[00:59] Agatha Macbeth: Hello skating Wollie
[00:59] Wol Euler: hello sitting Aggers
[00:59] Agatha Macbeth: The recorder has been missing you
    [01:00] Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
[01:00] Agatha Macbeth: Late night yesterday?
[01:00] Wol Euler: just past midnight
    [01:00] Agatha Macbeth: OMG
[01:01] Wol Euler: eh, it's been worse
[01:01] Agatha Macbeth: I wondered why you weren't at Frac
[01:01] Wol Euler: I was listening to the stream but had no way to say hello
    [01:01] Agatha Macbeth: Awww
    [01:01] Wol Euler: hello eliza
[01:01] Agatha Macbeth: I was looking through your alts to see if you were on as anyone else!

[01:01] Agatha Macbeth: Hi Liz ♥
    [01:01] Eliza Madrigal: ♥ ♥ ♥
    [01:01] Eliza Madrigal: ♥ ♥ ♥
    [01:02] Eliza Madrigal: mornin'
    [01:02] Wol Euler: ♥
[01:02] Agatha Macbeth: Up late again?
[01:02] Wol Euler: very early morning to you :)
[01:02] Eliza Madrigal: popped awake just now
    [01:02] Agatha Macbeth: Pop!¬
[01:02] Agatha Macbeth: Pop goes the Eliza
[01:02] Wol Euler looks for the weasel
    [01:02] Agatha Macbeth: He left
[01:03] Eliza Madrigal: found the gate under the fountain and turned into a dragon
    [01:03] Wol Euler: oh!
    [01:03] Agatha Macbeth: Nice

[01:03] Eliza Madrigal: how are you doing Wol?
[01:03] Agatha Macbeth: Enter the dragon
[01:03] Wol Euler: tired, sick, stressed
[01:03] Wol Euler: otherwise fine :)
    [01:04] Eliza Madrigal: :(
[01:04] Wol Euler: just spent an hour and a half with the upstairs neighbour
[01:04] Agatha Macbeth: Not feeling any better? :(
[01:04] Wol Euler: he was hammering on his door, shouting "doesn't anyone hear me?"
[01:04] Wol Euler: so I went up to see
    [01:04] Eliza Madrigal: hmmm
    [01:04] Wol Euler: he's around 86, I think
    [01:04] Wol Euler: and confused

[01:04] Agatha Macbeth: Hammering on his own door?
[01:04] Wol Euler: yes, from the inside
[01:04] Eliza Madrigal: maybe I should try that
    [01:04] Agatha Macbeth: Oh
    [01:04] Agatha Macbeth: Ha
[01:05] Eliza Madrigal: Is he okay?
[01:05] Wol Euler: he'd been to the toilet and was too tired to walk back to his bedroom
    [01:05] Agatha Macbeth: Aww
[01:05] Wol Euler: so I helped him to a chair and got him a glass of water, and tried to get him to say what was wrong

[01:05] Wol Euler: he kept saying that somebody would come, must come
[01:06] Wol Euler: I called his son, who wasn't particularly interested. "business as usual"
    [01:06] Agatha Macbeth sighs
[01:06] Eliza Madrigal: son is local?
    [01:06] Wol Euler: yes, nearby

[01:06] Wol Euler: he was looking for his glasses

[01:07] Wol Euler: I found them in the kitchen, with a note from the home help saying "hello son, these are broken please get them fixed"
[01:07] Wol Euler: dated July 7
    [01:07] Eliza Madrigal: aw
    [01:07] Agatha Macbeth: Dear god

[01:08] Wol Euler: by this time other neighbours had gathered, one called the ambulance (which actually means a first-response doctor in germany)
[01:08] Wol Euler: so we waited with him until they came
[01:08] Eliza Madrigal: well good way to start the day... being there for someone
[01:08] Wol Euler: neighbour is with him now, waiting until the home help arrives
    [01:08] Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
    [01:08] Wol Euler smiles modestly.
[01:09] Wol Euler: somebody has to do it
[01:09] Agatha Macbeth: Wol was there first as always!
[01:09] Wol Euler: and in particular somebody has to START it off
    [01:09] Eliza Madrigal: :)
    [01:09] Agatha Macbeth nods

