The Guardian for this meeting was Agatha Macbeth. The comments are by Agatha Macbeth.  I arrived late to an empty pavilion and was just on the point of leaving when Alfred and Ari appeared simultaneously.  And at the same time too....

    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Boxy :)
    Alfred Kelberry: hi
    Alfred Kelberry: alone?
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder where everybody is?
Agatha Macbeth: Hmm, I thought Wol at least would be here
Arisia Vita: I bet she shows up later
    Agatha Macbeth: Working late possibly
Arisia Vita: let's concentrate on the gifts we have... :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Mm, good idea
Alfred Kelberry: how's the uk doing, aga? i've found out today that the olympics has ended
Agatha Macbeth: It's surprisingly warm actually
    Agatha Macbeth: Still raining tho
Agatha Macbeth: and yes the big O is over
Alfred Kelberry: what does the uk press say about it?
Agatha Macbeth: Dunno, I never read it :p
Alfred Kelberry: you don't read the news? :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Nope
      --BELL--1330
Agatha Macbeth: It's always the same anyway
Alfred Kelberry: well, what do people say? was it worth it? did it go well?
Agatha Macbeth: Well it certainly went well from what I make out
Agatha Macbeth: Whether it was worth it is a moot opinion :p
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Agatha Macbeth: But if you have the odd 9 billion to throw around...
    Agatha Macbeth: go for it
Alfred Kelberry: how did you join pab, aga?
    Agatha Macbeth: Well...
Agatha Macbeth: I just turned up here not long I left the orientation island
Agatha Macbeth: found it by pure chance
Alfred Kelberry: oh, a random event :)
Agatha Macbeth: and been here ever since
    Alfred Kelberry: neat
    Agatha Macbeth: Serendipity I think
Alfred Kelberry: did woly greet you here? :)
Agatha Macbeth: I didn't know what on earth was going on mind :p
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes she did!
    Alfred Kelberry: sweet :)
Agatha Macbeth: As a matter of fact she was the one who invited me in
Agatha Macbeth: I used to hide on the roof to listen
Alfred Kelberry: right, and once woly does, there's no way back :)
Agatha Macbeth: No, she's very persuasive
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Agatha Macbeth: It was quite funny really
Alfred Kelberry: ari, what about you?
Arisia Vita: I met Pema at ISM, years ago
Arisia Vita: he invited me to join
Agatha Macbeth: Had I landed at a different welcome centre or gone in another direction, I would never have come here...
    Agatha Macbeth: Nice Ari
Arisia Vita: ISM = International Spaceflight Museum
    Agatha Macbeth: In RL?
Arisia Vita: no, it's a famous sim in sl
    Agatha Macbeth: Still here?
Alfred Kelberry: ari: oh yes, the sim with the rocket models
    Arisia Vita: welcome Bleu
    Arisia Vita: yes
    Alfred Kelberry: very famous, indeed
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Bleu :)
    Bleu Oleander: hiya :)
    Arisia Vita: right boxy
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I must take a look
Alfred Kelberry: artsy goddess - hi :)
    Arisia Vita: it's great
Agatha Macbeth: How are you Bleu?
Alfred Kelberry: ari, you met him by chance while sight-seeing?
    Bleu Oleander: great ... you?
Agatha Macbeth: That must have been great
Arisia Vita: he was very interested in the ISM, helping out
    Agatha Macbeth: Fine thx :)
Arisia Vita: and I was on the board
    Arisia Vita: welcome Mic
    Mickorod Renard: Hi
    Bleu Oleander: hiya Mick
    Agatha Macbeth: Micky! :)
    Mickorod Renard: :))
Alfred Kelberry: ari: ah, didn't know he was involved in this project
Agatha Macbeth: Pema is a true sage
Arisia Vita: yes, he's the one who invited me to be a guardian
Agatha Macbeth: He has good taste too :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Arisia Vita: I don't see him as much as I used to, and I miss him
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, he's very busy in RL
Agatha Macbeth: What about you Mick, how did you find PaB?
