12] Wol Euler: hello eliza
[13:12] Eliza Madrigal: snow storm!
[13:12] Wol Euler grins.
[13:12] Mickorod Renard: yea, I feel much better, but at the time I felt as bad as I have ever done
[13:12] Mickorod Renard: Hi Eliza
[13:12] Wol Euler: nasty
[13:12] Mickorod Renard: they sent me to hospital
[13:12] Wol Euler: wow
[13:12] Eliza Madrigal: oh dear Mick
[13:13] Mickorod Renard: but I got fed up and discharged myself
[13:13] Wol Euler raises an eyebrow.
[13:13] Wol Euler: I hope you will at least take all of the pills you were given
[13:13] Wol Euler: (assuming you were)
[13:13] Mickorod Renard: I did,,that is a first
[13:13] Wol Euler: good
[13:13] Wol Euler: the world does not need more antibiotic-resistant germs
[13:14] Wol Euler: I'm very aware of that since my father was in hospital for a week
[13:14] Mickorod Renard: I have managed to avoid anti biotics for about 45 years
[13:14] Mickorod Renard: yes?
[13:14] Wol Euler: everyone whom my mother spoke to about it said "get him out of there before he catches pneumonia and dies"
[13:16] Mickorod Renard: it was when they wanted to take me onto the ward that I discharged myself...I came to the same conclusion
[13:16] Qt Core: Hi all
[13:16] Wol Euler: buona sera, qt
[13:16] Mickorod Renard: Hi Qt
[13:16] Eliza Madrigal waves hello to Qt
[13:17] Wol Euler: there's actually a word for diseases that one catches in a hospital/clinic
[13:17] Eliza Madrigal: is there...
[13:17] Mickorod Renard: yes?
[13:17] Wol Euler tries to remember
[13:18] Mickorod Renard: one advantage of it is that I have packed up smoking
[13:18] Wol Euler: "nosocomial infection"
[13:18] Wol Euler: ah, that is good -- or is it? I know you enjoyed your cigars
[13:18] Mickorod Renard: I will try and remember that when bump into my doc,,and she wants to know what I was doing
[13:19] Mickorod Renard: well,,I think I am glad I have given up,,for about 3 or 4 weeks now
[13:19] Eliza Madrigal: Oh Mick, excellent
[13:19] Wol Euler nods.
[13:19] Mickorod Renard: ty
[13:20] Mickorod Renard: I was never a big smoker,,just for fun one
[13:21] Wol Euler: that probably makes quitting a lot easier
[13:21] Wol Euler: I watched several friends trying to quit, over decades
[13:21] Mickorod Renard: maybe, but I have smoked cigars for nearly 40 years,,so its a shock to my system
[13:21] Wol Euler: heh, that is a lot of "fun" :)
[13:21] Eliza Madrigal: yes... take good care of yourself
[13:22] Eliza Madrigal: I think smoking might be even harder for someone who thinks it isn't a bad habit for them... especially as built up over 40 years
[13:22] Mickorod Renard: I have lost two dear friends to lung cancer,,already
[13:22] Eliza Madrigal: I watched my mom struggle and struggle and it wasn't until she was in hospital that she actually gave it up
[13:22] Wol Euler nods.
[13:22] Eliza Madrigal: and that with a lot of help, my sister getting rid of everything that was a reminder in the house while she was gone, etc
[13:23] Eliza Madrigal: sad that it takes us a scare sometimes to change things eh
[13:23] Wol Euler: mmhmm
[13:23] Mickorod Renard: I cant avoid it,,and am doing it without help or patches
[13:24] Mickorod Renard: in fact,,,people seem to be trying to stress me out on purpose I think
[13:24] Wol Euler: hehehehehe
[13:24] Mickorod Renard: :))
[13:24] Eliza Madrigal: >boo<
[13:24] Eliza Madrigal: :)
[13:24] Wol Euler: well, we are coming up to christmas, it is a stressful time even without quitting smoking
[13:24] Eliza Madrigal: I quit a long time ago, and had kids as incentive... but I was a sporadic smoker - I used new agey techniques :)
[13:25] Wol Euler: oh?
