    stevenaia Michinaga: today, it was my first Mass

    stevenaia Michinaga: nice organist and singer, but the things you mention were very interesting
    Alfred Kelberry: not many catholic friends?
    stevenaia Michinaga: not that I go to church with, although my spouse went to catholic school
    stevenaia Michinaga: but is not catholic
    stevenaia Michinaga: (they let anyone in back then
    Alfred Kelberry: how was it different from what you're used to?
    stevenaia Michinaga: totally
    Alfred Kelberry: what is your church?
    stevenaia Michinaga: went to Jewish and catholic funeral in one week
    stevenaia Michinaga: not much talk about christ in jewish fineral

    Alfred Kelberry: i've only been to a few
    stevenaia Michinaga: there's the whole communion thing
    stevenaia Michinaga: very foreign to me
    Alfred Kelberry: was it uncomfortable?
    stevenaia Michinaga: first time I saw it, not at all, the insence thing was cool
    stevenaia Michinaga: incense
    stevenaia Michinaga: the everyone turned around and shook each other's hand and said peace be with you

    stevenaia Michinaga: I remember my first "viewing" that was bizzare
    stevenaia Michinaga: strange seeing an old friend in a casket
    stevenaia Michinaga: a friend of mine was killed iin a bike accident was buried in a wicker casket chemical free, very similar to jewish burials, infact the jewish caskets are unfinished pine and burried in contact with the earth
    stevenaia Michinaga: no formaldyhide, most cemetary are toxic
