eliza posted this session from the autolistener database. It really amazes me how woven into one another's lives we become, crossing in and out at various times and leaving image traces ("Eden in bed on laptop", "Stevenaia woken by cats"). Ghostly in some ways, also carry-along-able.

[01:03] ikumiasahi Resident: Good morning Wol :)
    [01:04] Wol Euler: good morning!
    [01:04] Wol Euler: you're becoming quite a regular :)
[01:05] ikumiasahi Resident: Seemingly so :)
    [01:05] Wol Euler smiles.

[01:05] ikumiasahi Resident: Hello Eliza :)
[01:05] Wol Euler: good too-early-to-be-morning, eliza
[01:06] Eliza Madrigal: Hi Asahi and Wol :) yes..yes...
    [01:06] Eliza Madrigal: :)
    [01:07] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:07] Wol Euler: always nice to see you, of course, at any time
[01:08] Eliza Madrigal: :) you too Wol.. nice to come to these sessions actually
    [01:08] Wol Euler: they're so peaceful :) so un-crowded
    [01:10] Eliza Madrigal: :)

[01:11] Wol Euler: what got you up today, eliza? if you don't mind saying
[01:11] ikumiasahi Resident: Morning Aggers :)
[01:11] Eliza Madrigal: not going to sleep
    [01:11] Agatha Macbeth: Good moaning
[01:11] Eliza Madrigal: Hi Aggers :)
[01:11] Wol Euler: oh wow :(
    [01:11] ikumiasahi Resident moans happily.
    [01:11] Wol Euler: hello aggers
[01:11] Agatha Macbeth: Careful Asahi :p
    [01:11] Agatha Macbeth: Hi Hana

[01:12] ikumiasahi Resident: Hello Hana :)
    [01:12] Wol Euler: hello hana!
    [01:12] Hana Furlough: Hello all!
[01:12] Eliza Madrigal: Hi Hana :)
[01:13] Wol Euler: the gang's all here! heheheh
    [01:13] Hana Furlough: yay!
[01:13] Hana Furlough: nice to see so many faces
[01:13] Agatha Macbeth: All 5 of us
    [01:13] Wol Euler: yep
[01:13] Agatha Macbeth: The Furious 5

[01:13] Wol Euler: we could record a hit song, or capture a gang of criminals
    [01:13] Hana Furlough: yes!
    [01:13] Eliza Madrigal laughs
    [01:13] Hana Furlough: let's
[01:13] Agatha Macbeth: 5 go mad in Bieup
[01:14] Wol Euler: heheh, title is done.
[01:14] Wol Euler: (session log title)
    [01:14] ikumiasahi Resident grins
    [01:14] Agatha Macbeth: A pentumvirate?

[01:16] Agatha Macbeth: Is there a GM today?
[01:16] Wol Euler: I think so, because I missed the last one for the competition
[01:17] Eliza Madrigal: yes there is
[01:17] Wol Euler: but Eliza would know ;)
[01:17] Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I couldn't remember last week
    [01:17] ikumiasahi Resident: GM?
    [01:17] Agatha Macbeth: Ah thx
    [01:17] Wol Euler: guardians' meeting
    [01:17] Agatha Macbeth: Guardian meeting
[01:17] Eliza Madrigal hopes to be awake, but it will be some trick if I pull it off
    [01:17] Eliza Madrigal: :)
    [01:17] Wol Euler nods sadly
[01:17] Agatha Macbeth: I'll be there, so don't worry
[01:17] Eliza Madrigal: thank you so much Aggers
    [01:17] Agatha Macbeth: YW dear
[01:18] Eliza Madrigal: I like the meetings though, so still hope to attend
[01:18] Agatha Macbeth: Well we would prefer it if you did of course

