    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Fc :)
    FcSeeker Resident: Hello Adams
    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Xirana :)
    FcSeeker Resident: Hello Xirana
    Arisia Vita: Hi all
    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Arisia :)
Xirana Oximoxi: hello Adams, Arisia, Fc :)
    FcSeeker Resident: Hello Arisia
Arisia Vita: so good to be with you all
Adams Dubrovna: Nice you all could make it with all the time changes
Xirana Oximoxi: well...we did a week ago:)
Adams Dubrovna: yes, some then too
Adams Dubrovna: very confusing for those not in US
Xirana Oximoxi: do you feel more relaxed ?? you've had an hour more to sleep :))
Adams Dubrovna: I stayed up two hours later than I usually do. heh heh
Xirana Oximoxi: yes... iSL time has been confusingthis week :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: well done :)
Adams Dubrovna: It always takes me almost a week to adjust to a time change
    Adams Dubrovna: slow adapter
Xirana Oximoxi: yes, me too... I wake up very early now :)
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
Adams Dubrovna: The time changes do make a good time to re-evaluate our routine
Adams Dubrovna: maybe a good time to quit work and go live in the forest. heh heh
Xirana Oximoxi: yes... but sometimes it's so stablished that's not easy to change, if it needs to change :)
    --BELL--
    FcSeeker Resident: MIssouri
Xirana Oximoxi: living in the forest at this time of year is not recommended!! :))9 winter is coming and it would be sooo cold :))
FcSeeker Resident: so sorry; meant to IM
Adams Dubrovna: Yes, the Spring change would be a better time to consider that plan. There was still snow in the woods yesterday from the early storm we had one week ago
Xirana Oximoxi: but, of course, it depends on the part of the world you are living :)
Xirana Oximoxi: would you like living in a forest? leaving all the things that a ciity offers to you?
Adams Dubrovna: I was being a bit silly. Walking in the forest is often the antidote for being too busy
Xirana Oximoxi: ahh yes... walking in the forest is wonderful and heaalthy:))
Adams Dubrovna: I seem to have accumulated too many chores lately
Xirana Oximoxi: I live in the countryside, and sometimes miss all the 'busy' of the city)
Adams Dubrovna: I imagine especially so in bad weather
Adams Dubrovna: The museum offers museums, theaters, etc. in bad weather
Adams Dubrovna: someone else shovels the snow. heh heh
Xirana Oximoxi: yes, and cofees fulls of people, live music :)
Adams Dubrovna: yes, lots of activity
Adams Dubrovna: cows are not great at partying :)
Xirana Oximoxi: anyway, at the moment I would not like to change:)
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: haha
Adams Dubrovna: it is good to be content with where one is
    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Stevenaia :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello steve:)
    FcSeeker Resident: Hello steve
    stevenaia Michinaga: Morning
stevenaia Michinaga: off to mother's BD party shortly... just thought I's stop by
    Arisia Vita: glad you did
Adams Dubrovna: Thanks for stoppinng by and best wishes for a happy birthday for your mother
Xirana Oximoxi: nice to see you steve:) even for a short while :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: thanx
Xirana Oximoxi: ah yes! happy birthday for your mother:)
Adams Dubrovna: Mine would have had a birthday two days ago and I thought about her
stevenaia Michinaga: thinking flowers and a card... I may have to leave sooner :)
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    FcSeeker Resident: <3<3<3
Arisia Vita: if you thought about her, she enjoyed her birthday with you...

    stevenaia Michinaga: waves to observerm
stevenaia Michinaga: nice sunny morning here, is there a topic?
    FcSeeker Resident: ah hi oserverm
Adams Dubrovna: we were discussing the time change and its affect on us
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi ob:)
Xirana Oximoxi: and living in a forest or in a city:)
Adams Dubrovna: and living in the country as opposed to the city a bit
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: :))
Adams Dubrovna: we aggreed cows are not good party animals
Adams Dubrovna: although they are very good listeners
    Xirana Oximoxi: yep!
stevenaia Michinaga: somehow the time change led me to purchase Roger Waters tickets for July, I haven;t figured out the connection yet (speaking of Animals, the album)
Adams Dubrovna: the side effects of time changes aren't often talked about :)
stevenaia Michinaga: so I had an extra hour of sleep, right?