Alfred Kelberry: he was quite active in the science community here in sl back then. this is how i found out about pab. via kira astronomy talks that he hosted.
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: (think Mick went afk)
Mickorod Renard: no, sorry, I was pasting a dream or two into notecards
    Agatha Macbeth: Ooh
    Agatha Macbeth: for tomorrow?
Mickorod Renard: how did i find pab?
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Mickorod Renard: I was invited
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Mickorod Renard: only like a dog on a lead
Agatha Macbeth: and you liked it so much you stayed?
Alfred Kelberry: i think from the stories there are 3 main entry points to pab: 1. random, 2. science, 3. spiritual :)
       --BELL--1345
Mickorod Renard: well, i didnt realize at the time it was at the beginning
    Mickorod Renard: as was dreams
Alfred Kelberry: mick, how did you find out about pab?
    Mickorod Renard: and wok
Agatha Macbeth: At the beginning of PaB?
Mickorod Renard: like i say, I was accompanying another avi, and they were invited
Agatha Macbeth: Wish i'd been here in the beginning
    Alfred Kelberry: ah
Bleu Oleander: it only got good after you came here Aggers :)
Alfred Kelberry: aga, i think you've always been here :)
Agatha Macbeth: Seems that way [grin]
    Agatha Macbeth: Genus loci maybe?
Arisia Vita: it gets a little better with each new member
Mickorod Renard: btw, I do have two dreams and if I can make it and anyone wants them at dreams I will post them
Agatha Macbeth: Certainly a few of us now
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes please Mick
Agatha Macbeth: You're not coming in person?
Mickorod Renard: I hope to, but life is crazy
Alfred Kelberry: mick, you keep a dreams diary?
    Agatha Macbeth: YES!
    Agatha Macbeth: Isn't it
Mickorod Renard: i dont plan anything cos otherwise some disaster will happen
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Arisia Vita: life is what happens to us while we're making other plans... :)
Agatha Macbeth: A sound philosophy in my experience
Mickorod Renard: no Alf, i forget most my dreams
    Agatha Macbeth: Me too :(
    Bleu Oleander: me too
    Arisia Vita: me too
Mickorod Renard: but i spose I have about 20 that i have written up
    Mickorod Renard: the special ones
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Mickorod Renard: one may be too rude
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Naah
Arisia Vita: in dreams, it is permitted
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Agatha Macbeth: We're not easily offended
Agatha Macbeth: at least I'm not...
Alfred Kelberry: lucky us who don't remember their dreams - less attachment :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Dream dropping?
Mickorod Renard: good point Alf, my dreams are intense and leave an aftermath of thoughts
Agatha Macbeth: Bleu I think I remember the first time you came here, with TH
    Bleu Oleander: wow good memory
Alfred Kelberry: yes. no need to extract meanings and induce interpretations.
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
Bleu Oleander: dragged TH .. yes
Agatha Macbeth: I remember thinking how amazing your eyes were :)
    Alfred Kelberry: hi, mel :)
    Bleu Oleander: hiya Mell
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Mel
    Mickorod Renard: Hi mel
    Arisia Vita: welcome Mel
    Bleu Oleander: really?
Agatha Macbeth: Nice to see you again
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes!
Alfred Kelberry: oh, how did you come to pab, blue?
    Bleu Oleander: Pema invited us
Bleu Oleander: we met in RL
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, cool
Bleu Oleander: and he told us about Kira
    Bleu Oleander: went there first
Agatha Macbeth: Seems like a lot of people came here through Pem :)
Bleu Oleander: and did a series of rl/sl salons there
Alfred Kelberry: he lured you carefully, via kira :)
Bleu Oleander: then found you guys :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay
Bleu Oleander: and the rest is virtual history
Agatha Macbeth: And became the queen of art as being
    Bleu Oleander: haha

    Agatha Macbeth: Take care babe
    Bleu Oleander: bye bye
    Agatha Macbeth: (colourful as ever)
    Alfred Kelberry: mick, more challenging?
