Welcome to Play as Being.

Just for today, I encourage you to be here in a slightly different way than usual, that is, sitting in silence (no chat).

On this United Nations designated International Day of Peace (September 21), some of us have decided to explore a sort of personal, and collective "truce" during the regularly scheduled Play as Being session times, by simply sitting, and being present together.

Storm Nordwind: So offerings for the new Art as Being exhibition are being accepted
Storm Nordwind: Only two installed so far (as of yesterday)
Storm Nordwind: There are two weeks left to put in your entry!
Storm Nordwind: We've had fabulous contributions in the past
Storm Nordwind: Though I have to say, most appeared in the day before the deadline! :)

Storm Nordwind: And Bleu suggested you have a costume specially for the reading. Well I'm lousy at costume design and I have no dress sense, so i used an old costume you'll have seen before!

Storm Nordwind: How do people put themselves forward for the WG Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: They should email or IM either Bruce, Stevie, Mila or Aphrodite...
Eliza Madrigal: though if they would like to respond in the main email group that would be fine and noticed also

Eliza Madrigal: it would be *wonderful* for every guardian to volunteer at least once
Eliza Madrigal: a stint in the WG is 6 months, though some choose to stay on for a while longer which is great for continuity
Eliza Madrigal: The WG deals with guardian nominations, any issues that arise, and creatively brainstorms about community matters
Eliza Madrigal: and tries to attend these meetings so that everyone is in the loop :)

Bruce (bruce.mowbray): The WG finds wrinkles and tries to iron them out in a concerted way ;-)
