stevenaia Michinaga: I was jsut busy filling out 2 days of journals for the 99 days, was too busy to remember to be consistent yesterday, so I wrote what I did before I went to sleep...after midnight

stevenaia Michinaga: so I did my meditation before I went to sleep
stevenaia Michinaga: and after I woke up
Aphrodite Macbain: nice
stevenaia Michinaga: haven't slept 8 hours except on weekends :)
Aphrodite Macbain: have you noticed any change when you meditate just before sleeping?
Aphrodite Macbain: Do you have better dreams?
stevenaia Michinaga: well since my meditation is doing Tai Chi, I "thought" tai chi before I slept, I find I can't remember it like I can do it

Aphrodite Macbain: You have a good memory and imagination
stevenaia Michinaga: then I thought,.... wonders if you can do the same with meditation.... thinking about not thinking :)
stevenaia Michinaga: rather than not thinking
stevenaia Michinaga: scratched head
Aphrodite Macbain: thinking about not thinking is still thinking
stevenaia Michinaga: not that meditation is not thinking, just something diffrent
stevenaia Michinaga: maybe a pointless excercise if you aren't thinking about moving, like visulaizing a dance, each step, each hand position
Aphrodite Macbain: they say it is an excellent way to rehearse, imagining your moves- it creatwes those neural pathways from a different angle... or something
stevenaia Michinaga: pehaps during the first break we can think about going to the fridge... one movement at a time... then the second break we cantually "get" the icecream out of the freezer to see if it taste the same :)

stevenaia Michinaga: nods, or that if the trip is to far, I don't think I can get there in 90 seconds anyway, thinking about geting up off the chair and all those steps
Paradise Tennant: sigh .. who knew becoming more aware would be so caloric ?
stevenaia Michinaga: everything I do is high coloric
Aphrodite Macbain: perhaps getting up out of the chair and going downstairs and back up again would be calory neutral
stevenaia Michinaga: depends what you return with
Paradise Tennant: maybe having the ice cream then dancing with the dog for 20 minutes would even it out .. he likes to dance :)

stevenaia Michinaga: the hardest part was avaioding the cat because I ddn;t remember to look to see if he was there before I sat down
