The Guardian for this meeting was Calvino Rabeni. The lack of comments is by Calvino Rabeni.

    Calvino Rabeni: Hiya Arch :)
    Archmage Atlantis: Cal, hello
Archmage Atlantis: I sit to the outside of the circle
Archmage Atlantis: I do not feel it is true
    Calvino Rabeni: True?
Calvino Rabeni: Good evening SSL :)
Archmage Atlantis: I cannot explain....but here are the words I wrote before coming h ere
    Calvino Rabeni listens
Archmage Atlantis: Oh, hello... the geeko hier......Girls and Boys, Ingrid Michaelson.....just dropping in, I suppose.....hey music, dig it *shy smile*......or if not shy, maybe just maniputaltive....A=B. B=C. C A.......hard to undresstand....???
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Calvino and Arch :)
Calvino Rabeni: The meadow grass gives a spacious feeling, one reason I liked to spread out to the wider circle, to feel the openness
    Archmage Atlantis: Good thought, Cal
Calvino Rabeni: How are things with you, SSL?
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, I woke up frm a nap about 30 min ago, so very relieved that I didn't oversleep and miss being the goc for my session tonight (thought it was Monday)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lol
Archmage Atlantis: works for me Sophia
SophiaSharon Larnia: other than that great! :)
    Calvino Rabeni smiles ... yes
Calvino Rabeni: sounds like a jazz song ... thought it was Monday but I'm in a Sunday kind of mood
Archmage Atlantis: I guess I feel a great movement in the shifting of the existence of being......duh
SophiaSharon Larnia: i know very well today is Sunday and mothers day in the states, i dont know why i thought it was tomorrow
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lol Cal
Archmage Atlantis: It is Sunday here
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Archmage Atlantis: 2 more hours
Archmage Atlantis: I am remembering my mother and my father
Archmage Atlantis: perhaps that is it
Archmage Atlantis: Both dead over 15 years
    SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry Arch
Archmage Atlantis: Ty, Sophie, but death comes to us all
SophiaSharon Larnia: read Pema latest addition to his book and have been thinking of stillness since this morning :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, it does, or so Ive heard
Calvino Rabeni: I got a rare email from him today ... sort of thinking of it coming from this side of the grave, whatever that means
    SophiaSharon Larnia: a different life?
    Archmage Atlantis: And? Mr. Cal?
Calvino Rabeni: It's a little strange, he's disabled, so now appears in electronic media than in RL
Archmage Atlantis: Here comes the sun, and it's alright
    --BELL--

Archmage Atlantis: I have to admit, I know I will die in this life........I know that there may not be another life after.......but I also feel I endure in the greatness of all being.....sorta odd thing to feel, think, and say......
SophiaSharon Larnia: Cal, I expect many disabled do that
Calvino Rabeni nods I relate to that perspective
Calvino Rabeni: Yes true SSL, it
SophiaSharon Larnia: not so odd Arch :D
Calvino Rabeni: is good to see a bit of emergence happening
SophiaSharon Larnia: thank you for being able to say it :)
Calvino Rabeni: In fact I was sitting here wondering more or less on that same theme
Archmage Atlantis: disabled is a definition against an existing perception of reality
Calvino Rabeni: so yes thanks Arch for pointing it out
Calvino Rabeni: I was pondering whether it was age, or media effects, or seeing the experiences of others, some other influences
SophiaSharon Larnia: spent part of the day feeling the different of silence, the loud sound of silence rushing in your ears when it's quiet, and the sound of something else, like a pregnant pause
    Archmage Atlantis: nod
SophiaSharon Larnia: if it has a sound
SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Para dise :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: could be all of those Cal
Calvino Rabeni: I find that intriguing SSL, the pregnant pause sound .. don't know if I've experienced that or not
Paradise Tennant: hiya sophia arch cal :))
    Calvino Rabeni: Hi, Paradise :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh pretty dress Paradise :)
Paradise Tennant: smiles and listens :)
Archmage Atlantis: deep bow to paradise and to susan
Calvino Rabeni: we're doing double-topics (at least; and as often happens)
SophiaSharon Larnia: its not a sound, i feel it morelike the second before you jump, when your muscles are ready to spring
Calvino Rabeni: Susan... good evening !
