The Guardian for this meeting was SophiaSharon Larnia. The comments are by SophiaSharon Larnia. I was joined in the pavilion by Korel, FcSeeker, oO0Oo, Bruce, Bleu, and Agatha.
SophiaSharon Larnia: yesterday was really nice, it was the first time we've done something like that
Korel Laloix: I deliberately did not come.
SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm not sure, but are either of you thinking about doing an art piece for the next exhibit?
SophiaSharon Larnia: the email to the group came out before you both became guardians
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Samuo
FcSeeker Resident: Hello O
Korel Laloix: I was not planning on it, but I am considering it.
FcSeeker Resident: I'm no artist
SophiaSharon Larnia: me either, I just do it for fun
SophiaSharon Larnia: I think anyone can be an artist
Korel Laloix: I am realy not the creative type.
SophiaSharon Larnia: thats kind of putting a lot of pressure on the word 'artist' :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: i didnt think i was either, and still dont
oO0Oo Resident: agree Sophia, and Korel.. the poem you wrote and gave as a notecard was very moving... very well
done I felt.
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh i missed that
Korel Laloix: Thanks... I was just a bit angry when I wrote it.
oO0Oo Resident nods
Korel Laloix: And why I did not participate in the stuff yesterday.
SophiaSharon Larnia: listens
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
Korel Laloix: Feel free to pass it on if you like.
SophiaSharon Larnia: thank you
SophiaSharon Larnia: its a really messed up line to walk on there
Korel Laloix: I am not one to talk down to the way other people approach things...... but as Pab sat in silence yesterday stats suggest in the US alone, one child and one woman were abused to death.
SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
Korel Laloix: And there were probably around 50 rapes or sex assaults.
Korel Laloix: So instead yesterday, I managed to sign up 14 more for our womens' self defense class.
SophiaSharon Larnia: great
SophiaSharon Larnia: i didnt think of my sitting for an hour would diminish other work that I do
Korel Laloix: My personality likes action more than talk.
SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
--BELL--
Korel Laloix: Not saying it did, I just could not participate in that sort of appoach.
SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Bruce :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Bleu :)
FcSeeker Resident: hi Bleu
FcSeeker Resident: hi Bruce
Korel Laloix: Heya
Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Bruce, and Bleu :)
FcSeeker Resident: hi Susan
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Sharon, Bleu, Korel, and o.
Bruce Mowbray: and Fc!
Korel Laloix: osiyo
FcSeeker Resident: oh...I thought I saw Susan to appear
SophiaSharon Larnia: we were talking about silence day yesterday, and actions rather than talk
Bruce Mowbray listens to catch the drift.
Bleu Oleander: I think talk is good, but needs the action with it or it is meaningless to me
FcSeeker Resident: hi Zon
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Zon,
SophiaSharon Larnia: I agree Bleu
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Zon
Bleu Oleander: hi Zon
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Zon.
Korel Laloix: I was thinking of putting up another board, but not sure how I would do that?
SophiaSharon Larnia: another board with a poem on it?
Korel Laloix: Sort of.... just my take on peace.
Korel Laloix: And ask for inputs like the one that is up now did.
SophiaSharon Larnia: do you know any graphic software? Gimp is free
Korel Laloix: Yes, I know it.
Korel Laloix: I just don't know how to do it permissions wise.
SophiaSharon Larnia: place the texture on a prim after you upload it, oh i see
oO0Oo Resident: We could build it here now... if people were willing
Bruce Mowbray: You have permission to build here if you're a guardian. . .
Bleu Oleander: not sure about the PaB policy for displaying things, is that what you're asking Korel?
Korel Laloix: Ah.... lol.. and that is the issue.... I quit down to 8 groups and SL still tells me I have to drop groups to
add another.
SophiaSharon Larnia: ? we should have 42 groups
Korel Laloix: I guess that is my real question.
Bruce Mowbray: I am currently in 14 groups...
Zon Kwan: waves
Agatha Macbeth: Evening all
SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Aggers, Hi Arch :)
Bleu Oleander: is there a new limit on how many groups?
Korel Laloix: Any, if anyone wants a copy, I can give you the notecard... and then I can collect things you are interested in adding.
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Aggers and Arch.
Bleu Oleander: hey Aggers
Korel Laloix: I think SL is just being SL.
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, the new limit is 42 (not so new actually)
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Zon
oO0Oo Resident: Hiya Aggers and Arch :)
oO0Oo Resident: By Zon
Korel Laloix: Heya
Bleu Oleander: hi Arch
SophiaSharon Larnia: so to rez/build here, you'd need to part of the playasbeinghere group
Bruce Mowbray: I'd love a copy of your note card, Korel.