[13:25] Mickorod Renard: mmmm I wondered about patches
[13:25] Eliza Madrigal: yes, I realized that I needed to get the image of myself as a smoker out of my mind
[13:25] Eliza Madrigal: write a different story
[13:25] Mickorod Renard: ahh,,hypnosis?
[13:25] Wol Euler: ah
[13:25] Eliza Madrigal: sort of a self hypnosis
[13:25] Eliza Madrigal: and I did it while walking around a vitacourse
[13:25] Mickorod Renard: I think I do that all the time
[13:26] Eliza Madrigal: would be smoking, but say to myself "I'm not a smoker" and silly things like that :P
[13:26] Eliza Madrigal: but one day it just dropped off
[13:26] Wol Euler nods.
[13:26] Mickorod Renard: yes, I have to tell myself that it was the one thing that controlled me
[13:26] Eliza Madrigal: walking is amazing to work things out with
[13:26] Mickorod Renard: that is my incentive
[13:27] Mickorod Renard: I like to be out of control
[13:28] Mickorod Renard: one thing hat is wierd at the moment,,is that I am sleeping like a log,,and for much longer
[13:28] Eliza Madrigal: interesting
[13:28] Mickorod Renard: yes
[13:28] Mickorod Renard: when I was poorly I slept straight for nearly 4 days
[13:32] Wol Euler: perhaps the flip side of that is also true: perhaps being tired made you more likely to get sick?
[13:32] Wol Euler: hello ara
[13:32] Qt Core: Hi Ara
[13:32] Eliza Madrigal: Hello Ara :)
[13:32] Mickorod Renard: thats a thought Wol
[13:33] Mickorod Renard: Hi Ara
[13:33] arabella Ella: Hiya everyone!
[13:33] Wol Euler: it certainly works that way for me#
[13:33] Mickorod Renard: mmmmm,,u need to watch out then,,cos it sounds like ur getting tired
[13:33] Wol Euler nods.
[13:34] Wol Euler: I know, it's true
[13:34] Wol Euler: I sent the boss off to bed this evening, ordered him out of the office
[13:34] Wol Euler: and will do the same for myself
[13:34] arabella Ella: so what happens to me tonight if I feel very tired?
[13:34] Wol Euler: you fall asleep? :)
[13:35] Mickorod Renard: Wol was suggesting that u may get ill if u r tred
[13:35] Mickorod Renard: like fatigued maybe
[13:35] Wol Euler: being perma-tired makes one more likely to become ill, or to feel depressed
[13:35] Wol Euler: hello xs
[13:35] arabella Ella: ah ok then one's resitance to bugs is low
[13:35] Wol Euler: exactly
[13:35] arabella Ella: Hiya Andreee!
[13:35] Eliza Madrigal: hello Xs
[13:35] Xs Andree waves
[13:35] arabella Ella: how lovely the snow is here!
[13:35] Mickorod Renard: Hi Xs
[13:35] Xs Andree: Hello everyone.
[13:36] Qt Core: Hi Xs
[13:37] Wol Euler: welcome to the club, xs :)
[13:37] Eliza Madrigal: :::claps::::
[13:37] Xs Andree hugs all around. How is everyone?
[13:38] arabella Ella: hugs to you too Andree ... and everyone else here too of course :)
[13:38] Wol Euler: fine thanks, and yourself?
[13:38] arabella Ella: I'm fine thanks after a long day and how are you?
[13:38] Mickorod Renard: well thankyou,,hugs to you too
[13:38] Xs Andree: Very interesting things irl.
[13:38] arabella Ella: cool
[13:38] Eliza Madrigal listens
[13:38] Xs Andree: Sorry I haven't been around much, just very busy with struff, most of it rl.
[13:39] Eliza Madrigal: tis fine... everyone comes and goes in waves of attendance
[13:39] Mickorod Renard: whats interesting?
[13:39] Eliza Madrigal: yes would love to hear
[13:40] Wol Euler listens.
