Wol Euler: Mac-like means to me that it recovers from recoverable errors
Wol Euler: like when the router goes offline, then returns
Wol Euler: and indeed my Mac Mini did just that
Wol Euler: but my laptop didn't it panicked. "OMG the router died!" and refused to look for it again

Qt Core: love the birds too, hate them when the star singing in rl between 3 and 4 am and i haven't yet been able to fall asleep

Qt Core: i clearly remember when i started loving the bird singing, some 25 years ago :-)

Qt Core: i was ging to school by feet, at around 6am (we were going to a school trip) and passing near some trees i heard some birds
Qt Core: i "responded" whistling
Qt Core: and they responded
Qt Core: and i stopped here and we whistled/singed to each other for some times

Qt Core: that scene often pop um in my mind when silence happen here and the birds "come up"
Wol Euler: I can see why. It's lovely to connect like that, and so unexpected
Wol Euler: I noticed today that some migratory songbirds have returned.
Wol Euler: one in particular caught my eye, sparrow-sized with a long pointed tail in a brightish red-brown, only visible when flying as it was obscured by its wings when it walked
Qt Core: don't know if they are migratory or not but i noticed some more bird flaying around these days too

Qt Core: another pastime of mine is wondering how to explain (and the reaction to that) moder technology to ancient people, even smart ones, let say Leonardo da Vinci (there is a "famous" italian movie scene where they tray to explain trains to Leonardo and he can't get it (it is a comedic movie)

Qt Core: maybe he suffer from the excessive script resource use too and miss some of its "turns"
