Paradise Tennant: hmm mentioned it last night dreamt I was holding a necklace one that had very colourful stones like a cross between an opal and labradorite .. all worked in heavy silver remember thinking I had to remember the design that it was important

Lucinda Lavender: when I first started studying about colors and the meaning of them...I found colors came up more in the dreams

Paradise Tennant: they were a very different stone
Paradise Tennant: really shimmery
Lucinda Lavender: it is a stone that gives off a blue shimmer and a yellowish one in a different light
Lucinda Lavender: labradorite
Paradise Tennant: yes this looked like a cross between labradorite and a Mexican opal :)
Lucinda Lavender: Opal is whitish with pinks blues, greens almost every color in them

Paradise Tennant: hmm just found it interesting to look at and for some reason which I do not remember .. thought it was important
Paradise Tennant: just did the test it is very quick

Lucinda Lavender: I sometimes feel like color is medicine
Paradise Tennant: yes me too .. in the summer I wear all kinds of bright colours and pine for them in the winter
Paradise Tennant: it just makes me feel good to wear orange and turquoise

Paradise Tennant: was interesting though and found it very easy to rank the colours that appealed most to me

Lucinda Lavender: well it has been interesting...mother in law came home from nursing home..and after 2 weeks fell just last night

Lucinda Lavender: working on a new floor in our kitchen
Lucinda Lavender: almost done and can move the stove and fridge back in
Paradise Tennant: nice ... always like it when a project is almost there very satisfying

Paradise Tennant: been enjoying the weather long walks outside we have had just a great summer
Paradise Tennant: eat dinner outside most nights :))

Paradise Tennant: so nice to have sunshine we are cold and grey so much of the year

Paradise Tennant: going to take a couple of long weekends this month going to a cottage and have guests coming on the other

Paradise Tennant: I have a dear friend who I only get to spend two weekends a year with on May 24 I go to Ottawa on Labour day she comes here

Lucinda Lavender: well she is in a lot of pain right now...and it will take a few days to get that undercontroll...no need for operation tho

Lucinda Lavender: when the bones are fragile a fall can really mess things up

Paradise Tennant: I guess even though I am not doing anything very special I find mostly I am pretty content
Paradise Tennant: lovely thing about being mature is that it builds up your appreciation for the little things
Lucinda Lavender: maybe the necklace...a sign that beauty is present
Paradise Tennant: having a cup tea sitting chatting with you .. dog at my feet just the nice parts of the day

Paradise Tennant: I find there is a lot of peace and solace in beauty
Paradise Tennant: and it is everywhere .. it surrounds us if we look
Lucinda Lavender: takes strength to wear as well
Lucinda Lavender: keeps us in the present
Paradise Tennant: the gladiolas I was admiring at lunch .. my dog's big smile on our evening walk just everywhere
Paradise Tennant: wondering if I should try to make it
Lucinda Lavender: sure!
Paradise Tennant: don't do silver working usually just string .. bead and some easy silver wire work
Lucinda Lavender: maybe drawing it and getting someone else to make it
Paradise Tennant: smiles yes maybe that is a better option
Lucinda Lavender: or paint it
Paradise Tennant: will take the sketch to work and scan it
Lucinda Lavender: painting things...makes me think of the artists here in SL