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Susan
    iwandertoo Resident: :) waves
Paradise Tennant: smiles hiya susan ;))
Calvino Rabeni: ah .. thanks for adding that, Sharon
Calvino Rabeni: I like those mixed sense experiences when I have them
Calvino Rabeni: Sometimes even seek them
SophiaSharon Larnia: i don't know how to sense it in any other way than physical
Archmage Atlantis: I like that you describe what I feel here and in rl, the moment before I spring
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Bleu
    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
Paradise Tennant: smiles hiya bleu :)) looking lovely and blue :)
    iwandertoo Resident: waves :)
Calvino Rabeni: Wearing a Tiger on the shoulder might entice that, Arch
Archmage Atlantis: One looks off the end of the board, the cliff, the social pause.....then one leaps, regardless of the consequence
    Calvino Rabeni smiles
Archmage Atlantis: I did not chose her, Cal, she chose me
Calvino Rabeni: hmm, some leaps are harder than others
Calvino Rabeni: I suppose that's a good story?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: many stories :)
    --BELL--

Archmage Atlantis: I saw Daddy kissing Santa Claus
Paradise Tennant: what fills up the pause for you Sharon ? is it a heightened sense of awareness :))
SophiaSharon Larnia: truthfully, the pregnant pause i was talking about earlier? Muscles readied to spring feels to me like an expectation, which was what I was trying to relax and see around
    Paradise Tennant: nods
Paradise Tennant: interesting phrase ... see around ...
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, glorious multiple potentialities in a moment of rest for just that moment (and string of moments)
SophiaSharon Larnia: but expectation there for me nonethe less
Archmage Atlantis: K, now back to reality.....Pema speaking from beyond the grave
Calvino Rabeni: I like that phrase "glorious multiple potentialities"
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Stevenaia
Paradise Tennant: yes captures the immensity of the moment :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: waves
    Bleu Oleander: hey steve
Paradise Tennant: hiya stev gtsy :)
Calvino Rabeni: it describes something of awareness ... how they register in different ways at once in the body and mind, but awareness if possible enlarges to hold them and maybe, integrate them or present them as more choiceful
    Calvino Rabeni: Hi Stevenaia :)
    Archmage Atlantis: Good catch
SophiaSharon Larnia: to not expect something to me fels to not pause but stop
SophiaSharon Larnia: and who knows, maybe then the world would stop
    Archmage Atlantis: Hello, siste Rhi
Calvino Rabeni: Good evening Rhia, LTNSee
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Rhiannon
    stevenaia Michinaga: waves at Rhi
Rhiannon Dragoone: Good evening, Cal; hi Sophia.
    Bleu Oleander: hi Rhiannon
    Archmage Atlantis: good landing sis
    Rhiannon Dragoone waves at steve
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Hi Bleu
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Thanks, bro
Calvino Rabeni: I went to a group discussion a little while back, based on the public TV documentary series "This Emotional Life"
Calvino Rabeni: It touched a lot of topics lightly .. like the increased brain activity of experienced meditators, and the enduring idea of happiness
SophiaSharon Larnia: is that something that can be found online?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: the documentary
Calvino Rabeni: Hmm ... (goes to Google) :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: ha dont go too long :)
Archmage Atlantis: I was happy these last two days.......I had an ex come to stay......we went to plant nurseries that I like, he bought bargain shirts he liked
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
    Calvino Rabeni: http://video.pbs.org/program/1142148877/
    SophiaSharon Larnia: sounds perfect :)
Rhiannon Dragoone: Well, as long as you don't plant the shirts or wear the plants, that sounds cool, Arch
Paradise Tennant: looks up and waves at rhi :)
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Hi Paradise
    SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks Cal!
