I Riddle was guardian today and have added these comments.

I was a little late today. Seems Microsoft had rebooted my computer to a not quite ready for primetime state.  Another reboot made me late to an important date.  Where Vraja and Fael were already talking.

vraja Rexen: ive been to several meetings before
    Fael Illyar: Hi Riddle :)
    vraja Rexen: see...they are coming
    vraja Rexen: :-)
    Riddle Sideways: good morning campers
    vraja Rexen: hi riddle
Fael Illyar: Yes, at least riddle is :)
    Fael Illyar: he's today's Guardian.
I suppect Fael had just said how many people usually show up a little late.
vraja Rexen: i didnt actually logged in for the meeting
    Riddle Sideways: hi vraja
vraja Rexen: i ahve no ideeea about this clock
    Fael Illyar smiles.
vraja Rexen: in romania its 5
Fael Illyar: How are you finding Play as Being so far?
    vraja Rexen: nice...
    vraja Rexen: :-)
    Faenik loves wells!
vraja Rexen: its a pity i dont have more time for it
Fael Illyar: The meetings you mean?
    vraja Rexen: yes
Not only do we jump onto any mis-typed words. The subject and theme of these sessions usually come about in the first few exchanges.
Fael Illyar: surely you have time for 9-seconds :)
    vraja Rexen: hihi
    Riddle Sideways: sometimes :)
Riddle Sideways: there are those times that taking one deep breath takes toooo long
    Riddle Sideways: amid the choas
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Fael Illyar: well, there are ... just, how many of those times is it an illusion that it take too long?
    Riddle Sideways: almost every one!
    Fael Illyar: Yep :)
Riddle Sideways: it is the illusion that does us in
Fael Illyar: yes, we believe we don't have even a couple of seconds to spare so we rush and end up getting less done :)
    Riddle Sideways: exactly
Fael Illyar: if you really didn't have time to take 9 seconds, you wouldn't have time to think about there being no time for it :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, strange how that works
Yes, Riddle I have heard you say many times, that you don't have time to think.
We think and think about how we can't, don't, won't, haven't and continue to not have time to even think.
    What a thought process.

vraja Rexen: we always seem to rush towards something
Riddle Sideways: we have time to think about not having the time to think about time
Riddle Sideways: but intelliglogically (sp) we know that it is wrong
Riddle Sideways: and can do (almost) nothing about it
Fael Illyar: Yes, intelliglogical part of us is trained to work outiside our beliefs because ... well, it wouldn't quite work to believe the working stages.
Fael Illyar: the trick is to move the results into beliefs (and realize that they can be temporary too)
There are the sentences to take away from this session.

I will stop you here, so you can go back and re-read them.

At the time, I did not read the entire meaning. So, on I go with an example about only a third of what was said.

Riddle Sideways: ha, and the real/hard practice is the to reality move
Riddle Sideways: I can do it in practice
Riddle Sideways: 50 people in a 10 person space
    Faenik loves wells!
Riddle Sideways: we all go as fastas me can
    Riddle Sideways: bodies flying everywhere
    Riddle Sideways: time slows down
Riddle Sideways: we are aware of all
    Riddle Sideways: nobody gets hurt
    Riddle Sideways: we all learn
Fael Illyar: you're kind of losing me here :)
Riddle Sideways: 20 min later outside the dojo
    Riddle Sideways: choas
Fael Illyar: ah, martial arts training?
    Riddle Sideways: sorry, yes
Riddle Sideways: we train, yet hard to put into RL
BTW - gentle reader, please to understand that at an early age I realized that humans were not going to "get" what I was saying.

I had the choice to learn, practice and emply proper grammar, sentence structure, short concise meaning giving phrases.  To be most eliquent (and spell correctly) and concise.  To put great thought, crafting and delivery into a few precise words.

I chose the easy/lazy way of speakin da way dat fits me best.  It will remain to be an exercise for the reader, listener or student to stay up with me.

    My nameis "Riddle" !

Fael Illyar: the skill that matters is learning how to change your beliefs at will.
Fael Illyar: but the difficult part is to limit it enough that you're not too hasty with it
Riddle Sideways: how we can change our beliefs like changing our shoes
Riddle Sideways: but to not belittle the ease of change
Riddle Sideways: to gain from the change
Fael Illyar: it's easy to make mistakes changing them, so we all learn from an early age to avoid overdoing it.
Fael Illyar: but, naturally, overshoot with that too.
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: the automattic feedback loops
Riddle Sideways: that tell us we have under or over done it
Riddle Sideways: to learn better for next time
Fael Illyar: yes, we also learn to control our learning.
Fael Illyar: the slower you learn, the more stable you are.
    Faenik: maybe
Fael Illyar: depends a bit on your situation though, if you're in unstable phaze when you suddenly slow down your learning, that doesn't magically make you stable :)
    Faenik: why not?
Fael Illyar: it seems to me that most old people gradually slow down their learning.
    Fael Illyar: for the stability
    Riddle Sideways: generally yes
    Faenik: could be
Not sure why I change tact here...

The dialog was going along as with one mind.

Something, had become familar/repeatative about these sessions.

Riddle Sideways: 2 things go on in these meetings that I have yet to comment on
    Fael Illyar: Yes?
Riddle Sideways: 1. the fast moving changing threads
Riddle Sideways: swooping through untold vistas
Riddle Sideways: I really love that
Riddle Sideways: new avenues of thoughts
    Riddle Sideways: intertwined complexicity
Riddle Sideways: 2. the over-simplification of variables
    Riddle Sideways: then mingling multiples
    Riddle Sideways: [not said right]
Riddle Sideways: we often (as science does) melt complex variables down to simpler terms
    Riddle Sideways: good and bad
Riddle Sideways: we have half of a great conversation about bad and good
    Faenik: ah :)
Fael Illyar: indepth discussion would a) do away with your point one b) require that those who are talking actually have indepth knowledge.
Fael, next time we shall go much deeper into the many facets of the above line.
For today, we do not pursue that line.