[13:40] Xs Andree: Seeing more evidence of reversed entropy, very unlikely events unfolding that seem more natural when you think of them backward. Precognition, dreams, manifesting things into reality, telekinesis, dream interpretation, past life regressions...
[13:41] Eliza Madrigal: you are following through this with writings?
[13:41] arabella Ella: that sounds like a whole lifetime's achievement to me :)
[13:41] Mickorod Renard: Xs,,thgats amazing
[13:41] Wol Euler smiles.
[13:41] Xs Andree: My journals are lagging recently. I haven't had much time at all.
[13:41] Mickorod Renard: I have often thought on the same lines
[13:42] Eliza Madrigal: have you read Uji?
[13:42] Xs Andree: no, I haven't.
[13:43] arabella Ella: is Uji an author?
[13:43] Wol Euler: don't know the name
[13:43] Eliza Madrigal: Dogen is the author
[13:43] Eliza Madrigal: http://www.nozt.org/teachings/eduji.shtml
[13:43] Eliza Madrigal: the "Time-Being"
[13:44] Eliza Madrigal: as though it is perfectly natural for time to move from future to present to past - just a shifted way of seeing
[13:44] Mickorod Renard: also everything makes sense when viewed backwards
[13:44] arabella Ella nods
[13:44] Wol Euler: oh, thank you eliza. *reads*
[13:45] Mickorod Renard: I often do stuff backwards,,,,,,like reverse engineering
[13:47] Xs Andree: you know that is one of the most mundane and concrete examples I can think of reversed entropy
[13:47] Xs Andree: Reverse engineering something
[13:47] Eliza Madrigal: is quite long Wol but recommend for 'later' :))
[13:47] Wol Euler: indeed :) noted
[13:47] Eliza Madrigal smiles
[13:47] Xs Andree: lol i was thinking the same thing as I read through it.
[13:48] Mickorod Renard: I may have a peek,,,after I have looked into something Ara gave me to read
[13:48] Eliza Madrigal: so walk us through a typical reverse engineering process Mick?
[13:48] Xs Andree: Does anyone else have the feeling something important is coming soon?
[13:49] arabella Ella: yes
[13:49] Wol Euler: christmas! holiday!! finishing the damned competitions!!!!!!
[13:49] Wol Euler: so, yes
[13:49] Wol Euler smiles.
[13:49] Eliza Madrigal: :)
[13:49] Xs Andree: ㋡
[13:49] arabella Ella: and i get the feeling some people in power may have an indication of what it may be!
[13:49] arabella Ella: (not related to christmas or holidays)
[13:49] Mickorod Renard: well, u put me on the spot,,it doesnt come that easy,,,Eliza
[13:50] Eliza Madrigal: I can't answer... I am so the type to say yes, but then as a friend told me once "Whatever book you are reading is your absolute favorite" :P
[13:50] Wol Euler grins.
[13:50] Xs Andree: I have a feeling...of multiple possibilities, of worlds splitting apart, doorways opening, of desire and higher dimensions.
[13:50] Mickorod Renard: basically,,u look at something that that exists, and then evaluate what , how and why,,and its construction etc
[13:50] arabella Ella: yes me too but i feel that before there may be some pain and suffering
[13:51] arabella Ella: (my reply to previous question)
[13:51] Eliza Madrigal: take in the whole something, mick then unpack... ah, I see
[13:51] Eliza Madrigal: ty
[13:52] Mickorod Renard: I seem to have picked up on the idea it may be the end of the world
[13:52] Eliza Madrigal: I will say though, that some big mysteries that seemed overwhelming to me have felt to more easily unravel/make sense lately.. but that's just personally, like a sense of openness about people sharing
[13:52] Xs Andree: The beginning is near
[13:52] Xs Andree nods to Eliza
[13:52] Xs Andree: Me too, things that have eluded me most of my life seem very simple.
[13:52] Mickorod Renard: yes, I have come to the conclusion that whatever is would be a new adventure of sorts
[13:53] Eliza Madrigal: Ara's concerns are well-founded too I think... after elections I get antsy - wonder what agendas were waiting
[13:53] arabella Ella: I too expect some new beginning but I also expect (regretfully) some tragedy beforehand
[13:54] arabella Ella: not end of the world though
[13:54] Mickorod Renard: I think the only adgenda is how can the rich get richer
[13:54] arabella Ella: more like a huge trial
[13:54] Xs Andree: I'm not very politically motivated at this point in time, something tells me that conspiracies and the like aren't going to be so important anymore.