Mickorod Renard: I was fortunate, I hadnt realised how i had become destroyed,,pab has helped re build me
Agatha Macbeth: Nothing like a challenge...
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Agatha Macbeth: 'Destroyed' sounds pretty drastic :(
    Alfred Kelberry: yes
Mickorod Renard: well, i think it was a fair description,,from the present position at least
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
Agatha Macbeth: You were living in France once?
    Mickorod Renard: yes
    Agatha Macbeth: Mm, I remember
Mickorod Renard: my period in the wilderness
Alfred Kelberry: *hugs* glad your parts are well put now :)

    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Nazzy :)
       --BELL--1400

Alfred Kelberry: mick, tell us about your olympics experience!
Agatha Macbeth: Seems to be getting popular
Mickorod Renard: I was overwhelmed by the good feeling
Agatha Macbeth: Specially since that guy won the tour de France
Mickorod Renard: It was tear jerking the feel good ness
    Alfred Kelberry: aww
    Alfred Kelberry: sweet
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, and no security hitches even better
Mickorod Renard: and the feeling of well being in London, along with the freedom etc,,is amazing
Agatha Macbeth: Let's hope it lasts
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Alfred Kelberry: mick, did you at any moment feel the unfair monopoly of the olympics sponsors?
    Mickorod Renard: no
    Alfred Kelberry: good :)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Alfred Kelberry: how much was the ticket for the cycling event?
Mickorod Renard: I suppose if i had been looking for it it would be obvious,,but its not a cheap affair
    Mickorod Renard: a fiver
Agatha Macbeth: Is anything these days?
Agatha Macbeth: Oh that's really good
Mickorod Renard: or you could watch from the road
    Mickorod Renard: for free
Agatha Macbeth: Thought the prices would be more extortionate
Alfred Kelberry: cheaper than i'd expect
Mickorod Renard: there were several events that didnt involve being inside
    Mickorod Renard: triathalon
    Mickorod Renard: road bike races
    Mickorod Renard: marathon
    Agatha Macbeth: Football :p
    Mickorod Renard: and more
Alfred Kelberry: mick, did you visit other venues?
Agatha Macbeth: I actually watched the footy final
    Alfred Kelberry: who played?
    Agatha Macbeth: Mexico v Brasil
Mickorod Renard: I didnt, i tried to get tickets at the beginning and was unsuccesful
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
    Alfred Kelberry: brasil won?
Mickorod Renard: i didnt try afterwards
    Agatha Macbeth: No, Mex 2-1
    Alfred Kelberry: wow
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Agatha Macbeth: and deserved it
Alfred Kelberry: mick, tickets were sold out?
Mickorod Renard: at first yes, cos many seats were promised to groups
Mickorod Renard: but they were released later
    Mickorod Renard: and made available
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Mickorod Renard: but i could watch what I wanted to see outside the stadiums
Alfred Kelberry: well, i prefer the winter olympics :)
Agatha Macbeth: Me too actually :p
Mickorod Renard: my interests are the road racing cycles and the triathalon
Agatha Macbeth: I *do* watch that
Alfred Kelberry: mick, valid choice for a biker :)
Mickorod Renard: hey alf, do you snow board?
Alfred Kelberry: no, i skipped that
    Mickorod Renard: ahh
Agatha Macbeth: Boxy on a snowboard?
Mickorod Renard: I spent 30 plus years on motorcycles but all my injuries are snow board ones
    Mickorod Renard: he he
    Alfred Kelberry: haha
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe you should have spent more time on the snowboard and got better at it ;-)
Mickorod Renard: its the getting better bit that hurts
    mrsnazzy844 Resident: lol :3
Agatha Macbeth: Well surely you don't fall off as much then?
Mickorod Renard: you take more risks
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, understood
Agatha Macbeth: The only skateboarding I ever did was on the playstation
Alfred Kelberry: mick, what's the fastest you drove on a bike?