    [01:18] Wol Euler yelps.
    [01:18] Agatha Macbeth: hehe
    [01:18] Hana Furlough: haha!
    [01:18] Agatha Macbeth: Hoho
    [01:19] Agatha Macbeth: Huhu
    [01:19] Wol Euler: hihi
    [01:19] Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
[01:19] Wol Euler: I think we covered all the bases on that one
    [01:19] Agatha Macbeth: Aye

[01:20] Wol Euler: are there still orphanages, I wonder?
[01:21] Agatha Macbeth: Enough for what?
[01:21] Wol Euler: they used to be a feature of social (urban) life, a century ago
[01:21] Wol Euler: but I don't know that there is one in Stuttgart
[01:21] Agatha Macbeth: Not any more?
[01:21] Hana Furlough: as i understand it, they still exist in japan
[01:21] Agatha Macbeth: Not something I really think about tbh
    [01:21] Wol Euler chuckles.
[01:22] Agatha Macbeth: No being an orphan
    [01:22] Eliza Madrigal: :)

[01:22] Wol Euler: it doesn't exactly occupy my mind all week
[01:22] Wol Euler: but the heroes of this genre of kids' stories were often orphans
[01:22] Wol Euler: bands of them
[01:22] Wol Euler: so where are they today?
    [01:22] Wol Euler: their equivalents
[01:22] Wol Euler: or are there no equivalents? do they all get adopted or sent to foster homes by the social services?
[01:23] Agatha Macbeth: I've noticed in many video games it's unusual for the characters to have parents for some reason

[01:23] ikumiasahi Resident: Perhaps it's mostly religious institutions that take in orphans these days
[01:23] ikumiasahi Resident: at monasteries and the like
    [01:23] Agatha Macbeth: Could be
    [01:24] Wol Euler nods.
[01:24] Agatha Macbeth: I know there's a regular secondary school not far from me that started out as an orphanage
[01:25] Wol Euler: the larger cities are littered with ex-orphanages, which is what made me notice this and start thinking about it
[01:25] Wol Euler: there's one right downtown which is now a museum/gallery/cafe
[01:25] Agatha Macbeth: A bit like the one behind you :p
[01:25] ikumiasahi Resident: perhaps that's a sign that the governments are actually succeeding in solving the issue of orphans.

[01:26] Wol Euler: yes, asahi, but how? preventing parents from dying?
    [01:26] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:26] Agatha Macbeth: Well it's good to know they do something useful
[01:28] Wol Euler: perhaps it's in part because of the 3/4 century of peace here in Europe
[01:28] Wol Euler: wars are sadly good for the orphan business
[01:28] Agatha Macbeth: Yes, that would certainly help
[01:28] ikumiasahi Resident: if you want to call that help :)
[01:29] Agatha Macbeth: Then they complain about the population being too large
[01:31] Wol Euler: I've noticed that "they" usually mean that certain segments of the population are too large :/
[01:32] Wol Euler: "too many people not like us"
    [01:32] Agatha Macbeth: Hm
[01:32] Agatha Macbeth: Like the Pharoah said to Moses
[01:32] Wol Euler: they seldom mean that *our* population is too large

    [01:32] Wol Euler: anyway, let'
[01:33] Wol Euler: let's not get sidetracked from solving the issue of the disappearing orphans!
    [01:33] Wol Euler grins.
[01:33] Eliza Madrigal: strange twists, must say
[01:33] Wol Euler: just the shape of my mind :)
[01:33] Eliza Madrigal: for 5 bandits especially
[01:33] Agatha Macbeth: Guess it depends in what manner they disappear
    [01:33] Eliza Madrigal smiles

    [01:38] Agatha Macbeth: Peaceful sunday
    [01:38] Wol Euler nods.
[01:38] Wol Euler: Qt is due around now
    [01:38] Agatha Macbeth: Ah yes
    [01:38] Wol Euler smiles.
    [01:38] Eliza Madrigal: :)
[01:39] Wol Euler: we are in all worlds such creatures of habit
[01:39] Agatha Macbeth: Seems that way
[01:39] Eliza Madrigal: have our favorite wells

