    Kallie Kira: hi Eden :)
Eden Haiku: Hi Kallie! Good morning!
    Kallie Kira: hi Geoff
    Kallie Kira: morning :)
    Geoff Baily: hi both
    Eden Haiku: Good morning Geoff.
    Geoff Baily: afternoon
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Kallie, Geoff, Eden :)
Kallie Kira: have you been here before Geoff?
Eden Haiku: hello Eliza. Good morning!
    Kallie Kira: hi Eliza :)
    Geoff Baily: hi eliza
Geoff Baily: yes I have 4th time
Kallie Kira: great so you know the session is recorded for the web :)
Geoff Baily: Yes and i have read some of the transcripts!!
    Geoff Baily: Interesting
    Kallie Kira: :)

Kallie Kira: have you been doing the 9sec practice?
    Geoff Baily: Trying to
    Kallie Kira: :)
Geoff Baily: it connects with some of meditation practice of tyring to be in the present
    Eden Haiku: It does, yes.
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Eliza Madrigal: Of continuity
Eden Haiku: «Our litlle life is but a dream/Rounded with some sleep» Shakespeare was aware of that ;-)
Geoff Baily: sometimes I just feel open and 'connected'
    Kallie Kira: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Becoming habitual about the pauses, seems to nurture a kind of rhythm of awareness...
Kallie Kira: sometimes hard to tell where the pauses stop and start :)
    Geoff Baily: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, isn't that what it is all about?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: When I do remember the 9 secs, I always realize how often I forget to remember it ;-(
Eliza Madrigal: that it becomes a mixing... finding its way into everything...
    Geoff Baily: ;)
Eliza Madrigal nods... me too Eden. :)
Geoff Baily: good to share experiences

Eliza Madrigal: For a while I set the clock every day... the mindfulness bell...
Eliza Madrigal: Have you seen that, Geoff?
    Geoff Baily: seen the bell???
Eliza Madrigal: :) A link... I will get it...
Eden Haiku: I read in the PaB info that a good practice would be to write down our experience after the 9 secs but I haven't been able to do this consistently yet. I have a special notebook for PaB, thats is a start I guess ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: http://www.mindfulnessdc.org/mindfulclock.html
    Eliza Madrigal: Yes, it is!
Geoff Baily: yes i have a little book now, an old diary for notes
Eliza Madrigal: I like the idea of having a notebook just for 9 sec afterglow thoughts...
    Geoff Baily: thanks
Eden Haiku: Afetrglow thoughts, what a beautiful expression Eliza!
    Geoff Baily: ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Thank you

    Eden Haiku: Hi Alice.
    Alice Draegonne: hi~
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Alice :)
    --BELL--
Alice Draegonne: how do you think of my avatar?
Eliza Madrigal: Very sweet Alice :)
    Alice Draegonne: thank you~
Eliza Madrigal: SL is surely a bit like Wonderland

Eliza Madrigal: Kallie, may I ask a question...
    Kallie Kira: sure
Eliza Madrigal: You've been involved with PaB quite a long time, doing the practice, etc. I wondered if you have a clear sense of how you've been affected ...
Eden Haiku: Remember Alice, this is the place where we keep silent for 90 secs when the bell rings ^_^. You look great! Alice is new to SL and to Pab
    Pika Laryukov: hallo
Kallie Kira: pretty big question :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Pika :)
    Geoff Baily: hi
Pika Laryukov: do you speak romanian?
Eliza Madrigal smiles... yes.. quite big... but the answer can be as small as you like! :))
    Alice Draegonne: hi~
    Pika Laryukov: buna
    Pika Laryukov: eliza
Kallie Kira: well, I certainly have a sense that I have learned some things :)
Pika Laryukov: hei nimeni nu vorbeste cu mine?
    Eden Haiku: Welcome Pika.
    Pika Laryukov: :::)
    Pika Laryukov: :)

Kallie Kira: Pika, we are having a discussion group
Eden Haiku: You can sit with us if you like.
Kallie Kira: you are welcome to join us if you like
Kallie Kira: have a seat :)
Kallie Kira: we record the sessions - is it ok to include your comments?
    Kallie Kira: lol - adios!
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Eden Haiku: I think she left.

Eliza Madrigal: Kallie, I guess I am wondering if you had a meditative/contemplative practice before pab...
Eden Haiku: I disabled the translator, it takes a lot of sapce on the screen in local chat ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: true, Eden
Kallie Kira: no just some experiences I'd had made me wonder if other people might have had something similar happen to them
    Eden Haiku: listens
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, not to pry but.. experiences?
Eden Haiku: Yes, that sounds interesting Kallie, want to tell us more?
Kallie Kira: different experiences that could be characterized as tapping into being, playing with being :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Geoff Baily: Being?
Eliza Madrigal: It can be like finding an oasis when can share those things :)
    Geoff Baily: ;) nice
Geoff Baily: i like the oasis comparison

Eliza Madrigal: Do you relate to that Geoff?
Geoff Baily: Yes very much so
Geoff Baily: It feels a safe place to be and to share as much or as little as one wants
Eliza Madrigal: To me it seems so silly sometimes, that we can go through our days, busy, etc, and rarely touch on the deepest things ... most inspiring things, with those we are busy with

    Pika Laryukov: hallo
    Eden Haiku: Indeeed
Pika Laryukov: do you speak romanianb?
Eliza Madrigal: coming here breaks down that barrier a bit
    Geoff Baily: ;)
    --BELL--
Pika Laryukov: do you speak romanian???????????
    Pika Laryukov: :)
Eliza Madrigal: No, Pika, you were here before now...
    Pika Laryukov: ok
    Pika Laryukov: age??
Eliza Madrigal: :) I gave you a note about our group... with a link...

