The Guardian for this meeting was Eliza Madrigal, joined by Eden, Wilfrid, Riddle, Bleu, Zen, oO0Oo, and Sunshine. :) I highly suggest reading down to catch the flow which will carry you into music session where you will learn much of el duende! :)) The few comments so far are by Eliza Madrigal....

Eden Haiku: Good morning sunny Eliza;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Morning Eden! I didn't see you at first!eden 6-8_001.jpg
    Eden Haiku: smiles
Eliza Madrigal: You look so lovely!
Eden Haiku: Thank you, so do you! I love summer dresses ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: I was a little preocupied, seeing 14 people gathered on the map
Eliza Madrigal: and wondering what was up :) doesn't seem pab though
Eden Haiku: Me too ;-) Some Japanese meeting, I flew over there,,,
Eliza Madrigal: I've only recently begun to pay attention to maps... Ooohhh... Kira Japan!
    Eden Haiku: Maybe Kira Japan?
    Eden Haiku: snap
Eliza Madrigal: yes, that makes sense. They are a very active group!
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh

Eliza Madrigal: So talk to me... How is 'integration' going?
Eden Haiku: Excellent, thanks. You were right about "stertching capacity", I got clear about my decision.
Eden Haiku: Gee, I always write looong sentences,,,
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh?
Eliza Madrigal: I love long sentences :)
    Eden Haiku: yes
Eden Haiku: hehe a novelist habit I guess
Eden Haiku: yes, so I made up my mind.
    Eden Haiku: To stretch capacity
    Eliza Madrigal: Yay :))
Eliza Madrigal: It sounds like a restful trip, actually
Eden Haiku: So I'm going to Tadoussac as scheduled;-)
Eden Haiku: Restful, not really...Lots of powerful intense visualizations.
Eden Haiku: But then, you settle into your deeper self.
    Eden Haiku: So that's restful.
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, well whales seem restful....
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Eliza Madrigal: :) Happy for you
Eden Haiku: Yes, the whales will help I'm sure.

Eden Haiku: Is it very hot in Miami Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: when my daughter couldn't sleep I would put on either ocean tapes or the sounds of whales....
Eliza Madrigal: Terribly, Eden :( and no rain....
Eden Haiku: Oh nice. Old creatures these whales, with prehistoric memories....
Eliza Madrigal: we are due for some but Miami is parched
Eden Haiku: Riddle-san, nice to see you ;-)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Eden, Eliza
Eden Haiku: Montreal is very hot today too. Feels like Miami;-)
Eden Haiku: But no ocean to dip in...
Eliza Madrigal: :)) One thing is really nice.... that everything is still blooming and the mangos are amazing

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Riddle! :)
Riddle Sideways: ah when the mango are in blossom
Eden Haiku: Mangos, lucky you. Those are soooo delicious....
Riddle Sideways: ah when the mangos fall on your head
Eden Haiku: A fruit from heaven...
Eliza Madrigal: they're a great pleasure :) the teens that come over have been sent home with some.... they act like they are given gold coins!
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Eden Haiku: Wonders what Newton would have discovered if a mango fell on his head instead of an apple...
Eliza Madrigal: he may have been too delighted eating to have thought much about how things work
Eden Haiku: Oh how nice of you Eliza, to distribute a wealth of mangos to youngsters!
Riddle Sideways: there is a park in south Miami, or at least there was
Riddle Sideways: a tropical fruit park
    Riddle Sideways: thank you google
Eliza Madrigal: :)) Well it is fun... and fun to see how much they appreciate things like that... so basic and available in the right seasons :)
    Eden Haiku: yummm
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, true Riddle.... hehe
Eliza Madrigal: I was going to ask when you've visited!
Riddle Sideways: the Fruit and Spice Park
Eliza Madrigal: Fruit and Spice park
    Riddle Sideways: in Homestead
    Eliza Madrigal: :) yes
Riddle Sideways: have you been there
Eliza Madrigal: I live very close to Homestead actually
Riddle Sideways: does it still exist?
Eliza Madrigal: my grandfather had property there, and yes that park is still there
Riddle Sideways: what a most wonderful park
Eliza Madrigal: there is a winery, that makes avacado wine...
    Eliza Madrigal: (in homestead)
Riddle Sideways: just a nice walk through tropical fruit trees
Riddle Sideways: picking and sampling some
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, yes...
Eliza Madrigal: nearly like "Eden" but need more 'cool of the day'

