The Guardian for this meeting was Agatha Macbeth. The comments are by Agatha Macbeth. I arrived at the PaBvilion only to find the Recorder would not not let me claim the log (again), consequently the first part of this is compiled from chat (hence the sudden change in name format).  While I was in the middle of struggling with this, a new(ish) face appeared.

    Sarah: hi Aggers
    Aggers: Hello
    Sarah: its ssl ^^
    Aggers: What is?
Duh! Sarah explained to me in IM she was actually Sharon in another body...
Aggers: So you're ok with recording then? :p
Sarah: yes I am! thanks for asking
Aggers: Damn, I can't claim the log for some reason
    Sarah: hmm, I don't know
PaB Listener Master: Your e-mail address  has been recorded. Please check whether you receive the test message. If not, check whether you entered the correct address. Please wait 20 seconds before trying again.
    Aggers: Right...
Sarah taps the recorder with her boot
Aggers: Well it has my address right
    Wol Euler is Online
Sarah watches aggers actually get up and tap the recorder with her boot hahah
Aggers: No, no reaction at all
    Sarah: hi Fc

    Aggers: Hello FC
    FcSeeker: Hello Aggers
    Our heroine arrives....
Wol Euler: hello everyone, sorry I'm late
Aggers: Ah, the girl herself :)
Sarah: I unclicked the show time stamps for that reason Aggers
Aggers: Wol, the recorder won't let me claim the log

Wol Euler: right-click on the pink bit and select "recompile scripts in select" from the tools menu
    Wol Euler: sorry, wrong instruction
Arch: I shall bring it to rebirth
Wol Euler: left click onit, mark it, then select from Tools
    Sarah: giggles
    Aggers: l-click does nothing
    Aggers: No reaction
    Wol Euler: okay, try this-.
    Wol Euler: right-click, select "open"
    Wol Euler: then tools
Aggers: Open just gives me the contents

PaB Listener Master whispers: Listening on channel 17 in debug mode.
    Sarah sees some green text

Eliza Madrigal doesn't see stealthy Bleu
Korel Laloix: I I have a lot of problems with this aproach to peace.

Korel Laloix: THe whole peace day and peace poem thing.
    Bleu Oleander listens
    Eliza Madrigal listens too
    oO0Oo Resident backspaces and listens
Korel Laloix: Well, I wront my own little poem.

    Korel Laloix: One sec.
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
oO0Oo Resident: [thanks for the sign Bleu]
        --BELL--
    Bleu Oleander: yw!
    Korel Laloix: As a background.
Korel Laloix: I have serious issues with people that talk about peace as I grew up in a very abusive home..... and alot of people knew about it and did nothing.
Korel Laloix: ANd I see examples of tha all the time.
    Eliza Madrigal: sure, understandable
    oO0Oo Resident nods
Korel Laloix: Moral apathy disguized as feelings of moral superiority.
Bleu Oleander: yes, peace begins with each individual
Korel Laloix: THis is how I feel about it.
oO0Oo Resident reads Korels poem from notecard
Eliza Madrigal: much in what you say and often the case
Eliza Madrigal: but one doesn't have to negate the other... in a way, that we've been doing this other, makes way for this to be shared as well
Korel Laloix: WHat saved my life was litterally beating my mother unconsious with a hairdryer when I was eleven.. becuase everyone that know chose to do nothing.
Korel Laloix: They left it up to a little girl to save her own life.... all they did was talk.
    Korel Laloix: So... gettin emotional....
    Korel Laloix: Sorry.
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
    Eliza Madrigal: (((Korel))))
    Bleu Oleander: very sad
Bleu Oleander: so sorry that anyone has to endure something like that
Eliza Madrigal: indeed and horribly complex
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eliza Madrigal: for me, I think silence fosters understanding and connection
Eliza Madrigal: which breaks down barriers
Bleu Oleander: hard to know how to help that situation, going forward to be more aware and help in a real way
oO0Oo Resident: Sometimes things feel triggering and too much to stay with... I appreciate the feelings and umet needs from Korel's childhood as pointed to in the notecard...
    oO0Oo Resident: *unmet
Eliza Madrigal: even understanding due to similar circumstances isn't the same as being there for someone.... very hard to stay with, nods
Bleu Oleander: peace means different things to different people
Bleu Oleander: peace on different scales
    Bleu Oleander: start small
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: amen
Eliza Madrigal: the hardest thing to do is to stay silent for an hour sometimes... so much comes up...
Eliza Madrigal: very little real silence in abusive homes I'd venture
oO0Oo Resident: I have been thinking a lot lately about cradle to grave care
Bleu Oleander: so while our PaB observance of Peace day is important to all of us, it can't be the only thing we do
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
Eliza Madrigal: what is that Sam?
    Bleu Oleander listens to Sam
oO0Oo Resident: interesting how co-emergent the whole thing becomes
    oO0Oo Resident: to encounter peace
oO0Oo Resident: is to necessarily encounter its opposite
    oO0Oo Resident: genuine encounter
oO0Oo Resident: is to stay with both in some way
oO0Oo Resident: each in their own way
        --BELL--
oO0Oo Resident: cradle to grave notion is about how people could get their needs met all through their lives with support of others, when for instance their childhoods were not meeting their needs
Bleu Oleander: family do that except when they don't
Eliza Madrigal: :) you said it
Bleu Oleander: then a need for social organizations to help
Eliza Madrigal: the thing is, by the time someone knows they aren't adequately prepared, they are already chin deep in circumstances which their inadequate prep made way for
Bleu Oleander: there are now guarentees of being born into a loving supportive family
Eliza Madrigal: cycles spawning.. how fortunate is someone who is aware
Eliza Madrigal: even if it is horribly painful
oO0Oo Resident: now or no Bleu?
    Bleu Oleander: no ... sorry
    oO0Oo Resident: ah ty
    oO0Oo Resident: true
Eliza Madrigal: and strangely, even abusive families aren't necessarily without love too ... sigh...
Bleu Oleander: would be nice the other way :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: it is a wonderful poem Korel wrote, must say... from the heart
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eliza Madrigal: goodness...have to sign off... speaking of care..
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bleu Oleander: yes, me too bye for now
    Bleu Oleander: take care
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you both
    Bleu Oleander: you goo
Eliza Madrigal: thanks for this thoughtful conversation
    Bleu Oleander: haha too
    oO0Oo Resident waves
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: (and thanks korel)
    Bleu Oleander: bye bye

/me hugs Korel.  I know exactly how she feels: sometimes it can be maddening to hear people talking about peace when you're feeling anything but peaceful yourself (author's note).