[13:54] Xs Andree: or material wealth
[13:55] arabella Ella thinks that would be nice ...
[13:55] Eliza Madrigal: I was behind a car yesterday which had a sticker "rapture ready" giggles
[13:55] Eliza Madrigal: and I thought, if there wasn't so much baggage with the word, that's a pretty nice thought
[13:55] Xs Andree: I'm not as ready to ridicule that idea
[13:56] Xs Andree: yeah, right.
[13:56] Xs Andree: exactly.
[13:56] arabella Ella: what does it mean Eliza as I have never heard that expression before?
[13:57] Eliza Madrigal: ohh...
[13:57] Eliza Madrigal: rapture really only means "caught up" I think
[13:57] Mickorod Renard: the rapture bit
[13:57] Wol Euler: taken up to heaven, leaving the sinners here
[13:57] Eliza Madrigal: however it is a teaching some have used to describe some people being left and some being taken in the end times
[13:57] Mickorod Renard: i wont be going anywhere then
[13:57] arabella Ella: oh i see
[13:57] Wol Euler: capital-R Rapture
[13:57] Eliza Madrigal: however, rapture could also describe "awakening"
[13:57] arabella Ella: american for end of the world stuff
[13:58] Xs Andree: It is like a sudden ascension of several people at once, previous to a time of great trial for the rest of the world.
[13:58] Eliza Madrigal: and in that sense every religious tradition has rapture in it
[13:58] Eliza Madrigal: for mystics anyway
[13:58] Wol Euler: lower-case R, yes :)
[13:58] Eliza Madrigal: :)
[13:58] Eliza Madrigal: yes
[13:58] Wol Euler: and a lot of music
[13:58] Xs Andree: (rapture)
[13:58] Wol Euler: and some novels
[13:58] Eliza Madrigal: petite morte perhaps :)
[13:58] arabella Ella: oh ok mystical rapture i think i can understand
[13:58] Mickorod Renard: arrrrrr
[13:58] Wol Euler: heheheh, that too :)
[13:59] Xs Andree: well I have to get ready for a meeting tonight with some friends. You all take care.
[13:59] Xs Andree: I love you
[13:59] Wol Euler: bye xs, take care
[14:00] Eliza Madrigal: Iove you Xs
[14:00] Qt Core: Bye Xs
[14:00] arabella Ella: bye Andree
[14:00] arabella Ella: Hey Qt how are you?
[14:00] Mickorod Renard: I came to the conclusion the other week,,that all living beings must believe they are having fun or they wouldnt want to live. so therefore all forms of existance would be bliss,,even being a tree or blade of grass
[14:01] Mickorod Renard: ok,,I am off home,,bye for now
[14:01] arabella Ella: bye Mick
[14:01] Eliza Madrigal waves to Mick
[14:01] Wol Euler: bye mick, stay healthy
[14:01] Eliza Madrigal: be well
[14:01] Qt Core: surviving the winter start, ara, you ?
[14:01] Qt Core: bye Mick
[14:01] arabella Ella: not too bad winter started late here and i only started using a heater yesterday but now it is cold
[14:01] arabella Ella: around 13 degrees today so very cold
[14:01] Wol Euler scoffs.
[14:02] arabella Ella: and wet
[14:02] arabella Ella: he he
[14:02] Qt Core: just ten more than here...
[14:02] Eliza Madrigal: :) no comment
[14:02] Wol Euler: snow on the ground here
[14:02] Eliza Madrigal smiles... grass has been the theme for me today - sunshine played a song, grass features strongly in uji, and mick mentions now :)
[14:02] arabella Ella: really Wol and Christmas markets?
[14:02] Wol Euler: mmhmm, opened on the weekend
[14:02] arabella Ella: nice
[14:02] Wol Euler: haven't been yet :)
[14:02] Wol Euler: jno time
[14:03] arabella Ella: glue wine and sausages yummy!