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: my daughter participated in making the world's largest guacamole, at the winery I mentioned
Eden Haiku: Are you simply ruthed Riddle or did you switch genders? My viewer shows you as a woman in your usual outfit though...With cute freckles...
    Riddle Sideways: http://fruitandspicepark.org/friends/
    Riddle Sideways: or
    Riddle Sideways: http://www.floridaplants.com/fruit&spice/
Riddle Sideways: [been trying to get gender neutral
Eden Haiku: You live in paradise Eliza, such abundance!
    Riddle Sideways: *]
    Eliza Madrigal: :) likes freckles
Riddle Sideways: too much sun = freckles
Eliza Madrigal: yes I see Riddle the same
Eliza Madrigal: You know, I really do Eden.... have a rekindled love affair with my 'place'
Eliza Madrigal: what a treasure :)
Eden Haiku: Might be time for me to switch viewers but I cannot find my way around in Viewer 2. No searching engine...
Eden Haiku: had the same problem with Zen Monday, why seeing him Ruthed...
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, is search box on top bar
Eliza Madrigal: yes I often have this issue with the men lately
Eden Haiku: Bear with me please. I will try to come back in Phoenix. Phoenix is easier. Ah you do to?
Riddle Sideways: :) men are hard to see
Eden Haiku: Are you in Viewer1 also?
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Eliza Madrigal: I'm in Phoenix

Eden Haiku: hehe Riddle... Maybe ytour feminine souls are coming out? that,s good ;-)
Riddle Sideways: femine side is good, but want to get to gender neutral
Eden Haiku: Oh well, I will just adjust to seeimng the sacred feminine in Riddle then. I like freckles too ;-)
Riddle Sideways: SL is very hard to do that in
    Eliza Madrigal: that's true...
    Eliza Madrigal: RL too :)
Eden Haiku: Gender neutral works only when you are a whirling light it seems ;-)

SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Eliza, Eden, and Riddle
Eden Haiku: Good morning Sharon ;-)
Riddle Sideways: yes, probably will go back to swirl
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sharon :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi SS
Eden Haiku: Let me bring my male avatar in Phoenix to see if he gets ruthed. He's called Wilfrid and have been dormant for months now...
Eliza Madrigal: :)) will be nice to see Wilfrid again
    Eliza Madrigal: he's very energetic
Riddle Sideways: men can be so dormant
Eliza Madrigal: I've had dozens of topics on my mind but come here and hm...

Riddle Sideways: is anybody else trying the 'be nice' for a day thing Pema wrote?

SophiaSharon Larnia: I know what you mean Eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: well, I've been trying that for a few years now Riddle....
    Eliza Madrigal: in a way
Riddle Sideways: yep, riddle has too
    Eliza Madrigal: BUT...
Riddle Sideways: Hi Wilfrid, (not ruthed)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, Hi Wilfrid, ltns.... Good to stretch your legs, eh?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Wilifred
    SophiaSharon Larnia: heh
Wilfrid Resident: Hey! Good morning ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: I was thinking about something... which is that one sort of builds up intention.... that you 'aim' to suspend judgement/be nice... but at some point maybe it 'kicks in'
Eliza Madrigal: without trying, and that seems authentic, though 'auto-pilot'
SophiaSharon Larnia: becomes a natural focus, Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: wonderful way of saying it Sharon!
Eden Haiku: what do you mean exactly Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: hm... maybe in the same way as 'practice' becomes 'life'...
Riddle Sideways: when forced/trying become natural/auto-pilot
Eliza Madrigal: (not to say I'm 'there' but have experienced moments of niceness taking over)
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Eden Haiku: A feeling of being in the flow maybe Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: so a phrase that has come to mind is 'feed the auto-pilot' but that sounds so cold....?

Riddle Sideways: yes, yesterday was trying sooooo hard, when somebody came in and of course I snapped at them :(

Eliza Madrigal: mmmm, yes, like one is 'locked in' or carried along in a free way @ Eden
    --BELL--
    Eliza Madrigal: Aw (((Riddle))))
SophiaSharon Larnia: in a way, doing that mindfully for me is is like always being in a play. Feels like a role.
Wilfrid Resident: Like when are yourself completely yet feeling you synchronize beautifully with others?

Riddle Sideways: did your world views just go pitch black?
Eliza Madrigal: mmm, nods @ Wilfried...
Eden Haiku: It did Riddle :-)
    Riddle Sideways: this is different
    Eden Haiku: Completely dark?
Riddle Sideways: ah back to daytime now
Eliza Madrigal: Hmm, things were fine for me
Riddle Sideways: another total eclipse (were we talking about graphics still?)
Eden Haiku: Some dementors around maybe Riddle?
Eden Haiku: As you talked about snapping...
    Eliza Madrigal: alligators...

