[19:15] SophiaSharon Larnia: I saw fireworks last night, was enough for me
[19:16] iwandertoo Resident: the 4th is my favorite holiday
[19:17] iwandertoo Resident: but its a sort of pensive quiet type of holiday

[19:17] SophiaSharon Larnia: it occurs on the nicest part of the year, usually
[19:17] iwandertoo Resident: i love fireworks as well
[19:17] iwandertoo Resident: it has incredible significance
[19:18] SophiaSharon Larnia: me too, although it does smell pungent, I think that every year

[19:23] SophiaSharon Larnia: but remembering our fighting countrymen and the struggles of the past in regards to this nation, does make me think of it more
[19:23] SophiaSharon Larnia: life everyday, i forget, or it recedes

[19:27] SophiaSharon Larnia: how are tyhings here at PaB? Ive been away for a while and coming back is a little difficult for me at first, so easy to get out of the rhythm

[19:50] SophiaSharon Larnia: i was saying earlier how it seems humans need to belong to something, to have a group identity. Its hard to answer that truthfully without seeming horrible unpatriotic
[19:50] Ewan Bonham: Oh, I think that is soo true.
[19:51] SophiaSharon Larnia: esp since it sounded like a war zone here about an hour ago (fireworks)
[19:51] Ewan Bonham: It doesn't mean we would not be afilliated with our country or community..
[19:51] Ewan Bonham: But it does mean that the one day blast of comittment seems a bit hollow to me..

[19:52] SophiaSharon Larnia: the picnics and camederie are fun tho

[19:53] SophiaSharon Larnia: hambergers and hot dogs on the grill, red,white and blue flags on every house
[19:54] Ewan Bonham: And the patriotic tunes playing for the one day..:)

[19:55] iwandertoo Resident: very focused....but understand your point. how many people recognize how exceptional the founding fathers are
[19:55] iwandertoo Resident: how many consider this more than once a year
[19:55] iwandertoo Resident: and honor it