[14:03] arabella Ella: and sour kraut
[14:03] Eliza Madrigal: glue wine?
[14:03] Wol Euler: probably go on the 18th, between handing in the competition and starting to pack
[14:03] arabella Ella: mulled wine (warm)
[14:03] Wol Euler: gluhwein, glowing wine
[14:03] Eliza Madrigal: ah :)) MM
[14:03] Eliza Madrigal: Glowing Wine... what a wonderful term
[14:03] Wol Euler smiles.
[14:04] Eliza Madrigal: time for tutoring with my son.... lovely to see you all
[14:04] Wol Euler: bye eliza, take care
[14:04] Qt Core: bye Eliza
[14:04] arabella Ella: bye Eliza
[14:04] Eliza Madrigal waves - keep warm and well and rested ^.^
[14:04] arabella Ella: i must go too good night everyone sweet dreams!
[14:04] Wol Euler: bye ara, take care
[14:05] Qt Core: bye Ara
[14:06] Qt Core: they say we may get snow tomorrow... but today we get one of the clearest sky in months
[14:06] Wol Euler: hmmm
[14:06] Wol Euler: parado
[14:06] Wol Euler: x
[14:06] Qt Core: windy with unobstructed view of the alps
[14:06] Wol Euler: but if it stays clear overnight, the temperature will drop, so perhaps it's true
[14:07] Wol Euler: the air here has been very clear too lately, surprisingly clear
[14:07] Wol Euler: actually the "snow" this morning was odd, very firm and granular
[14:08] Wol Euler: it looked more like hail, but there was no storm last night
[14:13] Qt Core: today my car got something wrong and will not start and i have no way to have it fixed at least until monday (tomorrow and saturday are festive here)... how much i feel i need to go here and there to places i don't really need to be at the moment
[14:13] Korel Laloix: heya
[14:13] Wol Euler: hello korel
[14:13] Qt Core: hi Korel
[14:13] Wol Euler smiles.
[14:14] Korel Laloix: NOt having options always makes you feel confined, even if you have nothing to do.
[14:15] Wol Euler nods.
[14:17] Korel Laloix: HOpe your care gets well soon.
[14:17] Korel Laloix: Recurent issue?
[14:17] Qt Core: no
[14:17] Korel Laloix: I would offer to help, but I am not even that sarcastic... smiles
[14:17] Wol Euler: heheh
[14:17] Wol Euler: or that close by :)
[14:18] Qt Core: ;-)
[14:18] Qt Core: i only know how to add gas and bring it to planned checkups for my car, never wanted to know more
[14:19] Korel Laloix: What kind do you have?
[14:19] Wol Euler: nor should you have to. Things should work properly
[14:19] Qt Core: traditionally men should know how to fiddle their cars
[14:20] Korel Laloix: I can do all the preventative on my honda.
[14:20] Korel Laloix: Up to changing the spark plugs.
[14:20] Korel Laloix: AFter that, I am lost.
[14:20] Qt Core: i got this (in this color): http://www.google.it/imgres?hl=en&sa...87&tx=38&ty=94
[14:20] Qt Core: ops
[14:20] Korel Laloix: But I can change the oil and the like.
[14:21] Korel Laloix: Never driven an opel
[14:22] Korel Laloix: Where are they made?
[14:22] Wol Euler: the company is originally German, but now american-owned
[14:23] Korel Laloix: OH... wonder if they sell them over here.
[14:23] Qt Core: should i know ? ;-) i thing german in origin gm now
[14:23] Wol Euler: I believe so, I think they are (still) part of GM
[14:23] Wol Euler: yep
[14:23] Qt Core: too small for usa, ;-)
[14:24] Wol Euler: heheh
[14:24] Wol Euler: don't waste enough gasoline :)
[14:24] Wol Euler: anyway, I must move on, I have errands to run and want to be in bed by midnight
[14:24] Wol Euler: take care, be happy and safe
[14:24] Qt Core: bye wol, sleep well
[14:24] Korel Laloix: Ciao
[14:27] Korel Laloix: So if not going anywere, what you up to today?
