Bertrum Resident: East coast is often hot and humid.
Lucinda Lavender: so true...I am coming from a cool and damp place too
Lucinda Lavender: hard to figure out how much to take for clothing
Lucinda Lavender: but very nice to have a little warmth
Lucinda Lavender: we have only had yet a couple of spring like days
Bertrum Resident: Sounds like you're pretty far north!
Lucinda Lavender: Pacific Northwest
Lucinda Lavender: next to canada
Lucinda Lavender: just the kind of weather pattern...this is somewhat unusual
Lucinda Lavender: how cool and cloudy and damp
Lucinda Lavender: seeing this morning's paper has be really sad for the tornado devastation
Bertrum Resident: Yes, it's tragic. The weather in the Plains and Mid-west is sometimes extreme. Seems like it has become more extreme in recent years.
Lucinda Lavender: yes! climate issues I suppose...
Bertrum Resident: Yes.
Bertrum Resident: Hoefully, you'll have good weather when you trave east.

Lucinda Lavender: it will involve moving my daughter to NYC as well
Lucinda Lavender: so that will be a big task in a short time

Lucinda Lavender: thinking about how much the trip increases my concern and attention on the future

SophiaSharon Larnia: ill see, i havent decided yet, but a good oppurtunity opened up
Bertrum Resident: It might be very rewarding to do a job like that--one that is so meaningful.
SophiaSharon Larnia: abd i seem to be flowing that way without having to try

SophiaSharon Larnia: im too empathetic at times, as a means to protect myself from that, i get irritable
SophiaSharon Larnia: i dont know if that makes sense
Lucinda Lavender: yes it sure does
Lucinda Lavender: going back and forth from empathy to overwhelm
SophiaSharon Larnia: these are some damaged children, and well, i'm a bit damaged myself
Lucinda Lavender: well it is a great opportunity to build a foundation of how you approach and work with healing
Bertrum Resident: Your your then has the potential to be healing--for you and for the children.
Lucinda Lavender: yes..
Lucinda Lavender: I gravitated to the field in the same way
