I had moved to Kira Cafe because of a region restart.
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hi Zen
Zen (zen.arado): Hi Bleu
Zen (zen.arado): I was watching for the region coming back
Zen (zen.arado): Hi Yaku
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hi Yaku
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): hey :)
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): i left at a good place as it seems
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Zen (zen.arado): region went off at 7.18
Bleu (bleu.oleander): :)
Zen (zen.arado): diferent time each week
Zen (zen.arado): no continuity
Zen (zen.arado): or could plan around it
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): well at least that it´s usually wednesdays
Zen (zen.arado): yeh
Bleu (bleu.oleander): used to be tuesdays?
Lab as being project:
Zen (zen.arado): how's the project going Bleu?
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): yes, i think at some point it was tuesdays
Bleu (bleu.oleander): our team is doing great! yours?
Zen (zen.arado): yes...just playing with ideas
Bleu (bleu.oleander): we came up with a good concept on our first meeting
Bleu (bleu.oleander): are now in production stage :)
Zen (zen.arado): we tried one but now on another
Bleu (bleu.oleander): actually Yaku got us started :)
Zen (zen.arado): it is trickier collaborating
Bleu (bleu.oleander): fun to brainstorm with others I think
Zen (zen.arado): more fun in some ways
Bleu (bleu.oleander): our was a real collaborative effort
Zen (zen.arado): will you all build?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes
Bleu (bleu.oleander): helping each other
Zen (zen.arado): you have to give permissions then
Bleu (bleu.oleander): building on my plot
Bleu (bleu.oleander): so already have perms
Bleu (bleu.oleander): (no peeking) haha
Zen (zen.arado): but to allow different people to work on same project
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): we're all building elements that will go together in the final project
Zen (zen.arado): we found that I couldn't take a copy of project
Zen (zen.arado): ah I see
Bleu (bleu.oleander): depends how the perms are set
Zen (zen.arado): yeh
Bleu (bleu.oleander): also the textures have to be set
Zen (zen.arado): hmmm
Bleu (bleu.oleander): 50 prims can seem like a lot or a little depending on concept
Zen (zen.arado): yeh
Zen (zen.arado): perhaps the building is the easy part
Zen (zen.arado): ideas can be harder
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes
Zen (zen.arado): or ideas that are shared
Bleu (bleu.oleander): the theme is pretty open too
Zen (zen.arado): Mellow found it hard to work out what we are talking about
Bleu (bleu.oleander): and one that everyone can relate to
Bleu (bleu.oleander): ah yes
Zen (zen.arado): and I find it hard to explain
Bleu (bleu.oleander): has she been to PaB that much?
Zen (zen.arado): not that much...only lately
Zen (zen.arado): she makes mandalas
Zen (zen.arado): she started showing me how
Bleu (bleu.oleander): oh nice
Zen (zen.arado): so I though I would use her expertise
Bleu (bleu.oleander): very good
Zen (zen.arado): thought
Zen (zen.arado): I need to learn more about building creatively
Zen (zen.arado): see what is achievable
Bleu (bleu.oleander): takes practice and doing it often
Zen (zen.arado): yes
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): and i already admire you as you are zen :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes, you're very talented Zen!
Zen (zen.arado): well we have to work with what we have
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Zen (zen.arado): I don't really think so
Zen (zen.arado): not very creative
Bleu (bleu.oleander): we are what we tell ourselves we are :)
Zen (zen.arado): yeh ...how do we know?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): how we talk to ourselves is important
Zen (zen.arado): depends who we compare ourselves to
Bleu (bleu.oleander): can really influence how we think of ourselves
Zen (zen.arado): was listening to a radio prog about Leonardo this morning
Zen (zen.arado): Leonardo da Vinci
Zen (zen.arado): how he went around making little sketches of people
Zen (zen.arado): in everyday poses
Zen (zen.arado): so he could draw them properly in 'The Last Supper'
Bleu (bleu.oleander): life drawing is an important skill for an artist I think
Zen (zen.arado): yes
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): which channel is it zen ?