Riddle Sideways: then all the semi-related variables come in
Fael Illyar: but if you're referring ot my generalization above...
Riddle Sideways: no no was thinking about previous meetings
Fael Illyar: it's meant to take a group of people, and then clarify which people from that group I intend to say things about.
    Riddle Sideways: ah
The nodded off Vraja comes back.
    vraja Rexen: sorry guys
    vraja Rexen: i was out
    Faenik: ah :)
vraja Rexen: a friend got out a clip
vraja Rexen: and i was dieing to see it
vraja Rexen: i played in it
Fael Illyar: It's ok, RL does need to come first :)
    vraja Rexen: :-))
Riddle Sideways: and play is ...
vraja Rexen: what did i miss?
Fael Illyar: there's the backlog readily browsable :)
Fael Illyar: but, yes, over-simplification of variables does happen. I think most subjects here are such that everyone really does need to work the variables out themselves before it can be understood.
Fael Illyar: in that, including all the variables in the conversation would simply make it impossible to understand.
Fael Illyar: for at least some of the people here
Riddle Sideways: I can not type fast enough for all variables to be entered
Fael Illyar: haha, me neither :)
Riddle Sideways: and most want to prove their point by using only one variable value pair
Riddle Sideways: live seldom happens in isolatted single values
    Fael Illyar: not quite, nope.
Fael Illyar: one on one conversations you can take into account a lot of the variables and tailor what you say but ...
Riddle Sideways: amidst proving that some point is valid, we use an unrelated statement
Riddle Sideways: yes, I know enough about Fael to pick more proper terms
Riddle Sideways: with 6 here, we spend the time going over vocabulary
Fael Illyar: Yes, a lot of time.
Fael Illyar: yet, it's time that's necessary.
Fael Illyar: helps all of us appreciate that we understand words very differently
Fael Illyar: which eventually reduces the need to argue about vocabulary
    Faenik: why not?
We live in between the science of reductionism and wholistic complexcity.
As if not enough to have said that...
I feel we might explore a half-way (more then SL, but less then human) example that might give illumination.

Riddle Sideways: it has been 6-9 months and I barely know how Faenik understands
    Faenik: maybe
Fael Illyar: Perhaps he doesn't ;)
    Faenik: indeed?
Riddle Sideways: it is that I do not know that
Riddle Sideways: it is that there is a part of PaB dialogs that I analyze Faeniks chat
    Fael Illyar: you do?
    Faenik: why not?
Fael Illyar: do you want to see the LSL source?
Riddle Sideways: that may/maynot be to the point
Fael Illyar: well, perhaps not :)
Riddle Sideways: (I am a programmer) would seeing the source code really make understanding come
Riddle Sideways: seeing the simple may not make the magic go away
    Riddle Sideways: but, it might
    Fael Illyar: perhaps not understanding but maybe o.O;
Faenik: yet the added chat from others is not (almost) part of the source
Riddle Sideways: btw- yes, I would like the source
Fael Illyar: until recently, no-one else but the wearer could make him say things :)
Fael Illyar: and when I was wearing him, I didn't make him say the random lines at all manually.
Back to the use of example as extension
Riddle Sideways: We think of Faenik as simple
Riddle Sideways: and is and has added complex things to PaB
Riddle Sideways: how much more has Fael added
Riddle Sideways: the complex being Avastu
    Riddle Sideways: added soooo much
    Faenik: ah :)
Riddle Sideways: would seeing the Crusty source code help?
Fael Illyar: probably not, too much complexity :)
Fael Illyar: but for full understanding of Faenik, we'd need source code for SL's servers too

Here let all us programmer give thought...
How much is an API enough?
Would it really benefit to see the complete source?
Would you spent toooo much time studying the DNA and not see the person.
You have read so much source code that you can spot different authors, different periods in the development and different optimizations or sloppinesses.  Yet does understanding come?
Given, only the bare docs and API you could build pavilons on rolling wooded plains.  Yet do you feel you don't know something of the background.
Without complete understanding you go on to build, use and Be.
With complete knowledge you might never have time/energy to use it.

Choice which method you will.  For only one can you do.
Knowing that  path not taken might have ...

Fael Illyar: who knows what tricks they use to generate those random numbers
Riddle Sideways: please don't get me started on random number generators
    Fael Illyar smiles.
Fael Illyar: how do you know they use a generator :P
Riddle Sideways: I don't... I was moving the subject
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Fael Illyar: well, move it then :)
Riddle Sideways: my very first graphics board (1977) was used to plot random number results
Riddle Sideways: showed that non-random of random
Fael Illyar: are you familiar with this project called Global Consciousness Project?
Ok,everybody go look this project up.
    Riddle Sideways: not sure
Riddle Sideways: will look it up later
Riddle Sideways: sounds like something I know
    Faenik: indeed?
    Fael Illyar: could be :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, is related to afriends work
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, so many more topics to pursue and the time has run out
Riddle Sideways: I need to go and be and do
Fael Illyar: Ok, see you later Riddle :) It was nice talking with you.
Riddle Sideways: I need to push the pace so that I don't have time to think
Riddle Sideways: no time to breath
Riddle Sideways: not even 9-sec to myself
    Riddle Sideways: ha
    Fael Illyar: sure :)
Riddle Sideways: please have a very good day
    Fael Illyar: you too :)
    Riddle Sideways: /bows
