    Lucinda Lavender: good morning Eliza:)
Eliza Madrigal: Morning Luci :) How are you?
    Lucinda Lavender: waking and rezzing:)
    Lucinda Lavender: fine
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I had an interesting dream this morning
    Eliza Madrigal listens
Lucinda Lavender: do you have one too perhaps?
Eliza Madrigal: I can share a snippet from an interesting dream this week if you like
Eliza Madrigal: I'll follow you :)
    Lucinda Lavender: great!
    Lucinda Lavender: here goes...
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Lucinda Lavender: I / perhaps my daughter....am in a brightly lit gymnasium. In my hand is a Barbie ...andI am saying or thinking about how hard it is to keep/get ahold of these ...they are special to me and to many others. I decided to use a deck of some sort to ask a question about them...I ask...What is Play as Being? and it is like I am looking at an Ipad screen...and the answer comes...Across the top of the card it says"I am God". and as I touch the screen to look further it is like the page does not really open ...just an indeterminent inbetween world/page. end of dream
Lucinda Lavender: does not really open...
    Eliza Madrigal: wow.... reading again....
Lucinda Lavender: first dream remembered in atlast a month
    Lucinda Lavender: at least
Eliza Madrigal: think due to being quite busy/getting ready for and beginning school?
Eliza Madrigal: it is a puzzling dream... does it feel that way?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes,
Lucinda Lavender: it feels very interesting
Lucinda Lavender: what is you dream image
    Lucinda Lavender: ?
Eliza Madrigal: interesting that barbies are sort of like what one begins with, with avatars
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
Lucinda Lavender: have thought that before
    Lucinda Lavender: in real/@L
    Lucinda Lavender: 2L
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Lucinda Lavender: putting on clothes
Eliza Madrigal: OK... this is longly typed out (snipping it from a journal) but really just one image of a much longer dream -
Lucinda Lavender: in this they were precious
Eliza Madrigal: ah... precious.... nice... am musing with that too...
    Eliza Madrigal: dream:
Eliza Madrigal: A modern house I feel the host of is on top of a red mountain in a place that otherwise looks ancient and undeveloped. There is a doorway that leads to a ski-lift type vehicle which takes me far far up into even higher and more isolated mountains, and there are villagers all along the route
    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: It is a completely different world outside than in. There are again two women (two women in early 30s earlier in the dream), just outside the door but not taking the ski lift. This time they are an older woman with a young girl on the verge of teenage years.
Eliza Madrigal: I keep going out and coming back from the high mountains to the house, but I am called to keep returning to the more ancient and less developed world. It is really an amazing setting and hard to describe – mountains like the Himalayas but red and an entirely different feeling to the world I’ve experienced.
Eliza Madrigal: I know that at some point I will not be coming back to the modern house and will stay out there. The sky feels different from any sky I’d been under… like walking into a Natl Geographic picture.
    Eliza Madrigal: [done]
Lucinda Lavender: INteresting...in both dreams there are more than one generation of women...and in both unusual worlds
Lucinda Lavender: I thought of mars
Eliza Madrigal: yes the 'in between worlds' feeling
    Eliza Madrigal: ah :))
Lucinda Lavender: and your has both the modern and the ancient
Eliza Madrigal: earlier in the dream there were several TSK books
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: which is why I wondered which part to share with you once you mentioned saying Play as Being in the dream.... which to me is so fascinating
Lucinda Lavender: feels like connection to Himalyas?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes..
    Lucinda Lavender: pondering
Eliza Madrigal: well they weren't the Himalayas... but the peaks were similar
Eliza Madrigal: so that was my best image to compare
Eliza Madrigal: I love that there is modern tech in your dream - I pad...
    Lucinda Lavender: nods
Lucinda Lavender: at my house we call the laptop...the sparkle box and the ipad the sparklette
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Lucinda Lavender: Barbie is pretty sparklly
    Lucinda Lavender: places that shine
Eliza Madrigal: she can be :)
Lucinda Lavender: my thought that I had not had in a while is...
Lucinda Lavender: that I learned that Barbie was designed by a wife of a toy manufacturer...who watched her daughters play with some european dolls and practice at being grown up
    Eliza Madrigal: interesting
Lucinda Lavender: she teold her husband about how important this was to them
Lucinda Lavender: we need places to picture far horizons inside and out poerhaps
    Lucinda Lavender: perhaps
Lucinda Lavender: when filling out our shapes:)
Eliza Madrigal: Barbie receives a lot of criticism, but I remember as a young girl, she was a window into dreams and also world culture actually - Barbies from various countries, even if they were simplistic
Lucinda Lavender: Ah! and she is for play!
    Lucinda Lavender: play and dream
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, true
Eliza Madrigal: playing as Being grown up?
Lucinda Lavender: yes...maybe we have the inside dream of who we are
Eliza Madrigal: what did you feel when the screen said "I am God"?
Lucinda Lavender: something less conscious becoming conscious
Lucinda Lavender: Well that is very interesting isn't it...I wonder at that...for me ...if there is god it is in all things
    Eliza Madrigal: tat tvam asi
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello oO0Oo
Lucinda Lavender: the ipad touch screen like a window to this as well
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Luci, Hi Eliza.. will just sit quietly.. please carry on
Lucinda Lavender: wish you were here earlier O
Lucinda Lavender: hmmm how to share so much
    Lucinda Lavender: two dreams
Lucinda Lavender: I will try to copy and paste
    --BELL--