Zen (zen.arado): Radio 4 Yaku
Zen (zen.arado): http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01m5dw6
Zen (zen.arado): it's on every morning this week
Zen (zen.arado): heh...we'll do the last supper as a project :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): looks like I can watch it online :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): haha
Zen (zen.arado): I have missed most of them
Zen (zen.arado): just caught snatches as I did other things
Zen (zen.arado): should just sit and listen
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): hey eliza
Zen (zen.arado): Hi Eliza :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Hey Yaku, Bleu, Zen :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hey Eliza :)
Zen (zen.arado): marooned in Kira as usual :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): always so strange to see the "this location may no longer exist" message
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): when trying to teleport here
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes!
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): to the pavilion rather
Zen (zen.arado): vanished into the abyss
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): ! guardians of the void
Bleu (bleu.oleander): :)
Zen (zen.arado): just a black hole
Shadow of Immeasureables:
Zen (zen.arado): I was going to introduce topic of shadow side of 4 immeasurables
Zen (zen.arado): maybe too late now
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I'd love to hear
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes
Zen (zen.arado): 'It is said that meditation practice deepens us naturally into the experience of the the four Brahma-Viharas or "sublime abodes." These are Loving Kindness (metta), Sympathetic Joy (mudita), Compassion (karuna), and Equanimity (upekkha). Each of these qualities has a shadow side, which are known as the "near enemies." Near enemies resemble the actual Brahma-Viharas, but they are not them exactly. There are also "far enemies" of each abode, which are the opposite of the original quality'
Zen (zen.arado): or 'near enemies'
Zen (zen.arado): I knew I had heard of this before
Zen (zen.arado): Jack Kornfield talks about them a lot
Zen (zen.arado): 'The near enemy of Loving Kindness is attached love. This can take the form of a romantic relationship that is based on dysfunctional co-dependence, or upon lust and desire. As long as we are getting what we want from the relationship, we feel the love. This can also be called "conditional love" - it is affection with strings attached. The far enemy of Loving Kindness is hatred or ill-will.'
Zen (zen.arado): I think of romantic love as this very often?
Zen (zen.arado): quite selfish
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): interesting angle - shadow not as polar opposite but negative space (?) reflection....
Zen (zen.arado): yes
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): indication that the point is nearby
Zen (zen.arado): the 'far' enemy is hate
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): or hinted at
Bleu (bleu.oleander): I think love is many-faceted
Bleu (bleu.oleander): always changing
Zen (zen.arado): yes Bleu
Zen (zen.arado): these descriptions always oversimplify I think
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hard to say what is the opposite of something that is always changing
Zen (zen.arado): but maybe have some validity
Bleu (bleu.oleander): danger in oversimplifying
Zen (zen.arado): romantic love could be an early stage of something deeper?
Zen (zen.arado): that develops
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes
Zen (zen.arado): or not....
Bleu (bleu.oleander): even different varieties of romantic love
Bleu (bleu.oleander): we base our ideas of love on what we've experienced
Zen (zen.arado): I find a lot of these kind of teachings in Theravadin Buddhism
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me nods.... agree with complexities and intricasies being hard to pin down to points....
Zen (zen.arado): it's as if they like it written down and clear
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): or not experienced but hoped for
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes
Zen (zen.arado): but then an oversimplification
Bleu (bleu.oleander): how do we form our ideas about what we hope for?
Zen (zen.arado): just my angle
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): hard to be completely "realistic" about love
Zen (zen.arado): Hi Xiri :)
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): hey xirana
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Hi Xiri :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hi Xiri
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hello everyone! :-)
Zen (zen.arado): yeh..realism and love don't mix :)
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): well they have to mix
Bleu (bleu.oleander): /me notices almost my whole team is here :)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :)
Zen (zen.arado): listens for secrets
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): but in many of these texts there *are* distinctions... "Great Love" Maha Karuna
Zen (zen.arado): yeh and agape and philia etc
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): so the attachment sort of love does have place as a (shadow?) quality, pointer.... perhaps
Zen (zen.arado): co-dependence is strange one
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Sufis are amazing in articulating this... and some other texts.... Song of Solomon.... there is a depth and desperation there of devotion
Zen (zen.arado): isn't that ok?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): desperation of devotion?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hey mp :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): longing... "my heart follows hard after thee"
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hi mighty:)
boxy's nose: Bleu slowly strokes boxy's wet nose
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): ha!
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Hello Mighty Pirate
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): deja vu :)
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): hrrrrrr
boxy's nose: Yaku clicks boxy's nose
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): the hi and mighty...
