    Hi
I'm not sure how I add by 2cents worth here edited 15:32, 26 Aug 2011

If this is the right place; I will try and draw or paint something every day. My intention is to stay focussed on the present moment and fully appreciate what I see.

Wol, please let me know if I'm doing this right! Aph

Hello Aph, you're nearly right. There will be a page per day (today is day -6), put your comments on the page for "today", whatever that is. So your comment for what you do on August 26th will go on the page "-6 _ 2011.08.26" edited 18:36, 26 Aug 2011

Actually perhaps it is a good idea to comment *this* page, the collector page for this run of 99 days, with what you will be working on (wish to accomplish, whatever) during the period.

Hmm, I scanned the next few pages, through http://wiki.playasbeing.org/Classes_and_Sessions/The_99_Days_project/99.001_-_2011.09.01/-5___2011.08.27 which is empty so far. I like the idea of doing a "pause 9" before you go to sleep, so that's what I will do.

    I started today.

My resolution is to do at least 10 minutes of body-centered meditative practice every day. That is, Chi Kung (standing practice), T'ai Chi, and/or prostrations.

    Great! welcome on board, Wester.

Eos, I put up the page ahead of my own practice so that it would be ready for others.

My Poem for the first day:

There is that in me that protects
    it resonates with my core

    A novel by l Niven
I protect, thus I am more

A lacuna in life I can be
    A fortress large and strong

    Still life can go forward,
    And all creation belong

I am happy to report that I have drawn and written every day so far. The process has not only motivated me to stop what I am doing and stay present for at least one hour out of 24, it has allowed me to "see" better and more deeply. edited 03:22, 31 Aug 2011