[01:09] Wol Euler: nobody moved until I was in the corridor talking to him (loudly, he's deaf)
[01:09] Agatha Macbeth: People never seem to want to be the first
[01:09] Wol Euler: being there first means taking responsibility
    [01:10] Eliza Madrigal: yes

[01:10] Wol Euler: I picked up his glasses, will get them fixed
[01:10] Wol Euler: and send the son the bill
[01:10] Agatha Macbeth: It's like when you're in a room full of people and someone asks a question: nobody speaks until someone else has
    [01:10] Wol Euler: exactly
[01:10] Agatha Macbeth: Let's hope he pays it
[01:11] Wol Euler: and if not, what the hell
[01:11] Agatha Macbeth: Does that cost much over there?
[01:11] Wol Euler: hopefully not, depends on whether it needs a new frame
[01:11] Wol Euler: or whether it an be replaced
[01:11] Wol Euler: probably 100 to 200 Euro
    [01:12] Agatha Macbeth: Erk
    [01:12] Agatha Macbeth: Poor man
[01:12] Eliza Madrigal: hard to be alone, and disoriented
    [01:12] Wol Euler: mmhmm

[01:12] Agatha Macbeth: Has he no other kids?
[01:12] Wol Euler: he has lost most of his teeth too, I noticed
[01:12] Wol Euler: well, that's a sad tale
[01:13] Wol Euler: he has anohter son too, who lived in the building, on my floor
[01:13] Wol Euler: he's been taken away to a ... not quite sure what the term is
[01:13] Wol Euler: "closed asylum" is probably the right sense
    [01:13] Eliza Madrigal: oh dear
    [01:13] Agatha Macbeth: Oh man
[01:13] Wol Euler: suicidal alcoholic, desperate health problems
[01:14] Wol Euler: looks as old as his father though he's only a little over my age
    [01:14] Agatha Macbeth: Hello Zon
[01:14] Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zon :)

[01:14] Wol Euler: Mrs Upstairs Neighbour died a year ago, she'd had dementia the last few years
    [01:14] Wol Euler: hello zon
[01:16] Agatha Macbeth: If he'd had a daughter she would probably be more responsive
    [01:16] Wol Euler: perhaps
[01:16] Wol Euler: when I first met him, I thought the sane son would be more responsive
    [01:16] Eliza Madrigal: Hi zapotek
    [01:17] Zon Kwan: hi zap

[01:17] Wol Euler: he's had to deal with all three of them, and I guess he's a bit burned out
    [01:17] Agatha Macbeth: Three?
[01:17] Zon Kwan: what are we talking about ?
    [01:17] Zapotek Dryke: Hi
[01:17] Agatha Macbeth: Wol's neighbour Zon
    [01:17] Agatha Macbeth: Hello 5D
[01:17] Eliza Madrigal: I'm sure that happens.... the 'responsible one' becomes overwhelemd
[01:17] Wol Euler: hello zap, you are sitting on Zon's head.
    [01:18] Agatha Macbeth smiles
    [01:18] Wol Euler: better :)

[01:18] Zapotek Dryke: Itry to stop this gesture
[01:18] Wol Euler: have you been here before?
[01:18] Wol Euler: zap, there's a menu command to stop animating your avatar
    [01:18] Eliza Madrigal: tada
    [01:18] Wol Euler: there :)
    [01:19] Zon Kwan: lol
    [01:19] Zapotek Dryke: hi
[01:19] Eliza Madrigal: healed by the fountain
[01:19] Agatha Macbeth: Try stop all animations
[01:19] Zapotek Dryke: Now it's better
    [01:19] Agatha Macbeth: Ah, done

[01:19] Wol Euler: zap, have you been here before?
[01:19] Zapotek Dryke: It's first time

[01:20] Zapotek Dryke: I had a terrible night
[01:20] Agatha Macbeth: Ah, you get the introduction then :p
[01:20] Wol Euler: I'll give you a notecard and a brief introduction in IM so we don't disturb the others
[01:20] Zapotek Dryke: I need good friends
    [01:20] Zapotek Dryke: ♥ Thank Youuuuuuuuuu!! ♥
    [01:20] Zapotek Dryke: oops