    --BELL--

Rhiannon Dragoone: You can say hi to me too, Susan. It's allowed.
Paradise Tennant: interesting ..... was part of university research study that was tracking experienced meditators to see if daily meditation improved recall had to go for these memory tests
Archmage Atlantis: The nursery had a Jacaranda tree, my ex ex is actually the visitor, but my ex lives next door.....He dreamed of a tree covered in blue flowers as a child, the jacaranda we found today is covered in blue flowers once a year
Rhiannon Dragoone: And did it, Pardise? I think any trance work helps the mind
Calvino Rabeni: "Connecting with others is the single most important thing we can do for our happiness" according to this program http://www.pbs.org/thisemotionallife/topic/connecting
    SophiaSharon Larnia: wow Paradise
Paradise Tennant: jarcanda tree :) sounds lovely Arch :)
Paradise Tennant: yes seemed to improve memory rhi
Archmage Atlantis: It is Ms. Paradise
Rhiannon Dragoone: I love the way jacarandas smell and look, but I'm totally like allergic to them. Sorry
Calvino Rabeni: That must be a subtropical species .. ?
Paradise Tennant: nice that you can spend time together with an ex Arch and have it be full of warmth like that :) a gift :)
    Calvino Rabeni: Yes
Archmage Atlantis: Understand.....I am allergic to Northern hardwoods
Rhiannon Dragoone: I'm not surprised, Paradise--stress reduces consciousness all around, and meditation reduces stress
Rhiannon Dragoone: i'm also allergic to ex's, but in a different way
    SophiaSharon Larnia: stress reduces consciousness?
    Rhiannon Dragoone: lol
Rhiannon Dragoone: Sophia, yes, too much of it
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh yes, multitasking here
Rhiannon Dragoone: Awareness of your surroundings, and your internal states
iwandertoo Resident: stress reduces one's ability to focus
Paradise Tennant: yes I think because stress restricts our thoughts in an unnatural way kind of like getting a brain kink you tend to do circular thinking must wear out the gears
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ha
Rhiannon Dragoone: oh, circular thinking--Agatha Christie had a nice metaphor for that--the rat in a cage on it's little wheel, going 'round and 'round...
Calvino Rabeni: I think I have healthy antibodies to exes
Archmage Atlantis: Well, I suppose if I used normal counting, I would have difficulty with ex's (not in Texas)....but these 2 were 19 and 12 year relationships......there were many one night or one month or less thay 1 year ones
Calvino Rabeni: stress leads to a narrowing... in many ways ..
Paradise Tennant: munching a really lovely apple sharp old cheddar with a nice glass of white wine .. amazing how tasts can make you feel expansive rather than narrow
Rhiannon Dragoone: arch, it's hard to throw that away; and I'm glad that you have such good relationships with them
Archmage Atlantis: Would go be with Paradise for sharp old cheddar and a nice glass of wine
Archmage Atlantis: I'm cheap and easy
Rhiannon Dragoone: huh; you say you'd go with me for nothing. I'm not sure how to take that. lol
Paradise Tennant: lol the dog would not let you have any of the cheese :) but wouldn't it be lovely if we could tp in rl
Calvino Rabeni: I think that narrowing seen in stress is also a power of focus, or uses focus abilities too
Archmage Atlantis: Take it all as love
    Calvino Rabeni: hmm Arch ..mm
Archmage Atlantis: We've been told that many times
Archmage Atlantis: Believe it...it have to go
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye arch
Rhiannon Dragoone: Cal, and meditation is a way to defocus
    Rhiannon Dragoone: tc, Arch
    Calvino Rabeni: Adios amigo
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Arch, take care
    Paradise Tennant: nite nite arch
Calvino Rabeni: I was thinking of meditation as an integrative field awareness