Korel Laloix: Enjoy, or not.
SophiaSharon Larnia: (gave bruce and bleu a notecard of what we talked about Korel)
Korel Laloix: OK
FcSeeker Resident: hi Archmage
FcSeeker Resident: hi Aggers
Archmage Atlantis: Hello
Agatha Macbeth strokes FC's head
--BELL--
Bleu Oleander: has everyone taken a copy of the Day of Peace poem? should I take it down now?
oO0Oo Resident: I have a copy thanks Bleu
SophiaSharon Larnia: i sure wasnt going to do it Bleu :)
Bleu Oleander: didn't want to leave it here too long
Bleu Oleander: but can if others would like it here

SophiaSharon Larnia: well, kinda
Agatha Macbeth: Yep
Agatha Macbeth: The journey from Aziluth to Assiah
SophiaSharon Larnia: i think my art project will be a wood prim
Agatha Macbeth smiles
SophiaSharon Larnia: called 'staring at a wood prim, waiting for inspiration'
Bleu Oleander: take care all :)
Agatha Macbeth: Nice boots Bleu
Bleu Oleander: thx :)
Agatha Macbeth waves
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Bleu, take care
Agatha Macbeth: Just trying to read what it says
FcSeeker Resident: waves to Bleu
SophiaSharon Larnia: ah, 2 notecards Bruce?
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, good
--BELL--
SophiaSharon Larnia: i meant textures
oO0Oo Resident:
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Samuo
Agatha Macbeth waves
FcSeeker Resident: waves to O
Korel Laloix: Just my thoughts on Peace, if anyone wants to add things they have done to "make peace" please let me know and I will add them.
Bruce Mowbray: bye, O
SophiaSharon Larnia: just have done volunteer work, nothing I could put on there
FcSeeker Resident: worked a bit more than 10 years for that among young people, but dont want that to been set onto any board
Korel Laloix: ok
Bruce Mowbray: I admire anyone who can put herself between the abuser and the person being abused . . . (especially if that is a child.)
SophiaSharon Larnia nods
Bruce Mowbray: One effective means of promoting non-violence is for someone to step between the warring parties - - and they might have a chance to think more about why they are fighting, and then stop it.
FcSeeker Resident: thinking one 10 year old boy who's mom was very bad to him often
Bruce Mowbray listens.
FcSeeker Resident: he asked me not to make any report because he prefere lives with mom and his babysister than in cold and hostile children home
FcSeeker Resident: that young man I saw to grow up to be very good father...
Bruce Mowbray: Fortunatetly, he was able to break the chain of abuse, Fc.
FcSeeker Resident: yes
Korel Laloix: And that is one thing that scares me.
Bruce Mowbray: all too often, abuse is passed along in the family -- father to son, and again in the next generation.
Korel Laloix: But it is also the only soft spot I have for my mother.. for her to treat me like she did, she must have had a rough life as a little girl.
Bruce Mowbray: With such awareness and compassion, Korel, you now have the power to break that chain.
Korel Laloix: Easy words to say, not so easy fears to erase.
--BELL--
SophiaSharon Larnia: theyre not
FcSeeker Resident: my mom was beaten...she didn't learn other way and was under hard work almost round o'clock when I was a child...
Bruce Mowbray: indeed, but there are many wonderful examples of folks who were able to break such chains . . .
FcSeeker Resident: so you can think how she treated me...
Bruce Mowbray: And YOU, Fc, are one of the most loving and non-violent folks around!
FcSeeker Resident: ..so it was easy for me to understand that boy because I thought the same as I still loved my mom and missed to her when had to be away from home
Agatha Macbeth: Time for me to leave grasshopper...
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Aggers
Agatha Macbeth: Adios
FcSeeker Resident: hi Aggers
Bruce Mowbray: Folks, I really don't want to leave this discussion, but I'm going to the Cafe to see if there's a WoK meeting today . . . and if not, I'll beback.
Bruce Mowbray: Bye for now.
FcSeeker Resident: mean; bye
Korel Laloix: ok... ciao.
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Bruce, and yes, thank you for the discussion
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm going to finish my project if I can, online time limited
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye for now
Korel Laloix: take care.
FcSeeker Resident: waves to Sophia
FcSeeker Resident: takes a humble bow
FcSeeker Resident: namaste
Korel Laloix: OK. I am off as well.. take care.