    Zen Arado: Hi Suni :)
Eden Haiku: We feel so guilty when it happens don,T we? Yet it happens to all of us...
Riddle Sideways: here comes the sun
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Zen, hi Sun
    Zen Arado: Hi all
Eliza Madrigal: Hey Zen :) Hey Sun :)
Riddle Sideways: here comes the zen
Eden Haiku: hello Sun and Zen...
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Eden ;))

Eliza Madrigal: We've been having an interesting conversation, but hard to sum it up
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: am thinking Reality is not a very stable concept
Eden Haiku: Zen lloks ruthed in Viewer 1 and normal in Phoenix.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :) Riddle
Eden Haiku: reality is a consensus.
Sunshine Vayandar: and Liz, Sharon, Riddle Wilfrid ;)
Eden Haiku: We can stride from it once in a while...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: as consensus goes... some of you are not voting well today
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Wilfrid Resident: yes Eden, Zen looks normal to me.
Riddle Sideways: zen looks ok, Sun is ruthed
Eliza Madrigal: yes Zen looks normal to me as well, but Sunshine is grey
Eliza Madrigal: maybe it will rain
    Eden Haiku: Voting?
Sunshine Vayandar: Zen looks zenly ;)
Sunshine Vayandar: I try to rebake
Eden Haiku: "Maybe it will rain..." @Eliza, you sound like an oracle ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: The sentence is so poetic...
Eden Haiku: 'Maybe it will rain...'
Riddle Sideways: and so it rains
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi blu
    Sunshine Vayandar: Liz Almighty ;))
    Sunshine Vayandar: Hi Blue ;p)
    Bleu Oleander: hi all :)
    Eden Haiku: Bonjour Bleu ;-)
    Zen Arado: Hi Bleu :)
    Wilfrid Resident: Hi Bleu!
Eliza Madrigal: Sunshine is indeed raining!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Bleu
    Eliza Madrigal: amazing
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)

:)     I tried to go back to the discssion before, to clarify what Sharon had meant re roles, but that moment had moved on. Eden may have given me a gentle pointer a few lines down. Meanwhile, she rezzes a wonderful sounding rainstick ...

Eliza Madrigal: one thing I was thinking too Eden, that maybe it can also be like 'interrupting' flow
Eliza Madrigal: it seems that is much of what Pema is pointing to Riddle?
    Riddle Sideways: yep
Eliza Madrigal: there is a natural set of roles and orders of things... is that what you meant Sharon?
Riddle Sideways: the flow might (just might) be a duality also
Eliza Madrigal: Lovely sound Eden :))
Eliza Madrigal: erase 'natural' from my above sentence
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Eden Haiku: "interrupting flow" in order to go back to your aim you mean?
Eliza Madrigal: yes noticing when we're in a sort of heedless flow
    Eliza Madrigal: or pre-script
Eden Haiku: There might be a distinction to make
    Eliza Madrigal: with someone else
    Eliza Madrigal listens
Eden Haiku: Between going through the motions

Riddle Sideways: not to go to some aim. just to note that flow is another dualism
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmm
Eden Haiku: and going with the flow
Eliza Madrigal: interesting, like tapping into 'in between' flows
Eliza Madrigal: which can come from interruptions
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    Eden Haiku: middle way ;-)

Riddle Sideways: like noting that there are more then just down stream and up stream

Eliza Madrigal thinks of juiciness for some reason
Riddle Sideways: you/we are in many flows
    Eliza Madrigal: ah, yes...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    --BELL--

Bleu Oleander: juicy flows ... hmmm
Zen Arado: (feel uncomfortable with shoes)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Bleu Oleander: haha
Eliza Madrigal: especially for squishing grapes
Sunshine Vayandar: welcome the bee ;))
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Sunshine Vayandar: hmm so nice to hear the harp again
    Riddle Sideways: nice harp
Eden Haiku: Eliza, you sound just like an angel on a cloud ;-)
    Wilfrid Resident: She does!
Eliza Madrigal: I still remember the first time I saw a harp played, at a church on a corner with huge doors
    Zen Arado: Eliza Harpo :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Sunshine Vayandar: ;)) she is one
Eliza Madrigal: that's funny Zen.... my first internet hosting job was in an AOL forum called Parent Soup
    Eden Haiku: isn't she?
Eliza Madrigal: and I used the name PS Harpo and hosted a book club....
Riddle Sideways: Wilfrid, you seem to agree with everything Eden says
Eliza Madrigal: but people always thought I worked for Oprah =/
Sunshine Vayandar: she is hmm yes definitely she is ;))
    Eden Haiku: Parent Soup hehe
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye everyone, have a great day :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye for now
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Sharon :)
    Eden Haiku: ah... Harpo...
    Bleu Oleander: bye Sharon
Eden Haiku: Bye Sharon, you too!
    Zen Arado: bye Sharon
    Sunshine Vayandar: byebyeee Sharon ;)
    Wilfrid Resident: Bye Sharon!
Eliza Madrigal: haven't thought of that memory in a while