    --BELL--
stevenaia Michinaga: it certainly doesn't sharpen the mind
Xirana Oximoxi: I suppose there are studies of the effects of this change... but I have not read any
Adams Dubrovna: With the US changing the times they change as opposed to the rest of the world I expect there are other effetcs to study now
stevenaia Michinaga: seems like an outmoted concept in any case
    Adams Dubrovna: I agree
Adams Dubrovna: It does remind us how focused we can be on time and schedules though
FcSeeker Resident: or to realize the time when it is must :)
stevenaia Michinaga: time to move, thanks for the warm company
FcSeeker Resident: that's how my 'clock' works out :)
Adams Dubrovna: bye Steve. enjoy your day :)
Xirana Oximoxi: bye steve , have a nice day! :)
    FcSeeker Resident: was gtsy
FcSeeker Resident: be well and take care
    stevenaia Michinaga: waves
Adams Dubrovna: I am aware of the time change every meal time for a while :)
Xirana Oximoxi: :)... yes! that's one of the pints not easy to change :)
Adams Dubrovna: my stomach says "what's going on up there?"
    Xirana Oximoxi: *points
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I am curious about one thing, Adams... how long did it take to you to prepare the exhibition in the Sacred Museum ?
Xirana Oximoxi: I've been back there and still haven't appreciate all
Adams Dubrovna: I am not sure exactly. Of course, i did it while doing other things but maybe two months
FcSeeker Resident: takes a humble bow
Arisia Vita: I must fly, it was great being near you all
    Adams Dubrovna: bye Fc
FcSeeker Resident: and wish good to all
    Adams Dubrovna: bye Arisia
Arisia Vita: be well and happy
    Xirana Oximoxi: bye bye FC
    FcSeeker Resident: namaste
    Adams Dubrovna: have good days
    Xirana Oximoxi: bye Arisia
Adams Dubrovna: It was a learning experience for me Xirana
Adams Dubrovna: I kept changing things, redoing them
Xirana Oximoxi: ah yes, I suppose so...
Adams Dubrovna: as I gradually usnderstood the subject better
    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Yaku :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I understand, and it is showed...
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey the two of you
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Yaku:)
    --BELL--
Adams Dubrovna: The western study of Indian art began during the colonial period and many of the ideas about the art were rooted in colonialism. It has taken time to sort through all that
Xirana Oximoxi: I mean , that it is all perfect organised and explained... what shows a big reflexion on how to put every image at her special place
Adams Dubrovna: It was fun using SL tools to tell the sttories
Xirana Oximoxi: ah yes! very interesting point, to get free of prejudices and influeces of points of view so 'occidental'
Adams Dubrovna: The Trimurti is a prime example fo that
Adams Dubrovna: the west made connections with the Trinity
Adams Dubrovna: and so they amplified its importance
Xirana Oximoxi: I am always amazed by the expressivity of so old images:)
Adams Dubrovna: Some of the Indian sources went to the other extreme and denied its existence
Xirana Oximoxi: 'ancient' better than 'old'
Adams Dubrovna: but there were Trimurti temples
Adams Dubrovna: so there was a conflict there
Xirana Oximoxi: I guess it would be wonderful to have also a voice guided tour :))
Adams Dubrovna: eventually I found it was a later and not earlier idea
Adams Dubrovna: and also that it was somewhat regional
Adams Dubrovna: so it was there but not all that popular now
Adams Dubrovna: now as populare as Shiva, Vishnu or the Devi (Mother Goddesses)
Adams Dubrovna: but there are other levels too
Adams Dubrovna: There are deep philosophical writings that are not represented with the gods and goddesses
Adams Dubrovna: and then there are the priactices like puja
Adams Dubrovna: I am thinking about an Art History Workshop in Dcemeber on the subject
Xirana Oximoxi: and how do you know tha philosophical writings... are they published?
Adams Dubrovna: there is much more published than I will ever be able to read :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I look for 'puja' :)
    Adams Dubrovna: Hello Wol :)
