Tart talks about advantages of having a teacher again:
‘I can theoretically imagine an individual who is alert and observant enough to go a very long way with these ideas on his own…
In practice, though, we are so strongly affected by our interactions with others that we need the support, stimulation, frustration, and challenge of working with a group and a teacher. We gain great power and advantages from that.’

Maybe interacting in groups in SL helps but it is hard to find good teachers who come into SL. At least I had a RL Zen teacher for a few years.
199 is a lot! I could go to 119, maybe halting daily emails, but making pages. Or, someone new might like to pick it up? :)
Actually I'm --->this close<--- to pulling the lever on the course beginning in July, and once I do so, that becomes my big priority for at least 5 months.
I'd love to find some way to stay in touch as creativity continues. Might there be a talented scriptwriter who could make automatically posting pages? It could be a new thing, similar to 99 days, if so.
Guess I know what book I'm not putting on my list. At least not yet. :D
Morning practice still illudes me, but Blooming practice continues - a gentle visualization (often unintended) filling my mind, without taking away attention from anything else. Now that I pause to focus on it a moment, there comes a glimpse of what Santideva may have meant by "perfume my own mind." edited 00:44, 15 Jun 2018
I was going to add more about Mastodon, specifically the several ways of how to find the right instance to be your 'home' (though you can have more than one, and you don't have to get it right first time).
But again I'm exhausted, so I'll finish tonight with this short introductory video.
