Hana Furlough: how did you spend your day?
stevenaia Michinaga: thinking... I attend a tao study group that get's together in RL once a month, they was this morning, it;s an informal group, then I replaced my glass frames
stevenaia Michinaga: finished my Art as Being piece for the dome
stevenaia Michinaga: listened to some music in SL

Hana Furlough: sounds like a good day

Hana Furlough: i slept in : )
Hana Furlough: now trying to holiday shop online and not become stressed

stevenaia Michinaga: seem I was the only one not shopping tonight,
Paradise Tennant: it is time consuming and we were at a great art exhibit too

Hana Furlough: i don't know why but i feel kind of weird about the whole holiday season this year
Paradise Tennant: smiles and hana and listens
Hana Furlough: the hyperconsumerism, the "must buy something, anything" attitude
Hana Furlough: also, the fact that i often don't know if people are being exploited to make the things i buy to make others happy
stevenaia Michinaga: well, speaking from an observer... I can see how this holiday can affect people opposite of how I would have thought it was intended
dranna Tempura: some times when the av income is 500 a year 50 cent an hour is a fortune
Paradise Tennant: nicest part of it is having the time to spend with family and friends
Hana Furlough: yeah, it's true
Hana Furlough: right
stevenaia Michinaga: then there's the food :)
Hana Furlough: sorry to be a downer
Hana Furlough: ahh yes the food is always good
Paradise Tennant: you know I think a lot of people get sad at this time of year
Paradise Tennant: there is so much build up so much anticipation
stevenaia Michinaga: there are some things I never see until I get invited to christmas parties
Paradise Tennant: it gets a bit over the top
Paradise Tennant: but the simple parts of it are wonderful
Paradise Tennant: the time off
Paradise Tennant: some good food
dranna Tempura: ya like 15 screaming grand children lol
Paradise Tennant: sleeping in 1!!!
Hana Furlough: yeah, that's the other thing: the idea that things need to be done now, because it's the holidays
Hana Furlough: haha yes, all good things
