On a spiritual journey to Egypt

Eden Haiku: I took quite an unexpected decision a few days ago.
Pema Pera: oh yes, some last cherry blossoms still here (of a late-blooming species, yae-zakura)
Eden Haiku: A giant leap, in fact :-)
    Pema Pera: yes, Eden?

Eden Haiku: I'm going on a spiritual journey to Egypt, leaving early next week. Back at the end of May...
    Pema Pera: WOW
    Lucinda Lavender: how very exciting!
    Pema Pera: what great timing!
Eden Haiku: Yes, I know. I'm so grateful.
Archmage Atlantis: Why did all guess, instead of waiting for Eden inform us?
Pema Pera: because I was impatient, Arch :-)
Pema Pera: do you have any particular plans already?
Lucinda Lavender: not sure I noticed having guessed:)
    Pema Pera: (@ Eden)
Archmage Atlantis: That is a good point, Lucinda.....is saying one listens guessing, or affirming
Eden Haiku: It's a very special journey from Aswan to Abou Simbel, Luxor, Mount Sinai , the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, with meditations on sites and teachings every morning in the gardens of our hotels.
Pema Pera: what kind of teachings?
    Eden Haiku: Hum....
Eden Haiku: Translating in my mind...
Eden Haiku: Everything is in French which is wonderful.
    Pema Pera: how nice!
Pema Pera: what made you decide so suddenly, if I may ask?
Eden Haiku: Took many teachings in my life, buddhists, hindus...First time I'm taking teachings in French :-)
Pema Pera: must be more direct that way . . .
Eden Haiku: It came from deep inside, an impulse from within.
    Pema Pera: (^_^)
Eden Haiku: I have been meditating with this group for only a few months (February in fact).
Eden Haiku: I travelled in Egypt 28 years ago, so I know the sites already. Except Mount Sinai.
    Alfred Kelberry: wuff!

    Agatha Macbeth: Ah...
Riddle Sideways: ah, needed to ask how ya'll get onigokko to NOT be a little tail?
Riddle Sideways: do you attach differently?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, it was one of the mails that got my attention at least
Alfred Kelberry: i think it's invisible
Agatha Macbeth: Riddle, you can wear an invisible one
Yakuzza Lethecus: i often wonder if i should seek for ,,the right way" the right truth
Alfred Kelberry: view of no view
    Alfred Kelberry: i missed that
Bleu Oleander: is there a right way or right truth?
    Archmage Atlantis: still here,,,,but confused
Alfred Kelberry: yaku, i try to :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, what you mentioned with the concept of flow the other week also got my attention bleu
Alfred Kelberry: when you run a program and it crashes - it's not the right way :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i often get stuck not knowing how to start right
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Alfred Kelberry: i think when you start, it's not about making it right, but about... well, starting it :)
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, agree, boxy.....and being willing to suffer/accept the slings and arrows
Yakuzza Lethecus: when i consciously think of things i get usually out of a "flow" when i ,,just do" which often feels no viewish then it's even get have some enlightening moments, sometimes
    Agatha Macbeth: Of outrageous fortune?
Riddle Sideways: some say... it is best to start at the beginning
Archmage Atlantis: Left bit off on purpose, Aggers
    Alfred Kelberry: riddlish riddle :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Riddle Sideways: that is according to OZ and sound of music
Agatha Macbeth: What about the beginning of the end?
Riddle Sideways: yep, start at the end
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, starting in the end
Riddle Sideways: you stand upon giants.... now go forth
Archmage Atlantis: In every instant, there is a beginning and an end....Horatio....uh, Aggers
Riddle Sideways: you have been raised up to this point. now go
Agatha Macbeth: Is the beginning of the end same as the end of the beginning?
    Archmage Atlantis: Yes
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, that was an interesting concept pema brought up on malta, that when you see how easy things actually are it would have never been that hard to achieve em at all, at least "if" i understood that correctly
Agatha Macbeth: Or is that just the middle?
Riddle Sideways: ha Aggers, it only depends on your point of view

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Ok
Archmage Atlantis: The true riddle is that both views can be true

Agatha Macbeth: Maybe Eden can ask the sphinx when she gets there

Riddle Sideways: do we see the glass at the start or the end
Riddle Sideways: at the end of pouring/filling our glass, we can start drinking
Alfred Kelberry: i say you start (no matter where) and then context builds up and from it your understanding and experience. then you obtain intuition and know where to go.
Agatha Macbeth: Sounds good to me
Riddle Sideways: yes, where ever you go
    Riddle Sideways: there you are
Archmage Atlantis: Sounds young to me
    Agatha Macbeth: Neil Young?
    Alfred Kelberry: :)

Agatha Macbeth: He was in Dr Who
Agatha Macbeth: Richard Nixon in Dr Who, can you believe it?
    Agatha Macbeth: Why not JFK?
Yakuzza Lethecus: Well, i guess the question of " will i be remembered" wouldn't have had caused a smile
Agatha Macbeth: I would have smiled...
    Agatha Macbeth pulls Boxy's tail
    Alfred Kelberry: :P
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, a barking sound or some grumbling is missing as soon as someone touches the bone
    Yakuzza Lethecus: or tail
Alfred Kelberry: good idea, yaku :)
Agatha Macbeth: I'm not touching his bone!
Alfred Kelberry: but then aga would constantly try to sneak my bone :)