Eliza Madrigal: where do things 'go'?
Eden Haiku: ah, yes... where do they go?
Riddle Sideways: they go... but temporarily
    Zen Arado: be glad
Eliza Madrigal: :) yes what a relief, where would we put it all if it didn't?
Zen Arado: gone forever..never same river twice
Zen Arado: why don't we like that?
    Bleu Oleander: I like that
Eden Haiku: I like when memories pop in suddenly too;-)
Zen Arado: should be glad when we're dead?
Eliza Madrigal: me too :) I take issue occasionally, with the 'access' system though
    Bleu Oleander: didn't mean that
Eliza Madrigal: I'd like to access some things when I'd like to, rather than when they feel like, hahah
    Zen Arado: release from samsara
Zen Arado: but maybe we should
Bleu Oleander: I don't really know what that means

I had begun to play harp (follow the bee), then Zen followed on a guitar...

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, this harp gives the names too, like Blue's guitar!
Eden Haiku: My printer has memory problems too. Says it has no more ink whatsoever either black or color and it prints perfectly well 18 pages !
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Sunshine Vayandar: brb little busy in RL
    Bleu Oleander ⊱ smiles ⊰
Eliza Madrigal: hheh Zen the zeppelin
Sunshine Vayandar: Live on stage : ZEN
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;)) brb
    Eliza Madrigal: K, sunshine
Riddle Sideways: should we scream the lyrics now?
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
Eliza Madrigal: yes, Riddle, turn on your mic!
Eliza Madrigal: eek, trying to turn off harp
    Eliza Madrigal: that's great Zen
    Riddle Sideways: ty zen
Zen Arado: hmmm can't turn riffs off
    Zen Arado: hoped I could

9 out of 9 times when I declare something in the following way it ends up not being the case somehow...

Eliza Madrigal: Today I'm not going to record the whole music session because I need to post the session early, am catching up with some things presently
Eliza Madrigal: so I'll sign off in a little while but if you guys take pics, I can post them in as usual :)
    Riddle Sideways: ok
Eden Haiku: Catching up the auto-pilot Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: ah, what shall you play now Zen?
Eliza Madrigal: yes Eden!! :))) feeding the auto-pilot
    Eden Haiku: smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Wilfrid Resident: Nice music Zen :_)
    Eliza Madrigal: nice, yes
Zen Arado: I have a classical guitar loks just like this
Eden Haiku: I understand how the word "auto-pilot' doesn't quite cover what you mean by it Eliza... A more precise word will come to you inspired by what we call now the 'auto-pilot"!

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: I guess there are terms for what I mean in energy/chakra work circles Eden... wonder if there is a way to articulate that has none of the kind of 'specialty' connotations....hmmmm
    Eliza Madrigal: ?
Eden Haiku: Yes, to find a contemporary word for a new reality,
Eliza Madrigal: because surely artists and writers and basketball players understand....
    Eliza Madrigal: etc
Eden Haiku: Maybe your college daughter could help you finding that?
Eliza Madrigal: not sure she'd understand yet :)
Bleu Oleander: artists have something in common with basketball players? hehe
Eden Haiku: People under 21 are always the best with moving languages, stretching capacities...
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
    Eliza Madrigal: basketball art

Zen Arado: aren't we all artists?

Eliza Madrigal: art of practice :)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Eden Haiku: maybe not in her experinece but if you try to explain to her yours, she might be able to translate.
Eliza Madrigal: watched a HEAT game last night ... these players move in different times
Eden Haiku: I used to teach communication to people under 21 and they were amazing atn that
Eliza Madrigal: yes perhaps it might be interesting to ask her Eden, thanks for that idea :)
Eliza Madrigal wonders what Zen is preparing to play
Bleu Oleander: bye all take care :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Bleu :)
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you
    Zen Arado: bye bleu
    Zen Arado: haven't been practicing
Zen Arado: no time for anything these days
    Eden Haiku: Bye Bleu ;-)

