Yes, Mastodon looks interesting Storm. Flicking through the entries, first thing I notice is the range of languages. I see French, Spanish on Facebook but have never seen Japanese. I will keep checking it out and if I see an interesting group I will join.

Tart talks about advantages of having a teacher again:
‘I can theoretically imagine an individual who is alert and observant enough to go a very long way with these ideas on his own…
In practice, though, we are so strongly affected by our interactions with others that we need the support, stimulation, frustration, and challenge of working with a group and a teacher. We gain great power and advantages from that.’

Tart, Charles T.. Waking Up: Overcoming the Obstacles to Human Potential (Kindle Locations 5555-5557). Fearless Books. Kindle Edition.

Maybe interacting in groups in SL helps but it is hard to find good teachers who come into SL. At least I had a RL Zen teacher for a few years.

I'm going to have to start working out. Or something that will enable me just to lift the Creative Writing book that arrived yesterday. Its 664 pages weigh three and a half pounds, but if that's the most daunting thing about it, I'll be fine. If we were rebooting the 99 day project, this would be my focus. And if we start another in the next year (/me hopes), it will doubtless still be my focus. More later.

Perhaps we can continue 99 days to 199? I just ordered 4 more sketch books refills :)

Yay, Stevie! Really enjoying your sketches.

199 is a lot! I could go to 119, maybe halting daily emails, but making pages. Or, someone new might like to pick it up? :)

Actually I'm --->this close<--- to pulling the lever on the course beginning in July, and once I do so, that becomes my big priority for at least 5 months.

I'd love to find some way to stay in touch as creativity continues. Might there be a talented scriptwriter who could make automatically posting pages? It could be a new thing, similar to 99 days, if so.

Guess I know what book I'm not putting on my list. At least not yet. :D

Morning practice still illudes me, but Blooming practice continues - a gentle visualization (often unintended) filling my mind, without taking away attention from anything else. Now that I pause to focus on it a moment, there comes a glimpse of what Santideva may have meant by "perfume my own mind." edited 00:44, 15 Jun 2018

Eliza, I suspect that those people who are coming are already here! In other words, perhaps we no longer need the daily emails. I have no clue how to script this beast and wouldn't necessarily trust myself anymore!

I was going to add more about Mastodon, specifically the several ways of how to find the right instance to be your 'home' (though you can have more than one, and you don't have to get it right first time).

But again I'm exhausted, so I'll finish tonight with this short introductory video.

I think I'll extend the invitation to others as we close 99 Days officially, making a buffer zone for those of us who want to check in a little while longer in an open way, similar to Dream Session where we officially stop on the hour, but sometimes just sit together a little longer. :)