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): wait, let me guess... sim restart?
boxy's nose: Xirana clicks boxy's nose
Zen (zen.arado): yep
Bleu (bleu.oleander): you are such a smart puppy mp
Zen (zen.arado): Hi Boxy
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): guess my point was that those texts sure sound "attached" to me : )
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes, was thinking same
Zen (zen.arado): what about compassion then :
Zen (zen.arado): 'Compassion's near enemy is pity. When we feel compassion for someone, we hold them close to us, much as we would comfort a small child who is hurt or frightened and has come to us for soothing. Pity, on the other hand, suggests a distancing of ourselves from another; of not seeing them as connected to us in any way but as an object that we need to keep separate from. The far enemy of Compassion is cruelty.'
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): or Wuthering Heights... "I cannot live without my life"
Team talk:
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): oh, blue. is it mandatory to have a team for the art of being?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes mp
Bleu (bleu.oleander): at least 2
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): ok
Zen (zen.arado): compulsory team membership
Bleu (bleu.oleander): 2 puppies
Zen (zen.arado): heh
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): mila and mp
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): benevolent dictator Bleu
Zen (zen.arado): nope
Bleu (bleu.oleander): haha
Zen (zen.arado): or I could have enlisted Jan :)
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): i proposed to kori :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hey that's a question ... can alts be part of a team?
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): hope she says yes :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): wow get down on one knee?
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): ;)... it would be interesting to see the art work of your team ...myghty and mila :))
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): bleu, that would be cheating, i think :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): hmmm
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): eliza, no such animation sadly :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): a loop hole
Zen (zen.arado): a First American science object ;)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): depends on how independent they are from one another... some may have alts who are more different than 'other' avatars
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): ;-)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): exactly
Zen (zen.arado): hmmm
Bleu (bleu.oleander): both have to show up and explain how they worked together at the session :)
Zen (zen.arado): Jan could add frills to mine
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :))
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): "but he's the quiet one"
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): actually, in my case, given the art item, it'd be easier to go with an alt :)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hehe...good point Bleu:)) it will be fun:))
Bleu (bleu.oleander): so go for it mp
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): yay! :)
Zen (zen.arado): or perhaps Mellowdee might work better with jan
Bleu (bleu.oleander): Lab is the theme so could be an interesting experiment
Zen (zen.arado): a girlie project
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): eliza is a girly girl... i think :)
Zen (zen.arado): wonder how much our projects reflect us?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :) into grooming you mean?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): what makes a girly girl a girly girl?
Zen (zen.arado): are they an image of ourselves?
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): eliza, your kind attitude combined with stylish wardrobe :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): are there girly puppies?
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): well.... a little bit of ourselves I think they can be
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :) Ah girly as kind.... sign me up
Zen (zen.arado): sensitivity?
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): bleu, i think most puppies are cuddly girly creatures :)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes, sensitivity... sure!
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): it feels a very masculine quality to be confident in gentleness
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): zen, yes. sensual, too.
Bleu (bleu.oleander): we thought we were picking a girly puppy and got a 100lb football playing puppy haha
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): hahah Bleu
Zen (zen.arado): a pit bull puppy
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :))
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Zen (zen.arado): awww bet a pit bull is still a great puppy
Bleu (bleu.oleander): she's bigger than our male dog and tackles really hard!
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): many faces and kinds of love.... nice when a side track returns : )
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): puppy love...
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): is it possible to 'write' over an onject in SL..or one must upload a writen texture?
Zen (zen.arado): muses on 'confident in gentleness'
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): over an object*
Bleu (bleu.oleander): I think you need a texture
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): ok:) thank you Bleu:)
Zen (zen.arado): think yo have to make a text texture and upload Xiri
Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): be well be gentle
Bleu (bleu.oleander): you can put text over an object
Zen (zen.arado): I will have to do it
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :) Be well gentleman Yaku
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): sleepy pup: http://i.imgur.com/apIfV.gif
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes.... I think so, but I was not sure:)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): scripts for that
Bleu (bleu.oleander): bye Yaku
Zen (zen.arado): bye Yaku
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): auf, yaku san
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): bye bye Yaku:)
Zen (zen.arado): ha we left out the compassion
Zen (zen.arado): had no time for compassion :(
Zen (zen.arado): anyway I knew that one
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): there is a lot in there... would like to return to it...