Alfred Kelberry: aga, expert level? :)
    Mickorod Renard: quite fast
Agatha Macbeth: Nah, kept hitting trees :(
    Alfred Kelberry: aww
    Agatha Macbeth: and snowmen
      --BELL--1415
Alfred Kelberry: did you try to take your boots off? :)
Mickorod Renard: I been close to 300 k
    Alfred Kelberry: wow!
    Agatha Macbeth: KPH?
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Alfred Kelberry: you one speedy biker :)
    Mickorod Renard: its relative
Agatha Macbeth: What's that in mph?
Mickorod Renard: if you are chasing someone who is faster then it feels slow
    Alfred Kelberry: 186
    Agatha Macbeth: Jeez
    Alfred Kelberry: mick :)
Agatha Macbeth: I would have crapped meself
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Mickorod Renard: I didnt make it that quick, maybe 180,,there is alot of other stuff u look at other than the speedo at that speed
    Agatha Macbeth: I can imagine
Agatha Macbeth: The road for one!
Alfred Kelberry: did you get a speed ticket?
Mickorod Renard: even leaning over is dificult cos of increased centrafugal forces
Agatha Macbeth: I can believe it
Mickorod Renard: I only ever got one ticket and that was in france in my car
Agatha Macbeth: I remember how Barry Sheen used to go round corners almost touching the floor
Alfred Kelberry: mick, other times they could not catch you? :)
Mickorod Renard: thats not so bad, but changing direction at speed is something that changes at high speed
    Agatha Macbeth ponders
Mickorod Renard: I recall being shocked that my bike wanted to stay upright when I needed to miss something,,they dont move so easy ,,its the enertia and gyroscopic effects of the spinning wheels
Alfred Kelberry: mick, are you a member of a bike club? do you have an emblem on your leather jacket? :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, right
Mickorod Renard: race tyres are a fraction of the wieght of road tyres
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Mickorod Renard: but in a pucture they have no side wall integrity
Agatha Macbeth: Here's hoping you don't get a puncture then
Alfred Kelberry: geez, a puncture on that speed...
    Agatha Macbeth: owww
Arisia Vita: I must run, rl calls, it's been great being with you all
Arisia Vita: be well and happy
    Alfred Kelberry: thank you, ari
Mickorod Renard: I have had many, but on a road tyre they stay up until u slow down
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Ari dear
    Mickorod Renard: bye arisa
    Agatha Macbeth: Take care
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Mel
Alfred Kelberry: mick, so the trick is to keep going to the nearest shop?
Mickorod Renard: he he , if posible yes
Agatha Macbeth: And hope you don't have a blowout
Mickorod Renard: its funny, one of my dreams is about that
    Alfred Kelberry: a puncture?
    Agatha Macbeth: Dream or nightmare?
Mickorod Renard: on motorbike and punctures
Alfred Kelberry: yes, a common source of disturbance for a biker, i guess
Alfred Kelberry: how do you patch it on the road?
    Alfred Kelberry: there's no spare
Mickorod Renard: well, i dont think about it, but i did spend a season on racetyres,,which were great,,until I had a puncture
    Alfred Kelberry: ouch
Mickorod Renard: it came clean off the rim
Agatha Macbeth: It put you off?
mrsnazzy844 Resident: I've got to run now guy's nice meeting you all tc
    Melody1778 Resident: bye for now
Mickorod Renard: I kept it up, good job as I had my son on the back
Agatha Macbeth: Bye Naz, have fun
    Mickorod Renard: bye naz
mrsnazzy844 Resident: I will thank you
Agatha Macbeth: I wonder if Mira will drop by too? :p
Mickorod Renard: patch it,,ok,,you can buy a sealant that inflates and puts goo in at the same time
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Mickorod Renard: or,,,u can have pugs and a glue
    Mickorod Renard: plugs
Mickorod Renard: they used to call it something once
    Mickorod Renard: vulcanising
Alfred Kelberry: mick, so with race tires it goes poof right away?