Paradise Tennant: always think of it as an emptying
Rhiannon Dragoone: right, a lot like Hak-u-lau
Calvino Rabeni: perhaps like the soft focus used in martial arts
    Paradise Tennant: creating internal spaciousness
    Calvino Rabeni: yes
Rhiannon Dragoone: Cal, yes, Hak-u-lau is used in martial arts; not so much 'soft' focus, but defocus with intent
Calvino Rabeni: yeah, it was called soft-eyes in one dojo I went to
SophiaSharon Larnia: soft eyes means something else to me, although ive heard of that :)
Calvino Rabeni: defocus with intent yes
    Calvino Rabeni: :)
    --BELL--

    iwandertoo Resident: waves...best to everyone
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Susan
    SophiaSharon Larnia: take care
Calvino Rabeni: Take care, Susan Bye
    Bleu Oleander: bye Susan
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Bye Susan
Paradise Tennant: take care susan :)
Calvino Rabeni: How's this for a description of hakalau ? http://www.ancienthuna.com/hakalau.htm
Calvino Rabeni: This reminds me of .. hm, maybe night trail running
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Luci :)
Calvino Rabeni: good to see you Cinda
Paradise Tennant: smiles hiya luci :))
Rhiannon Dragoone: Cal, yeah, if that is run by the Huna Federation, then it's pretty good.
    Bleu Oleander: hi Luci :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: wow, the peripheral vision focus seems to be something i do at times as it is, I thought i was doing something wrong lol
    Lucinda Lavender: HI Everyone...
Rhiannon Dragoone: It can slow down time, give you extended awareness, help eliminate anxiety, and speed up your reflexes; not to mention get you in touch with your subconscious and from there to highter intelligence
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Hi Lucinda
Calvino Rabeni: It's a cultural area I don't know much about, so it should be interesting to see a new perspective on some basic human capacities
Calvino Rabeni: peripheral vision consciousness can do all that
SophiaSharon Larnia: have to go, have a good night everyone :))
    stevenaia Michinaga: night SSL
Calvino Rabeni: Good night, sleep well
    Lucinda Lavender: bye SSL:)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Bleu Oleander: me too .... nite all ... take care
Paradise Tennant: good nite sophia sweet dreams

    Rhiannon Dragoone kisses bleu
    Rhiannon Dragoone: oh, well

    stevenaia Michinaga: night Paradise
Calvino Rabeni: say hi to the little furry one
Paradise Tennant: will do :)) hope your chicken is feeling better luci :)
Lucinda Lavender: seems fine for now...no eggs we can find tho
Lucinda Lavender: thanks for all you do Paradise:)
Calvino Rabeni: The other day Lucinda and I had a short discussion of just how much we *don't* know about what goes on inside a chicken :)
Lucinda Lavender: with all my many dying friends:)
Paradise Tennant: smiles lol ok well wish your chicken a good nite for me :)
Paradise Tennant: sigh so hard the other ..losing them :)
Lucinda Lavender: Cal I want to bring a book for you to look at next time...
    Lucinda Lavender: true ...
Calvino Rabeni: OK, I didn't realize it earlier, but I am curious about how those egg things are produced
Calvino Rabeni: they are so handy as food
Paradise Tennant: will enjoy reading the log :) tip toes out :) namaste my friends :)
    Calvino Rabeni: _/!\_
    Lucinda Lavender: bye Paradise:)
    Lucinda Lavender: hmmm
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Bye Paradise!
Lucinda Lavender: well I don't have the book in front of me.. but maybe I can do some looking in the book I do have...
Rhiannon Dragoone: Cal, I think eggs are produced by chickens
Rhiannon Dragoone: But don't quote me on that
stevenaia Michinaga: I should go too, long week ahead
stevenaia Michinaga: night Rhi, Cal, Luci
Calvino Rabeni: Bye Steve, have a good week!