    [01:20] Zapotek Dryke: Gestures
    [01:20] Zon Kwan: everyone needs

[01:20] Wol Euler: m sorry to hear that, zap
[01:21] Agatha Macbeth: Maybe you came to the right place :)

[01:21] Eliza Madrigal: what makes a good friend?
[01:21] Zon Kwan: ah ..there is a song
    [01:22] Agatha Macbeth: Caring, sharing...?
[01:22] Zon Kwan: when times get tough
    [01:22] Agatha Macbeth: (hey I'm a poet)
[01:22] Zon Kwan: and your freind only moans and complains
[01:22] Zapotek Dryke: next one at 7am SLT. Ihave ppl in RL. I hope I can Join you
[01:22] Zon Kwan: he/she is not a friend
[01:23] Agatha Macbeth: Always good to have someone to complain to :p
    [01:23] Zapotek Dryke: who?
[01:23] Zon Kwan: perhaps it means..doesnt support you
[01:23] Zon Kwan: int time of need
    [01:23] Eliza Madrigal nods
[01:24] Agatha Macbeth: Support is always good
    [01:24] Eliza Madrigal: pivotal moments
    [01:24] Zapotek Dryke: ok
[01:24] Zon Kwan: especially when you need it
    [01:24] Agatha Macbeth nods
[01:25] Zon Kwan: feeling better Zap ?

[01:25] Eliza Madrigal: SL friendships are both better and worse in the regard... because one can support at a close level, people are open with one another, but can't walk upstairs and help usually
[01:26] Zon Kwan: there is many kinds of help
[01:26] Eliza Madrigal: which ironically is why people are open with one another
    [01:26] Eliza Madrigal: :)
    [01:26] Agatha Macbeth smiles
    [01:26] Wol Euler: true :)
[01:26] Zon Kwan: and most help is not always physical
    [01:26] Zapotek Dryke: yes
    [01:27] Eliza Madrigal: true Zon

[01:27] Eliza Madrigal: can we bring each other 'clarity'?
[01:27] Wol Euler: insofar as any human every achieves clarity, yes :)
[01:27] Zon Kwan: who else can
[01:28] Wol Euler: the "talking cure" is based on that
    [01:28] Zapotek Dryke: merry Christmas

[01:31] Agatha Macbeth: End of the world party :p
[01:31] Eliza Madrigal: oops sorry bell ^^
[01:31] Agatha Macbeth: What's that place in HHGTTG, the restaurant at the end of the world?
    [01:32] Eliza Madrigal: universe :)
    [01:32] Agatha Macbeth: Milliways?
    [01:32] Wol Euler: *universe
    [01:32] Wol Euler: yes

[01:32] Zon Kwan: alien is just a friend you havent met

[01:32] Eliza Madrigal: I make light but honestly what do I know...
[01:32] Agatha Macbeth: What does anybody know?
    [01:32] Eliza Madrigal: exactly
    [01:32] Zapotek Dryke: thanks
    [01:33] Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
    [01:33] Zon Kwan: thats clear
    [01:33] Eliza Madrigal: :)
    [01:33] Wol Euler: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Places_...laxy#Milliways
    [01:33] Agatha Macbeth: Aha
    [01:34] Zon Kwan: lol
[01:34] Zapotek Dryke: Zapo's owner goes to dress, but Zao remains here. Just a few minutes
[01:34] Zon Kwan: welcome to milliways
[01:35] Agatha Macbeth: I remember the self-slaughtering cow
[01:36] Agatha Macbeth: Played by Peter Davidson in the TV version I believe
[01:36] Wol Euler: talk about typecasting :)
    [01:36] Agatha Macbeth: Mmm
[01:37] Agatha Macbeth: Shame they couldn't get Tom Baker :p
[01:38] Eliza Madrigal: eyes are closing again... back to dreaming...
    [01:38] Zapotek Dryke: Bye Zon
    [01:38] Wol Euler: good :)
[01:38] Wol Euler: sleep well, eliza, rest and recover
[01:38] Eliza Madrigal: feel better Wol, hope doing well Aggers, nice to meet you zap
[01:38] Agatha Macbeth: Yes, sleep well Liz, take care ♥
    [01:38] Wol Euler: ♥
[01:38] Eliza Madrigal: (and bye zon)