oO0Oo Resident: It's Okay Luci.. Eliza.. don't interrupt your flow..
Eliza Madrigal: no trouble to make a note...
    Eliza Madrigal: sure Luci
Lucinda Lavender: I am typing with a cat on my lap
Lucinda Lavender: looks like the link I accidentally placed here is kind of playful as well...emerging
    oO0Oo Resident: : )
Lucinda Lavender: the stack of pancakes are now part of the play
    oO0Oo Resident: ty Eliza
oO0Oo Resident: "we need places to picture far horizons inside and out "
Lucinda Lavender: inside and outside landscapes, yes
    Alfred Kelberry: oh, eliza? :)
    Lucinda Lavender: hi Alfred:)
Lucinda Lavender: we have been pondering some dreams.
Alfred Kelberry: ah, animal avs hour :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Alfred :)
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Alf
Lucinda Lavender: had a dream lately O or alfred?
    Alfred Kelberry: i've had one
Lucinda Lavender: would love it if you wish to share...
    Alfred Kelberry: usual vague oddness
    NANO Delicioso: hola
    Alfred Kelberry: oi, nano
    Lucinda Lavender: hello Nano...

Eliza Madrigal: Hola NANO - will IM you so as not to disturb the group
    Lucinda Lavender: thanks Eliza

Alfred Kelberry: nano, wrong tp? :)
    oO0Oo Resident: Hola Nano!
    Alfred Kelberry: habla ingles?
    Alfred Kelberry: congrats!
    --BELL--