Mickorod Renard: u can put them in from the outside, cut off the surpluss
    Mickorod Renard: yes alf
Alfred Kelberry: how hard it is to keep the bike steady when it happens?
Mickorod Renard: no way to take a corner
Mickorod Renard: and its varyingly dificuly
Mickorod Renard: I have ridden 20k two up on a flat, best go faster
      --BELL--1430
Alfred Kelberry: 20k on a flat tire?
Alfred Kelberry: you mean road tire?
Mickorod Renard: sorry, distance yes kms
    Agatha Macbeth: Eek
Mickorod Renard: 2 yr old asking for a drink
    Mickorod Renard: sorry
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Alfred Kelberry: but they can't speak
Mickorod Renard: yes, road tyre,,,race tyre will be stop immeadiatly
Mickorod Renard: this one can :))
Agatha Macbeth: At 2 bthey do
    Agatha Macbeth: -b
Alfred Kelberry: mick, how much do road and race tires cost? a big difference?
    Mickorod Renard: she's more 2.5
Agatha Macbeth: My eldest gabbled like a parrot at that age
Alfred Kelberry: aga, if they do, it's more like their own invented language, which only parents understand :)
Mickorod Renard: well, at low end both would be same, a rear around £120/£150
Agatha Macbeth: Well lucky parents eh? :)
Mickorod Renard: but top teams must have expensive race tyres
Mickorod Renard: they only last 3000 miles
    Mickorod Renard: if ur lucky
Alfred Kelberry: your low end sounds expensive for me :)
Mickorod Renard: well, I usually get a deal and get rear and front for about £200
Mickorod Renard: and u get twice as many miles from a front
Mickorod Renard: ok folks, I have to go now
    Mickorod Renard: family home
Agatha Macbeth: On yer bike! :p
    Mickorod Renard: minus wife
    Agatha Macbeth: Love to Morg
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Mickorod Renard: I will tell her soon, when she phones
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
Alfred Kelberry: aga, they're accustomed to it. it's fun visiting parents with young kids and how they expect you to understand what they're saying. and they frown when i ask what did he say :)
    Mickorod Renard: ty,,take care
Alfred Kelberry: you be good, mick biker
Alfred Kelberry: regards to your charming wife :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
    Mickorod Renard: :))
    Agatha Macbeth waves
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder where Wol got to tonight?
    Alfred Kelberry: wor
    Alfred Kelberry: k
    Agatha Macbeth: +k no doubt
    Alfred Kelberry: raft
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep

    Agatha Macbeth: I remember them
    Agatha Macbeth: Up the autobahn
Alfred Kelberry: either of the two
Alfred Kelberry: hmm, i don't remember how woly got into pab
Agatha Macbeth: Fael brought her not long after it started
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, sweet
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: A lovely pair :)
Alfred Kelberry: fael probably was recruited by pema
Agatha Macbeth: I honestly don't remember, but it's in the chronicles I think
    Agatha Macbeth: Adams interviewed her
Alfred Kelberry: ah, is it the standard question for each interviewee?
Agatha Macbeth: I believe it's one of them yes
    Alfred Kelberry: cool
Alfred Kelberry: i should check it out
Agatha Macbeth: Yep, they are really good
Agatha Macbeth: All about PaB and guardianism
Agatha Macbeth: Sadly, now Adams is busy in RL looks like it will take a backseat
Alfred Kelberry: yes, like many things at pab
    Agatha Macbeth: Mmm
Agatha Macbeth: Still, this *is* the quietest time of year for most people
    Agatha Macbeth: Lots on holiday
Alfred Kelberry: yet so many people are busy to take on pab business :)
Agatha Macbeth: So it goes it seems...
    Alfred Kelberry: well

      --BELL--1445
Alfred Kelberry: thank you, kind sexy lady
    Agatha Macbeth: Byee, sleep well
Alfred Kelberry: let your boots shine forever

    Alfred Kelberry: polka dot today
Agatha Macbeth: Yep, I'm dotty :p
    Alfred Kelberry: neat
