Archmage Atlantis: Not all are apes
Archmage Atlantis: Humankind faces a decision
Lucinda Lavender: and what do you feel the decision is about
    Archmage Atlantis: Fair question
Archmage Atlantis: The books are part of my answer
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...

    druth Vlodovic: ah
    Lucinda Lavender: yeah...
Lucinda Lavender: he came in with a list of books he had decided to read 5 years ago...
    druth Vlodovic: lol
druth Vlodovic: was he offering them around?
Lucinda Lavender: and after listing them...went on...
Lucinda Lavender: well he sugested that they were for a decision that human kind is making
druth Vlodovic: what sort of decision?
Lucinda Lavender: not sure but the list seemed to address good evil and the mind
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
druth Vlodovic: I choose evil, the clothes are niftier
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: more revealing perhap...
druth Vlodovic: isn't that what I said? 8)
    Lucinda Lavender: s
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
druth Vlodovic: my daughter's one frined has a habit of drawing pictures on her face and doing sort of quasi-goth
druth Vlodovic: after I got used to it I admired her courage
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
    Lucinda Lavender: little messages
druth Vlodovic: my sons groaned at the idea of going clothes shopping
    Lucinda Lavender: aw...
druth Vlodovic: I said "it's only because there is nothing worth buying for guys"
Lucinda Lavender: I remember those days...
druth Vlodovic: and remembered that not so long ago men primped themselves pretty well
    --BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: my son liked just a few clothes at a time...
Lucinda Lavender: like 2 pairs of pants and two shirts...
Lucinda Lavender: I say...second hand is the way to go...
    Lucinda Lavender: more imagination there
druth Vlodovic: well, I was looking, you see renaissance and such, guys wearing frills, wigs, makeup
    Lucinda Lavender: true
druth Vlodovic: really caring about their appearence
    Lucinda Lavender: :)))
druth Vlodovic: how we care for our bodies relates to how we care for our selves
Lucinda Lavender: what makes clothing fall into the favorite catagory...for me.. is color, softness, fit...and texture
druth Vlodovic: I was hunting for shorts again
druth Vlodovic: came to the conclusion that guys shorts are designed to make us look like idiots
    druth Vlodovic: it's strange really
druth Vlodovic: guys are sort of disposable in general
druth Vlodovic: if you need someone to risk their body or mind
druth Vlodovic: to throw themselves in harm's way
druth Vlodovic: you grab a guy
druth Vlodovic: good for heavy lifting and risks until they wear out
druth Vlodovic: I wonder if this is why guys clothes are drab, and why flashy clothes are considered "effeminate" and threatening
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...
druth Vlodovic: lol, sorry, I've been in a bad mood a lot lately
    Lucinda Lavender: all very interesting...
druth Vlodovic: what is your style RL? in general?
Lucinda Lavender: well...I wear skirts and leggings and tee shirts...very casual but with colors
    Lucinda Lavender: comfortable clothes...
    Lucinda Lavender: and yours?
druth Vlodovic: eh, recently I switched from T's to button ups, so I'd look more "technician" than grunt
druth Vlodovic: lol, which isn't true
    Lucinda Lavender: :))
druth Vlodovic: I collect funnt t-shirts but never wear them
Lucinda Lavender: as a preschool teacher I wear clthes that the children find interesting probably
druth Vlodovic: she shorts are new and purly functional
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...
druth Vlodovic: and can't rip bits off :)
Lucinda Lavender: it is hard to feel thrown into someone elses idea of "good"
    druth Vlodovic: hmm
Lucinda Lavender: what is one of your favorite tee shirts?
druth Vlodovic: what do you mean "somebody else' idea of good"?
    druth Vlodovic: the kids?
    druth Vlodovic: or the schoolboard
Lucinda Lavender: well...the fashions that are put out for popular clothing
    --BELL--
    Lucinda Lavender: the designers ....
druth Vlodovic: it is harder to ignore other people's opinions
druth Vlodovic: eventually I wonder if I even have any
    druth Vlodovic: of my own
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
    Lucinda Lavender: hard to know...
Lucinda Lavender: are these mine or the cultures?
druth Vlodovic: and when the designers decide something isn't fashionable they get militant about it
    Lucinda Lavender: :)))
druth Vlodovic: try to find high top jeans in a store
Lucinda Lavender: the ones that are available are very expensive...not you daughter's jeans is the brand I think
druth Vlodovic: yeah, I found out why guys get spare tires and women don't until later
Lucinda Lavender: that is whay I am a skirt wearer
druth Vlodovic: I used to think it was genetic lol
druth Vlodovic: well, it is diet too, I am just working on mine recently :)
Lucinda Lavender: what did you find out?
druth Vlodovic: high top jeans, they pack the tummy in just a little
druth Vlodovic: you see lots of girls these days with pouches and low rider jeans
druth Vlodovic: I went into a store the other day and glanced over at the women's section and realized I was shopping for druth :)
druth Vlodovic: then I tried imagining myself wearing some nice stuff
Lucinda Lavender: Glad we don't wear girdles any more...
druth Vlodovic: it was a peculiar exercise
    druth Vlodovic: 17" waist!
    druth Vlodovic: standard
    Lucinda Lavender: cool!
    Lucinda Lavender: serious lag again
    druth Vlodovic: "creaking whalebone" indeed
druth Vlodovic: "am I worth it?"
druth Vlodovic: a strange question :)