[01:40] Agatha Macbeth: Where did the idea of having 4 sessions a day come from originally?
[01:40] Wol Euler: our favourite rough-barked tree to rub against
[01:40] Wol Euler looks at Eliza. I'm not sure, do you know?
[01:40] Wol Euler: I think it was just a way to deal with the roundness of the RL world, and its timezones
[01:40] Eliza Madrigal: well it began with two, I think, then had to adjust when Pema went to japan
    [01:40] Agatha Macbeth: Aha
[01:41] Eliza Madrigal: and so pema liking patterns... and there being guardians by then (not sure if named)
[01:41] Eliza Madrigal: it made sense
    [01:41] Agatha Macbeth nods
    [01:41] Wol Euler nods.
[01:41] Eliza Madrigal: and it really is something that sticks with one... 4 sessions a day..
[01:42] Wol Euler: easier to remember than three would have been, with three there would be no repetition of the hours
    [01:42] Eliza Madrigal nods

[01:42] Eliza Madrigal: but we do have many open sessions now
[01:42] Agatha Macbeth: Insomniacs notwithstanding ;-)
[01:43] Agatha Macbeth: Wouldn't be surprised to see Korel either
    [01:43] Wol Euler: apropos :)
    [01:43] Agatha Macbeth: Bless you
[01:44] Wol Euler: though she's not been so bad lately, her insomnia seems worse in winger
    [01:44] Wol Euler: *winter
[01:44] Eliza Madrigal: stevenaia too... shows up at 1ams occasionally
    [01:44] Agatha Macbeth: Winger insomnia
    [01:44] Wol Euler: yep
[01:44] Wol Euler: complaining that the cats got him up :)
[01:44] Agatha Macbeth: I remember Deorah Winger out of Dallas
[01:44] ikumiasahi Resident smiles 'I wonder if everyone with cats is like that.'
[01:46] Agatha Macbeth: Yay for pussy ^.^
[01:46] Wol Euler raises an eyebrow.
    [01:48] Wol Euler smiles.

[01:49] Agatha Macbeth: Anyone know how Sharon is?
    [01:49] Wol Euler: SSL?
    [01:49] Agatha Macbeth: Yep
[01:49] Wol Euler: haven't seen or heard from her in ages
    [01:49] Agatha Macbeth sighs
[01:49] Agatha Macbeth: I do hope she's alright
[01:49] Wol Euler: she hasn't been on since May 20
    [01:50] Agatha Macbeth: Hm
[01:50] ikumiasahi Resident: the timing is just right for a summer holiday though.
[01:50] Hana Furlough: or maybe she is busy at work?
    [01:50] Agatha Macbeth: Yes, true
    [01:51] Wol Euler nods.
[01:53] Eliza Madrigal: and with family... know some had moved closer to her, etc
    [01:53] Agatha Macbeth: Oh good
[01:53] Agatha Macbeth: Hopefully so then
[01:53] Hana Furlough: ahh yes, families can keep one busy
    [01:53] Eliza Madrigal: :)

[01:54] Eliza Madrigal: when people disappear my first instinct is to think that some happiness carried them away for a while, somenew emphasis or project
[01:54] Eliza Madrigal: sure it is more complicated than that
    [01:54] Eliza Madrigal: :) but
[01:54] Agatha Macbeth: You're more of an optimist than me Liz
[01:54] Hana Furlough: that is a good way to think of it
[01:54] Agatha Macbeth: I always think the worst
    [01:54] Wol Euler smiles.
    [01:54] Eliza Madrigal: :)
[01:55] Wol Euler: I always hope that is the case, yes.
[01:55] Eliza Madrigal: well I think that, and also with an awareness that it may be overlay and projection
[01:55] Agatha Macbeth: Hope springs eternal
[01:55] Eliza Madrigal: would be nice for some/all to check in though
    [01:56] Agatha Macbeth: Yes
[01:56] Agatha Macbeth: So many old riends missed
[01:56] Agatha Macbeth: and friends too
    [01:58] Wol Euler nods.
[01:58] Eliza Madrigal: :) thank you present friends
    [01:58] Wol Euler: awwww <3
    [01:58] Agatha Macbeth: ♥
[01:58] Hana Furlough: : ) thank you, too
    [01:58] Wol Euler: group hug!
[01:58] Eliza Madrigal: :)) group hug
    [01:58] Hana Furlough: ha!
    [01:58] Agatha Macbeth gasps
    [01:58] ikumiasahi Resident smiles.