[01:39] Agatha Macbeth: You're flying in three days then Wol?
[01:40] Wol Euler: um, on the 19th
    [01:40] Wol Euler: so yes
    [01:40] Wol Euler: on wednesdy
[01:40] Agatha Macbeth: Hope you're ok on the flight
    [01:40] Wol Euler: me too
[01:40] Agatha Macbeth: How long is it?
[01:41] Wol Euler: not very long, six hours I think
[01:41] Agatha Macbeth: Hmm, long enough
[01:42] Agatha Macbeth: Oh, did our visitor leave?
    [01:42] Wol Euler: apparently
[01:42] Wol Euler: as talkative as Zon
[01:42] Wol Euler: though he did say he hoped to be at the 7am
[01:42] Agatha Macbeth: Didn't see Zon go either :(

[01:43] Agatha Macbeth: 'People come and people go, some move fast and some move slow'

[01:44] Agatha Macbeth: Like your Bax skates btw
    [01:44] Wol Euler grins.
[01:44] Wol Euler: aren't they great?
    [01:45] Agatha Macbeth: Absolutely
[01:45] Agatha Macbeth: Hm, I seem to have some lag this morning
[01:47] Wol Euler: who said skates couldn't be beautiful?
[01:47] Agatha Macbeth: Not me :p
[01:47] Agatha Macbeth: Talk about 'get yer skates on'
    [01:47] Wol Euler: yeppers

[01:47] Agatha Macbeth: Will the competition be ready then?
[01:48] Wol Euler: for certain values of "ready", yes
[01:48] Wol Euler: it could have been ready today
    [01:48] Agatha Macbeth: Ah
[01:48] Wol Euler: for other values of "ready"

[01:48] Wol Euler: I struggle in vain to persuade people that it is more important to have four elevations of the building, than to make one of them perfect
[01:49] Agatha Macbeth: Sounds logical, yes
[01:49] Wol Euler: boss spent all day perfecting one single elevation
[01:49] Wol Euler: the others are only roughed in (by me)
[01:49] Agatha Macbeth: Eye candy maybe?
[01:49] Wol Euler: futile eye candy
[01:49] Wol Euler: if we have one perfect elevation and three missing ones, we'll be thrown out
    [01:49] Agatha Macbeth: Right
[01:49] Wol Euler: if we have four present but not perfect elevations, we might still win
[01:50] Wol Euler: to me that looks like a no-brainer
    [01:50] Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
[01:50] Wol Euler: but he will not begin the others until this one is perfect
[01:50] Agatha Macbeth: Maybe it's a german thing

[01:52] Wol Euler: it's also an architect thing, they don't understand time
    [01:52] Agatha Macbeth gins
[01:52] Agatha Macbeth: and grins too
[01:53] Wol Euler: gin so early in the day?
[01:53] Agatha Macbeth: God no, never touch the stuff
[01:54] Agatha Macbeth: Tastes like lighter fuel to me
[01:54] Agatha Macbeth: Whiskey, now that's something else :)
[01:54] Agatha Macbeth: Especially a good scottish one
    [01:55] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:55] Wol Euler: Jamesons takes some beating
    [01:55] Agatha Macbeth: Oh definitely
[01:55] Wol Euler: but generally I do like single malts, aye
[01:55] Agatha Macbeth: And good old Jack of course
[01:56] Agatha Macbeth: Tho he's not scottish AFAIK :p
    [01:56] Wol Euler: Tennessee
    [01:56] Agatha Macbeth: Close :p
[01:57] Agatha Macbeth pictures a redneck in a kilt
    [01:58] Wol Euler: heheheheh
    [01:59] Agatha Macbeth: Anyway...
[01:59] Agatha Macbeth: Think I'll go and get changed
[02:00] Wol Euler: bye aggers, enjoy the day
    [02:00] Wol Euler: ♥
[02:00] Agatha Macbeth: Have fun dear Wollie, be well ♥
[02:00] Agatha Macbeth: And if I don't see you in the meantime, have a good flight
    [02:01] Agatha Macbeth waves
