[01:04] Korel Laloix: How about you?
[01:04] Bertram Jacobus: yes. so it must be very early in the morning at your place !
[01:05] Bertram Jacobus: about me ? what does that mean pls ? ;-)
[01:05] Korel Laloix: Where do you live?
[01:05] Bertram Jacobus: ah. cologne, germany, not far from the cologne cathedral - you know it ? :-)
[01:06] Korel Laloix: No... but been to Munchin and Stuttgart.

[01:06] Bertram Jacobus: there is a picture of it - very famous the cologne cathedral - in the museum here on the pab land ... :-)
[01:07] Korel Laloix: OH.. then I have seen it.
    [01:07] Bertram Jacobus: :-))
[01:07] Korel Laloix: I am not one that really pays attention to western arts much.
[01:07] Bertram Jacobus: it´s really an impressive building and - hughe
[01:08] Korel Laloix: But I do enjoy religious expression in any culture.
[01:08] Bertram Jacobus: oh. the american standard ? it´s said, that many if not most of americans are mainly interested in only the national life ... ?
[01:09] Bertram Jacobus: and not so much interested in the rest of the world *g+
[01:09] Korel Laloix: I don't think that is true, but I am First American. So Shakespear and Monet do not hold any cultural fashion for me.

    [01:10] Bertram Jacobus: but religion ... i find very ... questionable - i personally prefere - spirituality ...

[01:10] Korel Laloix: I am more attuneded to Zitkala-Za and RC Kakia.
[01:10] Korel Laloix: I have trying to figure out the lenguist meaning difference between religion and spirituality.
[01:11] Korel Laloix: Not a part of ENglish I full understand yet though I work on it.
[01:11] Bertram Jacobus: hmmm - i can imagine that there are beings which find positive aspects in both : the cultures of europe AND the indegene beings of america , for instance ...

[01:12] Korel Laloix: There are places with spiritual presence.

[01:12] Bertram Jacobus: in my understanding, religion is mostly or always linked with believe. spiritually must not have this aspect i guess and feel

[01:13] Bertram Jacobus: and i don´t know, what zitkala, za and rc kakia mean - sry ...
[01:13] Korel Laloix: I tend to think of the word religion as the human behavioral garbage* that grows up around a faith.
[01:13] Korel Laloix: * not sure garbage is the right word.

[01:13] Korel Laloix: They are FA artists.
[01:14] Bertram Jacobus: ah - my english has terrible big lacks - so don´t mind the words ! ;-)
[01:14] Bertram Jacobus: and what means fa pls ?
    [01:14] Korel Laloix: First American.
    [01:14] Bertram Jacobus: ah ! ...
[01:14] Korel Laloix: Or Native American may b a more familair term.
[01:15] Korel Laloix: I just preffer First American.
[01:16] Bertram Jacobus: so i see now and understand - ty ! :-)
    [01:16] Korel Laloix: No worries.
[01:17] Bertram Jacobus: you built a nice avatar - i like that

[01:17] Korel Laloix: Europeans have done some lovely things for the world, but som really terriable things as well..... and I find that there is a tendance to ignor one side or the other... Not sure I undestand that.
    [01:17] Korel Laloix: Thank you...
[01:17] Korel Laloix: RIght now I try to make my AV as close to me RL as I can.
    [01:18] Bertram Jacobus: i remember ...
[01:18] Bertram Jacobus: long time ago we said similar like this ... :-)
[01:18] Korel Laloix: When I first joined in 2005, i really did not care what myAV looked like.
[01:19] Korel Laloix: Then I sort of went through a Barbi phase, then a goth phase.
[01:19] Bertram Jacobus: and europe and it´s terrible and nice deeds ... it´s okay to know both i think, but important to go further i beleive ...
[01:19] Korel Laloix: The started drifting to wanting to look like me.
[01:19] Bertram Jacobus: sounds nice ... the sl development ... :-)
[01:20] Korel Laloix: Been in SL for a quarter of my life now... strange

[01:20] Bertram Jacobus: yes. i know that feeling. i´m in another net community since 2000 (!) ...
    [01:20] Korel Laloix: Cool...
[01:21] Korel Laloix: SL has been such a growing thing for me.
[01:21] Bertram Jacobus: and know some people from them and so big parts of their lifes now, only from the long time ...

[01:22] Bertram Jacobus: ah. sl takes too much time from me and above that, it is difficult, mostly to communicate in a foreign language i find ...

[01:22] Korel Laloix: If nothing else, SL has been great for my English.
[01:22] Korel Laloix: It is good though in someways.
[01:22] Bertram Jacobus: so i´m here only few, sadly ... - but it is ok for me - i hope, for others as well
[01:23] Korel Laloix: It is nice to learn about other perspectives though.. I do enjoy that.
[01:23] Bertram Jacobus: you life in the u.s. but english is not your native language ?

[01:23] Bertram Jacobus: yes. i agree : we meet here people from all over the world and can so meet new perspectives and views, angles ...

[01:24] Korel Laloix: English is my third language really.. but the one I use the most.
[01:24] Bertram Jacobus: and i am really happy with the pab group - so constantly, already since a long time !
[01:25] Korel Laloix: Been a while. yes.

    [01:26] Korel Laloix: Ciao.
[01:26] Korel Laloix: Thanks for teh chat.
[01:26] Bertram Jacobus: may all beings be happy ! ... :-)
    [01:26] Bertram Jacobus: and don´t hurry ! :o)
[01:26] Korel Laloix: I wont... smiles