    Alfred Kelberry: cuantos anos tienes?
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Eliza Madrigal: So what is your dream Alfred?
    Lucinda Lavender: Luci listens
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
oO0Oo Resident: Ciao Nano. Benvenuti. Si prega di sedersi, e unisciti se lo si desidera. Parliamo di sogni. Abbiamo solo parlare bene l'inglese qui. Scusi. Ho visto il tuo messaggio con "TP".
Alfred Kelberry: as i said, usual vague oddness - nothing of substance to share :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh.... thought you were going to share with us even if you found it vague, OK
Lucinda Lavender: even an image is fine
Alfred Kelberry: i don't look into dreams
Alfred Kelberry: they just come and go
Eliza Madrigal: I had a few more dreams this week... one had many cats with unusual eyes .... vertical eyes... maybe affected by conversations here, hah
    Lucinda Lavender: :))
    Lucinda Lavender: unusual seeing ..
    Eliza Madrigal: more windows
oO0Oo Resident: I dreamed I was walking in a wide expansive place
    oO0Oo Resident: felt purposeful
    oO0Oo Resident: toward the horizon
    Lucinda Lavender: interesting O
    oO0Oo Resident: one aspect, was
oO0Oo Resident: the direction I was travelling
oO0Oo Resident: was into the wind
oO0Oo Resident: a steady, strong wind
oO0Oo Resident: which was odd, as the features of the plain landscape
oO0Oo Resident: were the same in all directions
oO0Oo Resident: so was I aiming for anything?
    oO0Oo Resident: I was wondering
oO0Oo Resident: I began to sing
oO0Oo Resident: and as i did
oO0Oo Resident: the wind became stronger
oO0Oo Resident: I became immersed in the song
    oO0Oo Resident: in a way
    oO0Oo Resident: as though
    oO0Oo Resident: becoming it
    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: evocative - day dream or night dream, O?
oO0Oo Resident: the song had a kind of courageous quality, and there was a chorus, which was very satisfying to come to. A wonderful feeling, when the chorus would come. And during each, I seemed to become less solid.
    oO0Oo Resident: [morning Eliza]
    Eliza Madrigal: ty :::listens::::
    Lucinda Lavender: wow)
oO0Oo Resident: My body seemed to become sharp, if i can say that, each chorus.. sharper..
    Lucinda Lavender: I love this
    oO0Oo Resident: untill
    oO0Oo Resident: at some point
oO0Oo Resident: there was no longer resistence from the wind.. and it
    oO0Oo Resident: dawned
    oO0Oo Resident: as though
oO0Oo Resident: something so fine in the message of the song
    oO0Oo Resident: became elementally
oO0Oo Resident: the betweenness that allowed everything to pass.. to slip through
    oO0Oo Resident: [done]
Eliza Madrigal: quite a potent dream - remember the music?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi San
Santoshima Resident: hello eliza ~ and felines and box
    Santoshima Resident: y
    Lucinda Lavender: inbetweenness...
Alfred Kelberry: gold medal on paralympics. inspiring. http://i.imgur.com/Mvqdr.jpg
    Lucinda Lavender: HI san:)
    Santoshima Resident: hi luci
oO0Oo Resident: I do not remember the melody, but the quality was a bit like Islamic devotional songs.. with a welling/wave like aspect.. carried in it.. spiralling...
    oO0Oo Resident: hmmm
    oO0Oo Resident: dervish
    oO0Oo Resident: but
    oO0Oo Resident: mixed with
oO0Oo Resident: some kind of traditional military (British) form.. song form.. quality of marching.. and bravery inducing
oO0Oo Resident: and chorus so archingly beautiful
    oO0Oo Resident: felt so good
Eliza Madrigal: gift of a dream, ty for sharing it
Lucinda Lavender: I would love to hear the song...I have to go soon...thanks everyone for all this sharing.

Santoshima Resident: meeting him in person,
    Xirana Oximoxi: yes...come this weekend:)
Alfred Kelberry: she had a big storm which knocked out her router. she's on laptop now.
Santoshima Resident: ah, third person, like she can't talk for herself

Xirana Oximoxi: I can 'speak' but boxy is explanging because I was complaining before to him about thechnonly:)
Santoshima Resident: oh, i thought he was in conversation here
Xirana Oximoxi: what doea 'facepalm' mean?

Alfred Kelberry: xiri: it's ok, san is a bit aggravated :)
Santoshima Resident: not at all bosy
    Xirana Oximoxi: oh! why?
Santoshima Resident: expect such behaviour from you
    Xirana Oximoxi: ui:)
Santoshima Resident: he's kind to some (you) and rude to others (me)
Xirana Oximoxi: San...are you a 'cat'?
Alfred Kelberry: she is not pleased with my behavior
Santoshima Resident: that's expeceted at this time over time
Xirana Oximoxi: a cat inside the water!! :))
Alfred Kelberry: so she tries to poke at me to compensate :)
Santoshima Resident: love your behaviour boxy
    Santoshima Resident: don't go changing
    Xirana Oximoxi: please...be happy:))
    Santoshima Resident: smart, sophistocated, rude
    Santoshima Resident: not poking
    Xirana Oximoxi: clever boxy too:)
Santoshima Resident: just finally telling you up front
Santoshima Resident: you are the one who pokes
    Santoshima Resident: constantly