[14:27] Korel Laloix: And what yo doing for your festivals?
[14:27] Qt Core: the best thing... nothing :-)
[14:28] Korel Laloix: SOunds lovely
[14:28] Korel Laloix: I soooo need some of that.
[14:28] Korel Laloix: Can't wait until the holidays.
[14:29] Qt Core: 8 decemper is festive in all italy and 7 in and around Milan and they are the "official" opening of the christmas season, in these day you should go shopping for gifts, start planning for the big launches/dinners and start your tree or nativity scenes
[14:33] Qt Core: i'm not going to to much as i'm not a gift giver, we don't like anymore big christmas launch and my sister loves so much to do the nativity scenes i can't do anything about it
[14:34] Qt Core: i suppose that in use it all start with thanksgiving, right ?
[14:34] Qt Core: *usa
[14:34] Korel Laloix: For a lot of people yes... not so much for me.
[14:35] Korel Laloix: I don't save up gifts for birthdays or Christmas.
[14:35] Korel Laloix: If I see somehing that would be perfect for someone, I get it for them even if it is the middle of january.
[14:36] Qt Core: the trick is finding it again in your place in december ;-)
[14:36] Korel Laloix: I own very little.
[14:36] Korel Laloix: Evertying I own will fit in my car.
[14:37] Qt Core: this marker for the 7 of december in milan is several century old: http://goingonaguilttrip.blogspot.it...bei-o-bei.html
[14:38] Korel Laloix: Looks fun.
[14:39] Korel Laloix: This could be a very strange Christmas for me though.
[14:39] Korel Laloix: My aunts think they have found my father.... but not really counting on it.
[14:39] Qt Core: it's called "o bej o bej" in local dialect, "oh the beautiful, oh the beautiful)
[14:39] Korel Laloix: So not sure how I feel about that or how I will handle it.
[14:39] Korel Laloix: Looks pretty and inviting.
[14:39] Qt Core: that would be something big if not good
[14:40] Korel Laloix: I wish I could have seen more of that sort of thing when I was over there.
[14:40] Korel Laloix: Yes... I am thinkig it will be more big than good though.'
[14:41] Qt Core: and that if he want to meet/know you
[14:42] Korel Laloix: I really don't think he will want to, considering all the background.
[14:43] Korel Laloix: But I just want to know about and genetic things in the family and if I have siblings I dont' know about.
[14:43] Korel Laloix: Besides that, I relaly dont want any contact with him either.
[14:44] Korel Laloix: The fake snow here makes the place feel so cold, unfriendly and unviting to me.
[14:45] Korel Laloix: But I guess someone thinks the oposite.
[14:46] Qt Core: i usually just don't care, but as we may get some (very little they say) in the next days tonight it ubnsettle me a little too
[14:46] Korel Laloix: Fortunatly it does not snow here much.
[14:47] Qt Core: on the top of the mountains i suppose where there is no one to be disturbed by it
[14:47] Korel Laloix: Well, someone had to put these things up here.
[14:47] Korel Laloix: If I could delete them I would... smiles
[14:50] Qt Core: i can't remember where i saw the object controlling it, i know i saw it
[14:51] Korel Laloix: There are transparent balls up a few meters.
[14:54] Qt Core: everytime see the beam we use to do thinks here in sl i think about magic :-)
[14:54] Korel Laloix: Turned a couple of them off.
[14:55] Korel Laloix: What sort of magic
[14:55] Qt Core: think-thing one of the most common spelling mistake i do
[14:55] Qt Core: the merlin-harry potter kind
[14:55] Qt Core: but look ma, no wand ;-)
[14:56] Korel Laloix: I liked the movies.
[14:57] Qt Core: i loved the books but haven't seen all the movies
[14:57] Korel Laloix: Yeaa.. I stopped the evil snow... smiles
[14:57] Qt Core: :-)
[14:57] Korel Laloix: brb
[15:00] Korel Laloix: I am not a big fiction fan, but some of the scifi and fantasy movies can be fun... but usually just silly.