[01:59] Eliza Madrigal: would like to find that ring that Mira has for hugs
[01:59] Wol Euler: somebody really needs to make a group hug anim
[01:59] Eliza Madrigal: it is, just that
[01:59] Agatha Macbeth: A hug HUD?
[01:59] Eliza Madrigal: it gets a little glitchy but that's fun like a game
    [01:59] Eliza Madrigal: :)
    [01:59] Wol Euler: oh wow
[01:59] Agatha Macbeth: Sun's ones are nice
[01:59] Wol Euler: what a pity Mira isn't here to tell us about it :(
    [01:59] Agatha Macbeth: She's on
    [01:59] Agatha Macbeth: IM her
    [02:00] Eliza Madrigal: (asking)
    [02:00] Agatha Macbeth: :)
[02:01] Wol Euler: oh mira, I thought you meant Mila = Bosy
    [02:01] Agatha Macbeth grins
[02:01] Eliza Madrigal: [02:01] Miralee Munro: Darcon's group hug was made by Briggi Bard
    [02:02] Wol Euler cheers!
[02:02] Wol Euler: tahkn you, eliza
[02:02] Agatha Macbeth: Not Bardot then
    [02:02] Agatha Macbeth: Thx Liz
[02:02] Eliza Madrigal: will have to follow up with that... but for now try to sleep
[02:02] Wol Euler: her cousin, obviuosly :)
    [02:02] Agatha Macbeth: Yes do
    [02:02] Eliza Madrigal: hah..yeah

[02:02] Wol Euler: good luck! I wish you lots of refreshing sleep, and only sweet dreams
[02:02] Agatha Macbeth: If we can't send you to sleep nothing can
    [02:03] Eliza Madrigal: :)
[02:03] Eliza Madrigal: quite a compliment really
    [02:03] Agatha Macbeth grins
[02:03] ikumiasahi Resident: Good night Eliza :)
[02:03] Hana Furlough: good night, eliza!
    [02:03] Wol Euler: heheheh
    [02:03] Eliza Madrigal: Night :)
    [02:03] Agatha Macbeth: Dream well
    [02:03] Wol Euler: goodnight ♥

[02:04] Agatha Macbeth: Wonder if she has a laptop under her pillow?
[02:04] Wol Euler: I hope not
    [02:04] Agatha Macbeth: Hm
[02:05] Agatha Macbeth: I know Eden used to come sessions lying in bed sometimes
    [02:05] Wol Euler: heheheh
    [02:05] Agatha Macbeth: Bless her
[02:06] Agatha Macbeth: Think I'll go and check that LM you gave me Wollie
[02:06] Wol Euler: have fun :)
[02:06] Wol Euler: I hope it's still there
[02:06] Agatha Macbeth: Bye for now
    [02:06] Hana Furlough: bye, ag!
[02:06] ikumiasahi Resident: have fun Aggers :)

[02:09] Hana Furlough: well, i should go make dinner

[02:10] Wol Euler: I should go and have breakfast, actually. I slept right up to the bell this morning
    [02:10] ikumiasahi Resident smiles.
[02:11] Wol Euler: enjoy the day, asahi
[02:11] ikumiasahi Resident: You too, Wol :)
