Eliza Madrigal: I just read the session 'emanating blu-ness' this morning....
Eliza Madrigal: wonderful to see how we all enrich one another
Eliza Madrigal: Bleu in that session, working on her report :))
Eliza Madrigal: then later in the day 'not easy/ not difficult'
Eliza Madrigal: And ooO0Ooo sounding like Groucho "on the other hand there are no hands"
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)

Eliza Madrigal: Thanks for lingering with me this morning Bruce... how are you feeling?
Eliza Madrigal: (not sure where Luci is, perhaps sleepy, so early for her)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Druth :)
    druth Vlodovic: hi eliza, bruce
druth Vlodovic: you're going to get hyper from all that coffee :)

Bruce Mowbray: I was dizzier this morning than usual -- saw the ENT specialist two days ago and an adiologist yesterday -- Still a way to go with the healing process, I guess.
Eliza Madrigal: :) am starting to feel a bit jumpy now that you mention it
Bruce Mowbray: afk for a few minutes.
    druth Vlodovic: hb
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, glad you are seeing the right helpers though Bruce
Eliza Madrigal: and sure, no worries :)
Eliza Madrigal: "we need each other's magic"
Eliza Madrigal: (and a little coffee doesn't hurt)
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    druth Vlodovic: :)

Eliza Madrigal: How is your day so far Druth?
druth Vlodovic: so far so good
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Susan! :)
    druth Vlodovic: peaceful
    druth Vlodovic: hi sue
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    druth Vlodovic ripples
druth Vlodovic: but eliza sloshes :)
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
Eliza Madrigal: have been getting back into a practice of lingering in bed in the morning until I can walk into the day peacefully
Eliza Madrigal: but yes, eventually comes the dancing, hehe

druth Vlodovic: it is nice to have that time to feel the world outside your window
druth Vlodovic: though it makes the day shorter
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: well the feeling is that of getting 'friendly' with everything... taking the time to tune in, to appreciate life 'first thing'
Eliza Madrigal: My meme , and my mother later, used to say "Arise and shine, the day is new" in a little sing-song... opening curtains...
Eliza Madrigal: were I wealthy I would hire someone to wake me that way, heheh
druth Vlodovic: "time to get up, time to get up, time to get up in the mooorning!"
Eliza Madrigal: hehe! yes, that feeling
druth Vlodovic: my mom was more the morning person than I was lol
    Eliza Madrigal: clanging dishes?
Eliza Madrigal: that's a fun sound first thing too

    druth Vlodovic: singing
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: How are you doing, Susan?
Eliza Madrigal: (may have wandered away) ;-)
druth Vlodovic: she does wander too
    iwandertoo Resident: sorry...here
Eliza Madrigal: yes, she warned us :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi :))
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
    iwandertoo Resident: doing well, thanks.
Eliza Madrigal: new work is satisfying?

iwandertoo Resident: perhaps it will be

    Qt Core: hi All!
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
    druth Vlodovic: hi QT
Eliza Madrigal: :) nice outlook Susan
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Qt! wow
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: rare to see you on a weekday 7am session, and lovely
    Qt Core: :-)

druth Vlodovic: "Ohh, what a wonderful moorning! what a beautiful daay!" sing this each day as you walk in
Eliza Madrigal: "I've got a beautiful feeling everything's goin' my way"
    Eliza Madrigal: damn musicals, hahha
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: Qt, how is life?
    Eliza Madrigal takes temperature
Qt Core: having just awoken from a afternoon nap i wuld say good ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: very nice
    Qt Core: yours ?
Eliza Madrigal: We were talking about greeting the day :) So though it is afternoon we are all in step perhaps
Eliza Madrigal: (afternoon for you, but with nap ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: I'm a bit giggly this morning actually
druth Vlodovic: funny, I couldn't tell at all 8-)
Eliza Madrigal: too much coffee and a wonderful last "time" session
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I mis-quoted my own mother/meme... it was "Arise and shine, the world is new!" :) hm

Qt Core: well, i'm having a good plan for the (rest of the) day, a walk in a sunny afternoon to the post office, cooking some eggplants in one of my fav dishes and an astronomy lesson to attend at my amateur astronomy club, and then maybe going to a pub with fellow club members