    Pika Laryukov: age?
    Eliza Madrigal: Various :)
    Pika Laryukov: from?
    Pika Laryukov: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Personally, I'm from florida, US
    Pika Laryukov: ok
    Pika Laryukov: bye
Eden Haiku: I live in Montreal, North-East of Canada, French speaking part ;-)
Geoff Baily: breaking down barriers is important i think
    Eliza Madrigal nods...

Eliza Madrigal: Since Eden has been part of our group, sharing poetry, I think a bit more about how we share ourselves with others...
Eliza Madrigal: it is easy to allow self-consciousness to rule the day, and I really appreciate that...
Eliza Madrigal: we all have different ways, I guess :)
Geoff Baily: creates the richness of experience
Eliza Madrigal: MM, yes... lets Being shine through....
Geoff Baily: the part we all share
Eden Haiku: ::::::First snow in RL/::::::A few seconds of wonder/At the break of dawn
    Eliza Madrigal smiles.. lovely
    Geoff Baily: ;)
    Eden Haiku: ;-)
    Kallie Kira: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Alice, I notice your tag... do you sit at Zen Retreat?
Eliza Madrigal: Alice is deeply wondering, I guess
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Eden Haiku: Alice might be afk...
Eden Haiku: It was nice to meet you Geoff.
    Geoff Baily: sorry!!!
    Eliza Madrigal: :))) No worries
Eden Haiku: Oh, you were just standing ;-)
Geoff Baily: mistake wrong button, stillnew to SL

Eliza Madrigal: Would anyone like to do an excercize in the upcoming pause?
    Geoff Baily: ok
    Eden Haiku: No problem...
    Eden Haiku: Yes, sure Eliza.
    Alice Draegonne: i'm here!
    Eden Haiku: Hi Alice.
    Geoff Baily: :)
    Alice Draegonne: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Maybe something simple... appreciation perhaps...
    Eden Haiku: ok
    Geoff Baily: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Then we can share notes/poems/words, etc...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, good. Seems to set me on the right foot when we do these in the mornings especially..
    --BELL--
Alice Draegonne: eliza, how do i get rid of my tag?
    Geoff Baily: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Alice, do you have your chat box open? with a tab that says "contacts'? Under that you can find "groups" and active "none"
Eden Haiku: ::::::Alice is so cool/Elis
    Eden Haiku: El
    Eden Haiku: Sorry...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    Alice Draegonne: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Shall we share thoughts about appreciation in the pause?
Geoff Baily: Thankyou for the blue blue sky!!!
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, lovely! makes me think of how often we don't see what's all around us.. the sky...
    Geoff Baily: ;)
Eden Haiku: ::::::Alice is so so cool/::::::Eliza is calm, Geoff too/ ::::::Kallie is tranquil
    Geoff Baily: ;)

Eden Haiku: Thanks for coming Alice. Good luck for your exam.
    Geoff Baily: See you
    Alice Draegonne: thank you everyone!
    Geoff Baily: Good luck

Eliza Madrigal: In the pause, I was uncharacteristically think about mechanics... about our bodies... vision especially
    Eden Haiku: Vision?
Eliza Madrigal: I've been watching a show on the workings of our brains lately, and the intricasies of what it takes to make out an image are astounding....
Eliza Madrigal: one part to see a line... another to give priority and arrange...
Eliza Madrigal: and there is so much that we don't do automatically...
Eliza Madrigal: we fill in, most of our experience, it seems...
Eliza Madrigal: so oddly, I thought, am I seeing Kallie from the view of my avatar, or from the typist?
Eden Haiku: We kind of complete the picture, is that what you mean?
Eliza Madrigal: and then kind of considered how many angles we inhabit and project into without even knowing it...
    Eliza Madrigal: Eden, yes exactly....
Eden Haiku: Like connecting the dots?
    Eliza Madrigal: Yes, great example

Geoff Baily: can one type and have the close view from the atavar at the same time?
    Geoff Baily: yes!!!!
Eliza Madrigal: and I can't help but think about our bodies now... and their workings... so much to be thankful for and amazed by
Geoff Baily: thats a real discovery!!!!
Eliza Madrigal: even when they seem to fail us in various ways
Eliza Madrigal: yes..surely brings things to right where they are
Geoff Baily: sorry didn't mean to break the thread
Kallie Kira: I'm going to grab the log and beat feet :)
Eliza Madrigal: Not at all Geoff... threads weave together
    Kallie Kira: thanks everyone :)
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Kallie, Bye for now
