Catrinamonblue Resident: Having a hard time trying to sleep so decided to come here for a bit.
Calvino Rabeni: Well, I hope things are calm and relaxing here tonight :)

Calvino Rabeni: It feels like the middle of the night to me too
Calvino Rabeni: but it has all day
Calvino Rabeni: one of those days when cars have the headlights on all day
Catrinamonblue Resident: Gloomy weather gloomy mind
Calvino Rabeni: maybe yes a bit true
Catrinamonblue Resident: I'm finding dark thoughts are too close to the surface tonight
Calvino Rabeni: I'm hoping to find a natural story to tell about it
Calvino Rabeni: like, there are some chickens that live next door, and I don't think they get gloomy, but they do stay in the nest all day on days like this
Calvino Rabeni: sleeping or resting I think
Calvino Rabeni: while on bright days they get out and cackle a lot

Calvino Rabeni: this is a coincidence, but, I have a cat named "Catrina"
Catrinamonblue Resident: wow love that :)
Calvino Rabeni: so I can't help having that mental association when you're avatar name comes on the screeen :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: I love cats have 3 here at home
Calvino Rabeni: Also Catrina is a blue point
Catrinamonblue Resident: Did you see Sam and Prin on my shoulders?
Calvino Rabeni: looks more carefully
Calvino Rabeni: cats have very distinct personalities
Calvino Rabeni: the two I have are sisters but could hardly be more different
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes they do even sibling cats have very differnt personalities
Catrinamonblue Resident: lol
Catrinamonblue Resident: 2 of mine are sisters and are completely differnt from each other
Calvino Rabeni: one is innocent and looks at people out of the corner of her eyes and is a bit of a scaredy cat
Calvino Rabeni: and has a squeaky voice

Calvino Rabeni: the other stares directly, even at barking dogs, tries to stare them down, and has a loud insistent voice like a siamese
Calvino Rabeni: and won't take no for an answer

Calvino Rabeni: One is a lot bigger than the other, too
Calvino Rabeni: heavy and muscular vs. thin and svelte
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes my two girls are like that too :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: Our male is older than the girls and only tolerates them
Calvino Rabeni: I thought they were supposed to be careful, but they do things like knock over lamps
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Calvino Rabeni: But one surprised me with cleverness .. she buries her (you know) and the other one doesn't and she doesn't like that
Catrinamonblue Resident: lol
Calvino Rabeni: so she went into another room, and got some newspaper, and unfolded it and put it over the top of the business and spread it out
Catrinamonblue Resident: really? wow!
Calvino Rabeni: yes
Calvino Rabeni: a neat freak
Calvino Rabeni: and it was a big involved job I guess
Calvino Rabeni: for a cat to do that series of things
Catrinamonblue Resident: mine just go in front if the litter box isn't to their satisfaction
Calvino Rabeni: a more immediate way to deal with it

Paradise Tennant: well chores are done .. sheets are drying dog is bathed fed and just had his teeth brushed with the electric toothbrush and we are inside cosy and dry on wicked rainy night here :) we are well :)
Paradise Tennant: don't mean to interrupt the flow of conversation :) listening :)

Paradise Tennant: no just a dog :) cannot have a cat .. am allergic :(
Calvino Rabeni: sounds like you might if you could, though
Paradise Tennant: yes like them very well
Calvino Rabeni: I think I might be allergic
Calvino Rabeni: not sure I want to know
Paradise Tennant: and they work out to be good friend dogs and cats
Calvino Rabeni: nods yes especially if they start young

Paradise Tennant: just finishted a mystery by maureen jennings a journey man to grief ..she writes a great mystery :)

Paradise Tennant: ahh that must be good >> i like her books :))

Catrinamonblue Resident: very good I love her books too
Catrinamonblue Resident: found the hard cover at Chapters for 9.99 :)
Paradise Tennant: I have a basket of books by my bed usually about 5 or 6 on the go .. with all different types so depending on what I feel like there is something there that appeals
Paradise Tennant: love chapters they are dog friendly :))
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Paradise Tennant: they are like little oases where you can go have coffee and explore the world through print :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: I used to work at chapters once upon a time :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: it was great fun and loved seeing new books come in :)
Paradise Tennant: that must have been fun I would spend all my money there
Catrinamonblue Resident: lol I did spend a lot
Paradise Tennant: was it when larry still ran it or after heather took over :)
Paradise Tennant: like the feel of the stores better when larry was running it .. more chairs .. more relaxed
Catrinamonblue Resident: a bit of both I was there from late 98 till mid 2000
Catrinamonblue Resident: changes were happening when I left
Paradise Tennant: with a book you can be at home anywhere :))

Paradise Tennant: funny how that works .. spread out in a train .. sitting in a restaurant and once you open it there is an ease that just arrives .. you have company :))
