Archmage Atlantis: It has not been a primary interest of mine, at least not representational art.
Archmage Atlantis: I do think of all of SL and it's expression of those who come here as a form of art.

Archmage Atlantis: Are there any art galleries you especially like?
Xirana Oximoxi: yes, me too:) but I also like to visit exhibitions... even if the perception of works here I think is somehoe limited... not the same texture , size of works and so on... but I like very much to see what other artist do

Archmage Atlantis: That I can understand...since you use the phrase "other artists", I assume that is something you also do then, create art I mean?
Xirana Oximoxi: and today I've seen Museo de arte Moderno... where there is a really funny vidoe reproduction of works of masters with real people in it
Xirana Oximoxi: it seems a Youtube, but I haven't been able to get the link, so one must go there to see it
Xirana Oximoxi: well, I used to paint, but not at the moment... maybe in a reflexion period
Archmage Atlantis: Museo video sounds like the art festival in California where living people form recreations of art masterpieces......at least in conceptual similarity.
Archmage Atlantis: I forget what that festival is called.

Archmage Atlantis: The world map has a function (in Phoenix at least) that will copy the SLURL
Xirana Oximoxi: ty:9 with viewer 2 you can do right clic on the LM and in the menu it is possible to copy it

Xirana Oximoxi: there are always a lot of things to try with viewers
Archmage Atlantis: Yes.....there are, and sometimes the only way to figure them out in a reasonable amount of time is to be lucky enough find ask someone who is familiar with that viewer.

Archmage Atlantis: A lot of folks enjoy building.......my favorite activity is group discussions in subjects I like......

Archmage Atlantis: No, I've never had any desire to build here.....It's more complex to achieve a satisfactory result than I have the time to invest.
Archmage Atlantis: That would be a good topic to touch on at a PaB meeting......someone might introduce themselves as willing to help out someone else who wanted to learn about building.
Xirana Oximoxi: oh! if I am not wrong, I think Sun is doing it yet... but I've never gone
Xirana Oximoxi: now they are concentrate in the teather and learning hoe to do shows here:)

Archmage Atlantis: I haven't been attending very much of late in any of SL's opportunities.
Xirana Oximoxi: it may be also an interesting experience to share a retreat in SL
Archmage Atlantis: I enjoyed the retreat I attended very much.
Xirana Oximoxi: well... sometimes is also good to disconnect or change activities
Xirana Oximoxi: I like to come to German chat and alos French...it's a fun way to llearn and knowing people
Archmage Atlantis: Yes....it is.......I haven't really had the physical ability to sit at a computer for long the last few weeks........bu it has given me time to explore all the movies and tv series I've missed that are on Netflix now.
Xirana Oximoxi: ahhh very nice, I don't see TV since I come to SL:)) only the news
Xirana Oximoxi: what is 'Netflix'? a tv channel?
Archmage Atlantis: I watch the news every day or so.....
Archmage Atlantis: Netflix streams DVD material across the web.....it's supposed to be going into a number of countries.
Xirana Oximoxi: news are a lot of days really depressing.. seeing how countries go to war fighting for democraty... and how egoist dctators don't mind to kill their own people... really sad
Archmage Atlantis: There are thousands of recorded materials available
Xirana Oximoxi: ahh I will lok for it...ty:)
Archmage Atlantis: Sort of a "video library"
Xirana Oximoxi: sometimes the rights are not the same for all countries
Archmage Atlantis: And sometimes, they change in the US because of new regulations, or company buyouts :)
Archmage Atlantis: It was easier to keep up when I was younger......but overall I believe the world is changing in a positive direction.
Xirana Oximoxi: I've found a new that says that in Spain we will be able to acces Netflis in Januar 2012:)

Xirana Oximoxi: no, and 'time' goes very quick... always things to do, to learn, to enjoi:)

Xirana Oximoxi: Internet has changed my life.... living in the country I can study again, what has been a real improvement for me
Archmage Atlantis: 10 years ago, I would have had to get books from the library and only the most recent mass market DVDs from the strore
Xirana Oximoxi: yes! ... a lot of facilities to get acces to different ways of culture, books, dvds, ...etc.
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, the internet is changing everything.....the sharing of information, culture, etc

Xirana Oximoxi: also, I was talking with a friend about the ignorance I and a lot of western people have of other cultures.. works of literatur from Africa, China, ... and with google translators and all the new things like this, we will be able to know it better...
Archmage Atlantis: Do you come to this 1 AM meeting often?
Xirana Oximoxi: usually I can't come at this time, but now I've finished my semester and I have a little more time..so I like to come and see who is here:)) you always say t's a lonely time
Archmage Atlantis: It is a quiet time, yes.......and since 1 AM SL is 4 AM here, a bit early for me.......I tried to be regular, but it just hasn't been possible the last few weeks
