    Eos Amaterasu: Claim

    --BELL--

Eos Amaterasu: May all beings in Sandy's sphere be safe and alert and warm
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Ewan, San
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Eos..
Eos Amaterasu: We may not get much East Coast participation tonight
    Santoshima Resident: understandable
    Santoshima Resident: how are you?
Santoshima Resident: and hello to you adn Ewen
    Santoshima Resident: Ewan
    Ewan Bonham: Hello San..
Eos Amaterasu: I'm fine - my neck of the woods is getting soggy and windy, and the storm may arc around and hit us yet :-)
Ewan Bonham: Where are you Eos?
    Eos Amaterasu: Nova Scotia
Ewan Bonham: It is quite large ..over 800 miles
Eos Amaterasu: yeah, there were some indications that hurricanes would become less frequent, but be larger and stronger, as things warm up
Eos Amaterasu: Is there a theme for this week, btw? (sorry, I'm behind on info....)
Santoshima Resident: the theme can be wind, or it can be as prescribed ... "desire"
    Santoshima Resident: or anything else
Eos Amaterasu: YOu can get a prescription for it?
Ewan Bonham: Speaking of wind....the hurricane..
Eos Amaterasu: Out of much heat, comes stirring, swirling, wind....

    --BELL--

Eos Amaterasu: musing on "wind" as "life force", like the way a horse when it gets its wind is full of life in both its energy and its let go
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Luci
    Santoshima Resident: hallo luci
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Luci.
Santoshima Resident: you have gone back to pajamas after going back to gowns?
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi to all
Lucinda Lavender: yes... need something centering
    Santoshima Resident: :)
Lucinda Lavender: brb...must go look at the moon...
    Santoshima Resident: full?
    Eos Amaterasu: !
    Santoshima Resident: bright
Eos Amaterasu: You are not on the east coast!
    Santoshima Resident: true
Lucinda Lavender: yes full and behind a few clouds
Santoshima Resident: seen earlier, very bright with halo
Lucinda Lavender: my thoughts are with those in the east
    Santoshima Resident: yes
Eos Amaterasu: for all humankind's history, that one moon....
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Eos Amaterasu: the moon is now part of this assembly here
Eos Amaterasu: I saw it a couple of nights ago, so very bright
Lucinda Lavender: the reminder of change...as it does quite abit of changing it's appearance
Santoshima Resident: fall month is huge on the horizon line
Eos Amaterasu: it's helping Sandy turn the northeast sodden
Lucinda Lavender: how do you mean?
    Santoshima Resident: which?
    Lucinda Lavender: hugeness?
Santoshima Resident: i have seen, harvest moons when low in the sky appear to be extra huge
Santoshima Resident: an optical effect that I don't understand
Santoshima Resident: but it has a name
Lucinda Lavender: right...I have heard of it
Lucinda Lavender: maybe someone will know...why the harvest moons seem bigger
Santoshima Resident: hang on ... google will know
    Santoshima Resident: brb
Eos Amaterasu: the better to glare at you with :-)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I will come back to check...on the why.
Lucinda Lavender: need to attend to RL for 10 minutes or so
Santoshima Resident: wikipedia: It appears larger in size because the brain perceives a low-hanging moon to be larger than one that's high in the sky. This is known as a Moon illusion, and it can be seen with any full Moon. [ end quote]