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...bye steve
Calvino Rabeni: There's so much more to know about it I'm sure
Lucinda Lavender: had a later yoga class today so the evening has started later too
Calvino Rabeni: do the shells grow along with the insides? or are they added later? Or maybe just become harder in the final stage of production.. are there more than one produced in a pipeline? etc.
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: just googled chicken reproduction images
Calvino Rabeni: How's that yoga class .. I think it might be good to do, to keep rigor mortis from setting in :)
    Calvino Rabeni: prematurely that is
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: it is a bit harder than my previous gentle one by the physical therapist
Lucinda Lavender: but this class has a nice meditation as part of it
Lucinda Lavender: chickens have an infandibulum!
Calvino Rabeni: sounds cool ... what is it?
Rhiannon Dragoone: Lucinda, please, some of us are ladies. lol
Lucinda Lavender: a place for the egg to get fertilized if that is possible
Calvino Rabeni: infundibulum n. , pl. , -la . Any of various funnel-shaped bodily passages, openings, structures, or parts
Lucinda Lavender: doesn't it sound magical tho...?
    Calvino Rabeni: yes it does
    Calvino Rabeni: positively incantational
    Calvino Rabeni: and abracadabric
    Lucinda Lavender: :)))
Lucinda Lavender: uterus is the shell gland...
Lucinda Lavender: travels doen the vagina to exist at the cloaca
    Lucinda Lavender: down
    Lucinda Lavender: to exit
Calvino Rabeni: They are stronger than they seem, at least resistant to slow pressure
Lucinda Lavender: I try to put the link in and it does not work
Lucinda Lavender: someday I need to get that issue worked out so I can share the links
Calvino Rabeni: copy and paste might do the trick
Lucinda Lavender: trying but that does not work between safaryi and Phoenix
    Lucinda Lavender: http://ag.ansc.purdue.edu/nielsen/www245/lecnotes/avianrepro.html
    Lucinda Lavender: hee hee
    Calvino Rabeni: that worked
    Lucinda Lavender: I did it!
Lucinda Lavender: tried one more thing
Lucinda Lavender: that always does it
Calvino Rabeni: Have you tried any new brewing experiments, or cheese making?
Lucinda Lavender: no chees but...dandilion and elderflower wines:)
Lucinda Lavender: picked the dandies on a day prescribed for it
    Lucinda Lavender: synchronistacally actually
Lucinda Lavender: there is a whole myth about the elder flwer
    Lucinda Lavender: gypsy stuff
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: Dandilions were on ST Davids day...April 23
Calvino Rabeni: you discard the sepals and keep the yellow part only?
Lucinda Lavender: just the yellow parts of the flower:)
    Lucinda Lavender: several cups worth
Lucinda Lavender: poured hot liquid/h2O over it
Rhiannon Dragoone: Well, I need to be off
    Calvino Rabeni: Be well, Rhia
    Rhiannon Dragoone: you 2, Cal
    Lucinda Lavender: sweet dreams rhia:)
Rhiannon Dragoone: oh, you too, Luce
    Lucinda Lavender: hmmm
    Lucinda Lavender: story...
Lucinda Lavender: thninking about recent dreams...
    Lucinda Lavender: had any?
Calvino Rabeni: Coffee blocks my recall ... so not much for this last week
    Lucinda Lavender: had one yesterday
    Lucinda Lavender: I think...hold on
Lucinda Lavender: had the opportunity to try on dress up skirts that were made for children in neon colors...found one that fit
Lucinda Lavender: the statement came out...I may be an adult but it is a perfect fit
    Calvino Rabeni: seems reintegrative
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Lucinda Lavender: and wanted to tell Paradise since she had been having the neon creatures in her dreams
Lucinda Lavender: wanted to tell Paradise since she had had some neon creatures in her dreams...
Calvino Rabeni: Do you notice mini-dreams during meditations or relaxed states, that are different in character than night dreams
    Lucinda Lavender: wierd...
    Calvino Rabeni: ?
Calvino Rabeni: Famous last words ... Bye then :)