Eliza Madrigal: :) it seems a strange time of times
    Eliza Madrigal: shiftings
    Eden Haiku: Shiftings yes...
    Eden Haiku: Time flows faster...
    Eliza Madrigal: hmmm
Eliza Madrigal sways and bounces in her seat
Eliza Madrigal: ah... you know, the idea of different flows going and interruptions, makes me think of mosaics... like our sessions here many times :))
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi oO0Oo!
    oO0Oo Resident: :))
    Eden Haiku: Mosaics yes ;-)
    oO0Oo Resident: hiya everyone
    Eden Haiku: hello oOOOo!!!
Eliza Madrigal: we're having a subdued sort of music session so far... but have been talking about different flows... and well, many things
Sunshine Vayandar: hi again - little crazy here - but seems calmer now
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Sunshine Vayandar: hi Sam ;)
Sunshine Vayandar listens to Zen's music
    Eliza Madrigal: fast fingers Zen
    Sunshine Vayandar: he is gooooood
oO0Oo Resident: is that Zen playing? 00!
Zen Arado: Paco Pena taught me :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    Zen Arado: no it isn't!!!
    Zen Arado: I wish
Eliza Madrigal: Lovely dress Sunshine... very suiting
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
oO0Oo Resident: beautiful...AND you can type and play
    Eliza Madrigal: amazing
Sunshine Vayandar: ;) yes Zen is a prooo

    Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
    Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
Zen Arado: not sure what it is though
    Eliza Madrigal: yay :D
Zen Arado: have we got it?
Sunshine Vayandar: what are you asking Zenji?
Eden Haiku: yes what are you asking Zen?
    Zen Arado: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duende_%28art%29
    Sunshine Vayandar: thanks looking
Zen Arado: you haven't heard of that?
oO0Oo Resident: isn't duende... another way of saying 'play as being'
    oO0Oo Resident: ?
Eliza Madrigal: it was with us all the time
    Zen Arado: duende as being
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe...
    Eliza Madrigal: Love that :)))

Sunshine Vayandar: Duende is a difficult-to-define word used in the Spanish arts, including performing arts. From the original meaning (a fairy- or goblin-like creature in Spanish and Latin American mythology), the artistic and especially musical term was derived. "Tener duende" ("having duende") can be loosely translated as having soul, a heightened state of emotion, expression and authenticity, often connected with flamenco. [1]

    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Eliza Madrigal: ooooo

Zen Arado: El duende is the spirit of evocation. It comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to music. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive

    Eliza Madrigal: Authentic Play
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
    Sunshine Vayandar: *:• •:*.-:¦:- -:¦:-.•:*¨¨*:• YAYYY *:• •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- -:¦:-.¨¨*:•
    Eliza Madrigal: **********Applause!!**********
    Eliza Madrigal: ahhh... natural response
    Eliza Madrigal: inner leaping
    Eliza Madrigal: **********Applause!!**********
Eden Haiku: Oh how nice Zen "el duende"
    Zen Arado: Solea de Cordoba
    Sunshine Vayandar: love it
Eden Haiku: Estas de Cordoba hehe?
    Zen Arado: donde esta Cordoba?
Eliza Madrigal: just noticed Sun has castanets
    Zen Arado: she would
    Zen Arado: show off :)
Eliza Madrigal: I used to call them 'clackers' when I was litle
    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
Eden Haiku: I want some, I want some!!!
    Sunshine Vayandar: ;))
Eden Haiku: Flamenco is very show off!!!
    Eliza Madrigal: yes very bold
    Zen Arado: yes
Eden Haiku: It's a dance through which one fills ups her whole bubble!
    Zen Arado: flamboyant flamenco
Eden Haiku: Saw an amazing blonde flamenco dancer in Montreal once.
Eden Haiku: So much stomping, such a clear stance of assertiveness!
Eliza Madrigal grins at image of bubble filling... like a juicy blueberry
Eden Haiku: It was in a small Spanish joint.
Eliza Madrigal: yes! its the stomping!
Zen Arado: yes assertive women too

oO0Oo Resident: agua! agua! Zen/Paco! ::stomps feet just so:: ;)

    Zen Arado: hmmm
Eden Haiku: Went to congratulate her at the end.
Sunshine Vayandar: Eden - castanettes on their way to you ;)
Eden Haiku: Thought she was from North of Spain or such...
    oO0Oo Resident: duende!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles @ 0
Eden Haiku: Tks Sun ;_))) You are so very generous!
    Zen Arado: mucho duende

Soleá consists of twelve beats with accents on the third, sixth, eighth, tenth and twelfth.
