The Guardian for this meeting was Riddle Sideways. The comments are by Riddle Sideways.

We are asking here "WHO are you".  Not "what do have" nor "what do you do".  We sometimes dip into "what do you need" and "what do you want"

How about eploring "How do you 'do' who you are".

    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Riddle
    stevenaia Michinaga: Wuff
stevenaia Michinaga: sorry, wuff on radar but not here
    Riddle Sideways: good morning Steve
Riddle Sideways: I don't have one o them new fangled radar units
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, was a gift and i don;t know what it's called so if I stop using it I will loose it forever
    stevenaia Michinaga: Ade wrote it
    Riddle Sideways: :)
The ol use it or lose it.
stevenaia Michinaga: aven't seen her around in a while but friends say she is doing well
    stevenaia Michinaga: *Haven't
Riddle Sideways: she is logged in at all times, but asleep somewhere
stevenaia Michinaga: but I haven;t seen you around in quite a while either :)
Riddle Sideways: ooo was going to say that about you just now
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, time zone's will do that
Riddle Sideways: I can only make it to a couple session a week
stevenaia Michinaga: I am at work needing a distraction ATm
Please put aside the phrase "at work needing a distraction" (which brings on an entire topic we all can discuss).
Here is our plot device.  We are so complex/complicated/multi that we can/need/must do the requirements (job) AND desires (distraction).  Maintaining WHO we are during the what we do.

Riddle Sideways: good to be a GoC so I have to be at least at one a week :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: I enjoy my quiet evening here a few times a week, nice to see the "morning" people
Riddle Sideways: sometimes quiet now too
For emphasis, we sit quietly for several minites.
    Riddle Sideways: like right then
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: was thinking about a phrase somebody dropped into a chat this weekend
    stevenaia Michinaga: listens
    Riddle Sideways: Life as Labortory
    Riddle Sideways: then
    Riddle Sideways: Life of Labador
    Riddle Sideways: LoL
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Thinking on the Life of a Labador.

They are ALWAYS smiling and waging their tails.
Oh boy, going outside.  My favorite thing.
Oh boy, food.  My favorite thing.
Oh boy, my friend is home.  My favorite thing
    ...
    [from a old email]

Riddle Sideways: seems to fit with all the APAPB, ESEB, etc.
Riddle Sideways: need a better 'o' word
    stevenaia Michinaga: o?
    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: what is ESEB?
Riddle Sideways: I think I got that wrong... looking it up
    stevenaia Michinaga: YSBS
    Riddle Sideways: yes
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: that was one of the nicer excercizes at the retreats
Riddle Sideways: ESBS, enlightened seeing being seeing
Riddle Sideways: it took a while (I not so enlightened this morning)
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww, yes

Riddle Sideways: oo please tell of retreat exercise for YSBS
Riddle Sideways: your experience (after this time away from retreat)
    stevenaia Michinaga: brb, RL intrdes
    Riddle Sideways: ah yes
    stevenaia Michinaga: back

Riddle Sideways does not know your RL work situation, but imagines of you behind a cash register and answering the meaning of life herein SL
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: ofcourse, isn;t everyone?
stevenaia Michinaga: I am skyping someone listening to them type on Sl whaile they reveive IM's and sitting here while RL phone rings with people asking what the meaning of life is
stevenaia Michinaga: and being with you thinking about the retreat
stevenaia Michinaga: at the retreat, in a group, it;s nice to be able to discuss what was seen, seems to work differently in RL than here
Riddle Sideways: Enlightened Beings enjoy bagging groceries
    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: although the sleacialness at the retreat is it IS much like SL in terms of the relaxed pace of WHEN people speak
    stevenaia Michinaga: *specialness
stevenaia Michinaga: not usually in the nature RL
Riddle Sideways: yes, at least not at resturant last night
Riddle Sideways: 10 people doing their own conversations at once
Riddle Sideways: no 90 sec bell

stevenaia Michinaga: yes it sometimes is nice to speak at a typist pace
Riddle Sideways: but, can be done.
Riddle Sideways: even in the choas/hecktic
Riddle Sideways: there was a wine glass clink
Riddle Sideways: and I went silent for 9 sec
Riddle Sideways: the person next to me did too

Riddle Sideways: other point: a co-worker has a bad 'ummmm' problem
Riddle Sideways: prolly becasue he speaks at typing speed
    Riddle Sideways: annoys others
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, it fills in the gap, but can be distracting to some
Riddle Sideways: he just keeps everybody at his speed
Riddle Sideways: we can think it though while waiting

stevenaia Michinaga: I do hate to leave you, but more RL distractions on their way
stevenaia Michinaga: nice to see you again
Riddle Sideways: ok, understand and thanks
    stevenaia Michinaga: thanks
    --BELL--
    Extra
Riddle Sideways: space/time here to drop something in worth comments
Riddle Sideways: to most a light little chat about being a multi-leveled personallity is not the use this hour could be put to
Riddle Sideways: but these special moments, however short, are important to me
Riddle Sideways: knowing that Stevenaia is [RL] active working/thinking/doing and holds an amount of [SL][virtual] space for Being thought
Riddle Sideways: exploring "reality" has become seeing/hearing/touching/tasting/verbalizing/sencing that all around are the examples of our practices
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: and like that sign says "Don't let the A**holes get you down"