Alfred Kelberry: xiri, if it's your network card, as the technician said, you can do it yourself
Xirana Oximoxi: yes.... if I knew how:)
Alfred Kelberry: san, thank you for being direct and i am sorry if i upset you

Santoshima Resident: that i doubt very much
Xirana Oximoxi: I have 3 discs as copies of the system

Xirana Oximoxi: I must try to find where is the network card and install it again
    Korel Laloix: Heya
Santoshima Resident: good luck with the computer, xir
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Korel:)
Santoshima Resident: bye and bye korel
Xirana Oximoxi: thank you San :)
Xirana Oximoxi: bye bye San :)
Korel Laloix: What did I miss?
Alfred Kelberry: xiri, look for the cd that says drivers
    Alfred Kelberry: kori :)
    Alfred Kelberry: got your grade?
Korel Laloix: No... listed as "incomplete"... so I sent the teacher an email.
    Alfred Kelberry: ok
Xirana Oximoxi: boxy... I don't find a cd that says 'drivers' :) when I bought this computer it all was automaticly installed...no need to put a cd
Xirana Oximoxi: and then I did a copy for recovery the sistem in case it was necessary
Alfred Kelberry: yes, they usually still provide you with cds with drivers on them
Xirana Oximoxi: it took 3 cds that were given in the computer:)
    --BELL--

Xirana Oximoxi: the cds were empty but they copied the info...I hope:)
Alfred Kelberry: there's no need to recover the system if your desktop works. you only need the network drivers installed.
Xirana Oximoxi: yes... but I suppose the netwok drivers are copied in these cds
Xirana Oximoxi: I muat try to find:)
    Xirana Oximoxi: must
Alfred Kelberry: what os is on the desktop?
Korel Laloix: back in a bit
Xirana Oximoxi: boxy... it is in Spanish...i have a window that says 'administrador de dispositivos
Alfred Kelberry: is it windows 7?
Xirana Oximoxi: don't worry..I will try to find .9
    Xirana Oximoxi: yes
Alfred Kelberry: ok, go to start -> control panel -> system and security -> then choose device manager
Alfred Kelberry: you can see if your network card is recognized by the system from there
    Xirana Oximoxi: moment
Xirana Oximoxi: I know it is not recognised by the system, because when I try to connect to internet it says I must install the controller for the net
Alfred Kelberry: ok, anyway, look under network adapters in the device manager to confirm
Xirana Oximoxi: I don't know what 'device manager' may be in Spanish :(
Xirana Oximoxi: I see an option that says I can restore my sistem to a concrete point in the time..maybe I can try it
Alfred Kelberry: you can try :)
Xirana Oximoxi: it also says I can loose some programms recently installed and some 'controladores'
Xirana Oximoxi: what may these 'controladores be'?
Xirana Oximoxi: I think 'drivers'= controladores
    --BELL--

Alfred Kelberry: yes, all changes prior to the restore point will be lost
Xirana Oximoxi: but nothing dangerous for my computer, isn't it?
Xirana Oximoxi: it seems the best option...
Alfred Kelberry: not for the computer. it essentially rolls back the state to the chosen point in time.
Xirana Oximoxi: ok.. I am reading how to get this point of time.9
Xirana Oximoxi: ok...I am doing it ...back to 26 august :)
    Alfred Kelberry: wee! :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I hope it works:)
    Alfred Kelberry: me too :)
Alfred Kelberry: your mike is on :)
    Alfred Kelberry: start + R
    Alfred Kelberry: devmgmt.msc
    --BELL--

    Alfred Kelberry: cmd
    Alfred Kelberry: ipconfig /all