Eliza Madrigal: wow, quite a full day!
Eliza Madrigal: good that you took a nap!
Eliza Madrigal: What is the dish you are making?
Qt Core: a slightly lighter version of "parmigiana di melanzane"
    Eliza Madrigal: sounds intriguing
    Eliza Madrigal salivates

    --BELL--

Qt Core: main ingredients, eggplant, cheese, tomato sauce, eggs and bread crumbs
Qt Core: you may think about lasagne but using eggplnt slices instead of pasta
    Eliza Madrigal: Ohhh
    Eliza Madrigal: sounds wonderful!
Eliza Madrigal: you know last year in windhorse, we ate zuchini noodles...

druth Vlodovic: I remember seeing large bulbour purple things in my uncles garden, and being intrigued by the idea of actually eating one lol

    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Bruce Mowbray has an urgent Gmail issue to take care of . . . Sorry to dash off, but I MUST change passwords, etc. immediately. Everyone have a safe an happy weekend!
    druth Vlodovic: "noodles"?
    druth Vlodovic: good luck bruce
    Qt Core: bye Bruce
Eliza Madrigal: you too Bruce! Hope it all sorts smoothly
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
Bruce Mowbray: TY -- I think it will be all right.
Eliza Madrigal: @Druth, yes.... they used a spcial cutter...

Qt Core: http://www.lifeinitaly.com/food/melanzane-alla-parmigiana (but i don't fry the eggplant, that's why i call it lighter)
Eliza Madrigal: peeled through zuchinni the way one might an apple... making wonderful noodles.... then used an alfredo sauce, but light
    Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Qt
Eliza Madrigal: without frying the eggplant, does it become a bit mushy?
Qt Core: yes, you may let them bake a little longer
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: I've been trying to get this recipe right: http://www.eatingbirdfood.com/2010/02/mayan-harvest-bake-recipe/
Eliza Madrigal: mine turns out too sweet
Eliza Madrigal: interesting title of her site "Eating Bird Food", hah
    Qt Core: (thinking about condors)
Eliza Madrigal: I wonder if there was a topic others thought to raise today... don't mean to go on and on ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: condors?
Eliza Madrigal: ah :) hah, took a second

druth Vlodovic: well, we started on determining a style of consciousness for starting the day and moved on to nourishment

druth Vlodovic: do you have one?

    Eliza Madrigal: 'the simple things'
Eliza Madrigal: basic things, ordinary magic :)
Eliza Madrigal: that's sort of an extension of this morning too, and incorporates the discussion so far I guess

druth Vlodovic: hmm, I know what "simple things" feel like, but I'm not sure what they are

    Eliza Madrigal: say more?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Xirana :)
    Qt Core: hi Xirana
Xirana Oximoxi: hi Eliza, druth, Qt, and Susan:)
    iwandertoo Resident: waves

druth Vlodovic: umm, I guess sort of quiet-happy, almost like contentment, but can be busy too

    druth Vlodovic: hi Xir
    Eliza Madrigal: no sure recipe?
Eliza Madrigal: used to think 'peaceful' = stagnant I think
druth Vlodovic: what is your recipie for "ordinary magic"? :)
druth Vlodovic: yes, a western cultural bias
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: and also trying to read something or someone from 'outside'... see a 'peaceful' figure

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: Storm used the phrase 'ecstatic nowness'
Eliza Madrigal: so some sense of dynamic stillness
Eliza Madrigal: maybe 'busy' but also not busy in the busy?
Eliza Madrigal would love to hear everyone's thoughts

Qt Core: don't know if i understtod, but at the moment i'm thinking about birds chirping outside my window (especially in this season when said window is open)
    Eliza Madrigal: thank you qt!
Qt Core: as they are somewhat reassuring about the world still being there when i awoke in the morning (or as today in the afternoon :)) something always present but almost always different

Xirana Oximoxi: I have no idea what 'ecstatic nowness' can be.... maybe when you stop for a moment and feel especially good?

    milakel Resident: hi :)
    druth Vlodovic: brb
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Mila:)
    Qt Core: hi milakel
    Xirana Oximoxi: *decir
Eliza Madrigal: it is a peculiar phrase, isn't it...
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mila, lovely dress
    milakel Resident: thank you :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes it is stopping, but that not necessarily meaning not engaging..
Eliza Madrigal: something like that, the way I'm hearing it...
Eliza Madrigal: birdsong in infinite variety :)