Artistic endeavours:
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): how's the gallery scene in arizona, bleu?
Zen (zen.arado): about pity
Bleu (bleu.oleander): gallery scene is kinda quiet
Zen (zen.arado): hard times
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): deserted? :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): :)
Zen (zen.arado): that's why us artists are here
Bleu (bleu.oleander): cowboy art still alive and well though
Zen (zen.arado): instead of in RL working
Zen (zen.arado): cowboy art?
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): bleu, i imagine you'd have a better scene somewhere in the bay area
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): antlers on the walls?
Zen (zen.arado): cactus scenes?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): did you all visit the b&w cube show at LEA?
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes :-) but here are also empty most of the time:)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes, I have visited :)
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): no, i don't travel in sl
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I visited a few you urled me to.... they were very colorful though
Zen (zen.arado): I went to a place but couldn't figure it out
Bleu (bleu.oleander): new shows .... b&W cubes
Zen (zen.arado): seemed to be in space
Bleu (bleu.oleander): over 20 sims
Zen (zen.arado): when we get good at these projects we can do a whole sim
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): ohhh then I have not visited all
Bleu (bleu.oleander): http://lindenarts.blogspot.com/
Bleu (bleu.oleander): some of them very nice
Zen (zen.arado): one I saw give you one free for 6 months
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): have you participated, Bleu?
Zen (zen.arado): to put an art project on
Bleu (bleu.oleander): we could apply for a whole sim as a group
Bleu (bleu.oleander): might be fun
Zen (zen.arado): yes
Bleu (bleu.oleander): LEA underwrites
Bleu (bleu.oleander): for 6 mos
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): usually artsits that create at LEA have an enormous amount of prims to play with
Bleu (bleu.oleander): a whole sims worth
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I went to a protest at LEA... was pretty fun...
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): oh, protest? against what?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): never quite figured that out :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): lol
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): lol
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): btw, seen this impressive piece of art the other day: http://i.imgur.com/UdMLJ.jpg
Bleu (bleu.oleander): more party than protest?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): well it was performance art in itself
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): ah, ok
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): did it have a 'subject'?
Zen (zen.arado): these get beyond anything we imagined before
Zen (zen.arado): can't do it in RL
Zen (zen.arado): I need more imagination
Zen (zen.arado): have to try LSD or something
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): it was a combination of ideas Xiri... pretty chaotic but interesting
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Oh did you see that article Zen?
Zen (zen.arado): no?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): oooh, one moment...
LSD experimentation and Creativity:
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): http://www.themorningnews.org/article/the-heretic
Bleu (bleu.oleander): http://www.amazon.com/Hallucinations.../dp/0307957241
Bleu (bleu.oleander): looks like an interesting book
Bleu (bleu.oleander): out in Nov
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): ah interesting
Zen (zen.arado): did it work Eliza?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): well it is a fascinating article...
Zen (zen.arado): 1966 a long time ago
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): and toward the end they talk about "microdoses"...
Bleu (bleu.oleander): http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2...7fa_fact_sacks
Bleu (bleu.oleander): a preview of the book
Zen (zen.arado): interesting....
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me speaks to camera "Eliza does not condone LSD experimentation kids"
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): it's lon...I'll read it later...but I see it as very dangerous to use drugs for any purpose... and plus to say "LSD absolutely had helped them solve their complex, seemingly intractable problems."... but must read it all :)
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): isn't creativity through meditation is what buddhism is trying to achieve in part?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): /me likes "speaks to the camera" :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): many people who later became meditators felt that drug use was a very harsh way at creative aspirations, with high price
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): *feel
Zen (zen.arado): meditation helps by allowing thoughts to subside
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): but considering our culture how which so readily gives prescriptions... I think the conversation is an interesting one
Bleu (bleu.oleander): so many ways to spark creativity ... some less harmful than others :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): *now=how
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): eliza, a zombie society? :)
Zen (zen.arado): I often get iddeas during meditation
Bleu (bleu.oleander): I get a lot of my ideas in the shower haha
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :)) me too, and walking....
