Hokon Cazalet: ive often thought that lack of distinction might be how our sense of identity gets molded by the enviroment, who we are is the enviroment for a while (and perhaps fissioning the world into dualisms of self/other, helps to isolate the constructed self from being tampered with further? - all speculation on my part, but i find it interesting how it might work) =)

Hokon Cazalet: i think so too, but if its true it would explain a lot of our behavoirs and thoughts
Hokon Cazalet: and why fear oddly shows up in spiritual stuff (experience of the sublime) or any mystical experience

Hokon Cazalet: hehe its funny, we still define ourselves by the enviroment even in our "normal" state, just its particular objects or titles