Eliza Madrigal: Mila we've talked about several things today... greeting the day, cooking, bird food and song
Eliza Madrigal: :) and also the usual 'whats the topic", topic
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)

milakel Resident: ah, thank you for heads up :)
Eliza Madrigal: (feel free to change course or throw something new into the mix)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Susan, nice to see you.
Xirana Oximoxi: bye Susan, have a nice day
    Qt Core: bye susan

milakel Resident: have you heard of a new joint darpa + nasa venture to send human to the stars in 100 years?

milakel Resident: i sure hope it'll happen sooner :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, no, please say more :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes 100 years may not work for me
Xirana Oximoxi: oh! me either... I probably will not be here ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
milakel Resident: i just read an announcement
Qt Core: without some improbable progress in propulsion, once you depart it'll take several generations to get to the nearby star
Eliza Madrigal: when I hear the word 'improbable' it seems very energetic
    Eliza Madrigal: like a dare
milakel Resident: qt, i think we need an entirely new tech here
Qt Core: more then a new tech new physycs ;-)
milakel Resident: some space warping maybe :)

    --BELL--

    Qt Core: ( i didn't say that ;-) )
Eliza Madrigal: doesn't it seem that there is always much more than we can calculate, so one little shift or discovery might open everything in a flash
    milakel Resident: infinite knowledge :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: and ways for all the knowledges to collaborate and harmonize dynamically as one, without getting in each others way but rather facilitating, opening
Qt Core: but the idea of generational spaceships that would travel for decades isn't so wrong, there are even paople that thinks that we have to stop havilng all the eggs in one basket (so to speak) to make humankind able to survive if the earth blows up (asteroid or nuclear war)
Eliza Madrigal: and false assumption that we have to make a crisis in order to have a reason to explore

milakel Resident: qt, yea... i'm all for space exploration. in its various forms :)

Eliza Madrigal: though, some do say deadlines are useful, :)
Qt Core: but then asteroid and nearby planets/moons would be easier
milakel Resident: well, crisis does help
Eliza Madrigal: to mobilize resources... but I do think that is just because a better way of reasoning hasn't opened...
Eliza Madrigal: What IS going on with the asteroid exploration?
Qt Core: a couple nasa mission i think but not sure, there is Rosetta headed for a close encounters in a few years but with a comet, not an asteroid
Eliza Madrigal: all very interesting, but seems slow going from the outside looking in :)
Eliza Madrigal: maybe we should stop having wars, be more constructive :)
    Qt Core: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/da...ion/index.html
Xirana Oximoxi: I think the best technology we have is because of investigation on weapons, army investigations...like internet, gps, chips ... saddly
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: crisis
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks Qt
Eliza Madrigal: I'll have to get going .... have been here since quite early and am sort of jumpy in my seat :)
Xirana Oximoxi: Bye Eliza, have a nice day!!! I also go... sp, see you soon all:)
Eliza Madrigal: So nice to see you all :) Enjoy the (hopefully peaceful) day
Qt Core: here current nasa missions: http://www.nasa.gov/missions/current/index.html
Xirana Oximoxi: wow nice dress too Eliza!!!
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Qt Core: bye Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: ty so much :) fun to wear this one
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: bye bye
Eliza Madrigal: thanks for the links qt... can tell people are following hem (away)
    Eliza Madrigal: *them
Eliza Madrigal: Have a fun astronomy dinner, etc
    Qt Core: :-)

    --BELL--

    milakel Resident: ok, i'm off
Qt Core: i'll go too before
    milakel Resident: thanks
Qt Core: the post office close
    Qt Core: bye mila
milakel Resident: you've got mail, qt? :)
Qt Core: hi (and bye) lucinda
    milakel Resident: luci :)
Qt Core: things to pay mostly ;-)
    milakel Resident: ok, have fun
Lucinda Lavender: HI...I have woken up late again and missed my session!
milakel Resident: luci, you're cute :)
Lucinda Lavender: need a thursday evening reminder I guess...bye everyone leaving..
    Qt Core: :-) bye
Lucinda Lavender: does anyone know who claimed the session?
milakel Resident: i think eliza backed you up
Qt Core: buce or eliza i think
    Lucinda Lavender: oh phew!
Lucinda Lavender: thank you again Eliza!!
milakel Resident: hehe, she's enchanting one :)
    milakel Resident: ok, see you!