Zen (zen.arado): Pema said one time that he records ideas from meditation
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hahaha wonderful Bleu!!! :)
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): lsd is fun, but i somehow prefer my own default perspective
Zen (zen.arado): I get them eating dinner
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I do get a lot of mental drawings walking the dogs:)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Alan Ginsburg was big on that too Zen - haikus during zazen, he would be corrected for it
Bleu (bleu.oleander): seems ideas percolate during sleep and surface in the shower
Zen (zen.arado): I see it as my default perspective boxy
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): the most difficult is to translate them to the paper:)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): yes, walking dogs is good too
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): bleu, how much time do you spend in the shower? :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): similar to my process too... sleep crucial
Zen (zen.arado): just that everyday life clouds it over
Bleu (bleu.oleander): keep showering as long as the ideas keep coming .... hahaha
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me laughs
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hehe :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): being clean is a side effect
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): xiri, yes. i think it's a similar culprit for writers as well.
Zen (zen.arado): hard to write in the shower though
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): hahah
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): bleu :)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): yes! :-)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I shared the story at one retreat, that when my kids were little I'd put them in the bath tub in order for them to relax enough to bubble up all their stories
Bleu (bleu.oleander): exactly
Zen (zen.arado): nice Eliza ;)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): try it ... less side effects than LSD
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): very nice:)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): incredibly creative time ... also washing dishes... warm bubbly water :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): hah Bleu, for sure
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): oh nooes! washing dishes suck!
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): haha
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): water is very comforting
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): mhm
Bleu (bleu.oleander): perhaps relaxes you to have ideas
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): to me water is energizing
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): i like cold shower
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me remembers washing shepherd dogs outside as a kid and then they'd run to roll in the dirt..grr
Zen (zen.arado): ohhhh
Bleu (bleu.oleander): haha
Zen (zen.arado): :)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): :)
Zen (zen.arado): and shake water everywhere
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): yes :D
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): aw
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): yeah... it is that time...
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): oh, eliza. how does tap water becomes holy in church?
Bleu (bleu.oleander): have to get to work ... take care all
Zen (zen.arado): byee Bleu
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): that's a good question Xiri :)
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): bye bye Bleu! have a nice day! :)
Bleu (bleu.oleander): byee
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): shower well, bleu
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me waves warmly to Bleu
Zen (zen.arado): priest blesses it
Zen (zen.arado): ?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): that's what I'd think....
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I wasn't raised Catholic
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): it's mighty's question Eliza:)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): but there is "holy water" and I imagine that means it is prayed over?
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): have you seen those books that show the water particles change with positive thoughts? :)
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): so, by waving of a hand of an appointed clergyman?
Zen (zen.arado): Hi Steno
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Hi Steno
steno Jacobus: hi parli italiano?
Zen (zen.arado): haven't seen that Eliza
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): hello Steno
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): let me see if I can find a link
Zen (zen.arado): no Steno
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): eliza, yes. heard those stories.
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): http://witnessthis.wordpress.com/201...ter-molecules/
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I've never heard about these book
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): i think it's essentially an attachment. you mull over at particular water enough that it becomes special aka "holy".
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): like a rock that you pick on a dirt road and bring home and keep it on your shelf for a year
Zen (zen.arado): interwsting
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): yes.... becomes sacred
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): I must go now... take care all! and see you soon! :-)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): I don't necessarily resonate with this story, for whatever reason
Zen (zen.arado): has a bearing on current science/spirituality discussion?
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): bye, xiri girl :)
Zen (zen.arado): byee Xiri :)
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): Bye Xiri, lovely to see you
Xirana (xirana.oximoxi): bye bye guapinos y guapina:)
Zen (zen.arado): the mystery of water
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): mystery of mystery - but yes it could, nature of the subject
Zen (zen.arado): 'What’s more is that water is one of the most complex and unique compounds known to science and chemistry. It may just be a simple combination of hydrogen and oxygen, but the intricacies of water are far more complex. It is not only the most receptive element, but also the only one that can be in all known states (e.g. solid, liquid, gas).'
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): ty Zen :)
Zen (zen.arado): I better go too
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): ha, i like how it says "scientist" in the article
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me nods... controversial and he witheld pictures
Zen (zen.arado): thanks for coming
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): wiki says "a Japanese author and entrepreneur, best known for his claims that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water."
Zen (zen.arado): region juts came back too
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): :) waves and particles ....
Zen (zen.arado): byee
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): bye for now
Eliza (eliza.madrigal): /me waves to Boxy
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): "In 1992 he received certification as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines in India"
mighty pirate (alfred.kelberry): :)
