Paradise Tennant: lol 4 gift cards to indigo :)) 2 to starbucks :) xmas cards and some stott pilates dvds :)) a sad list but all the kids are too grown up these days to buy for :)

Paradise Tennant: yes some years it is mountain equipment co-op or .. roots or .. sephora but indigo is great because it has something everyone will like

ContreCourant Resident: I am already getting tired of winter. It makes me sad. I've gone and bought a SAD light - and it seems to be helping

Paradise Tennant: sometimes when you fully surrender to a moment .. I think it is all the preparation you need

Paradise Tennant: was out shopping tonight for xmas presents walked by the windows at the Hudson bay store .. with the dog admiring all the mechanical dolls wondering how many times I have stood there looking through the glass

Paradise Tennant: really looking forward to it too have booked off between xmas and new year’s .. so 10 days :)))

Paradise Tennant: there is great hiking near you ..do you go on the trails ?
Santoshima Resident: hmm, it is rare that I hike
Santoshima Resident: mostly, I work
Santoshima Resident: time off in summer I travel to study
Paradise Tennant: nods but you love your work :)) so that is a blessing :))
Santoshima Resident: but yes, there are very good places to hike near here
Santoshima Resident: and good walks just in the neighbourhood
Santoshima Resident: overall, great place to walk and see animals, birds
Paradise Tennant: find that time outside in the woods really restorative somehow always find I feel more ..not sure of the words ..

Paradise Tennant: was out of the office this morning doing an inspection walked through a Russian grocery store .. love foreign grocery stores :) made me smile to think they were paying me to do it
Santoshima Resident: what did you see?
Paradise Tennant: so many interesting types of specialities

Paradise Tennant: lots of dried fish smoked fish ..pickled fish pickled everything really :)))
Paradise Tennant: bought sour cherries, kefir, Russian pastries, and ground turkey for Mr. blue :))

stevenaia Michinaga: fresh from NYC last week
Paradise Tennant: hmm yes also bought a round of brie to serve them with ..heated up they are great with bread
stevenaia Michinaga: may have to raid the leftover chocolate cake, getting hungry
