Korel Laloix: The 90 second pauses don't do that for me, but PaB does in general.

Xirana Oximoxi: but every person uses the 90 seconds in different ways...I usually continue doing things, reading, rereading
Korel Laloix: Get a snack, talk to Mother Nature, etc

Xirana Oximoxi: it gives me time to take a breath of reading and understanding
Korel Laloix: IT does that sometimes for me as well when I can't follow the subject.

Korel Laloix: I normally do about 12 KM a day.. sometimes more occasionally less. I try not to run on Sunday but often fail... smiles

Korel Laloix: So I am trying to decrease it down to 40 miles a week... that is my goal.

Korel Laloix: me without running is worse than me without caffeine. I get rather cranky and lazy.
Xirana Oximoxi: I am complelty lazy to run...I like doing gymm, and swimming a little
Korel Laloix: That soudns lovely... I wish I could swim.
Korel Laloix: I just sink so no point for me.
Xirana Oximoxi: I just can do it during summer...where I live is too cold and the swimming pool is not climatised :-)
Xirana Oximoxi: but in general I am not very sportive :-)
Korel Laloix: I have ran all of my life..... maybe the only consistent thing for me.

Korel Laloix: When I broke my leg back in Junior High and I could not run, it was a huge crisis for me.

Korel Laloix: I started running as one of the rehabilitation things from when by pelvis was broken when I was little.
Xirana Oximoxi: yes, I understand that when you are used to it you need it to feel good
Korel Laloix: And even back then loved how it made me feel....after the initial pain was overwith.
Xirana Oximoxi: it's healthy ...with moderation, if the doctor says so
Korel Laloix: I do wear good shoes and change them out every 10 weeks.
Xirana Oximoxi: that's important too
Korel Laloix: Well, I retire a pair every couple of weeks and have a few pair going at the same time.
Xirana Oximoxi: good shoes are very important not only to run..
Xirana Oximoxi: you mean the shoes last only 2 weeks?
Korel Laloix: Like a lot of runners I have a love hate relationship with my feet.
Korel Laloix: No, they last about 400 miles

Korel Laloix: Well that is a common number for a lot of runners.
Korel Laloix: Not sure it is scientific.. but it does seem to have some merit to it.

Korel Laloix: After that, they just don't support like they should.... not to mention the smell... ick... lol
Xirana Oximoxi: maybe the shoes are done to last 400 miles
Korel Laloix: Probably... like cars are built to last one week longer than the warentee...
Xirana Oximoxi: they say that the objects we use could last longer than they do, but if so, the business would not run
Korel Laloix: It is good to update as well though.
Xirana Oximoxi: so...a car, a refrigerator..etc. are done to get broken in '10' years...
Korel Laloix: I really should get a new car.. better milage, more safe, etc.
Xirana Oximoxi: yes...they improve a lot
Korel Laloix: My car is almost as old as I am.
