SwissNomad Ghost: with travel itself there is nothing wrong, but in timetraveling i see some negative sides... messing with past and future... and i don't know if i want to re-life the moment my ex dumped me... on the other hand i would not go in to the future to make sure she didn't. you know what i mean?

Caledonia Heron: the most fetching aspect of time is likely now time :)
SwissNomad Ghost: agree; live today, accept tomorrow as it will be, changing will be a hard thing to do
Crusty Goldshark: Well it aint so easy to move backward and forward through time and dimensions - first we have to know where and if they exist
Crusty Goldshark: not everyone is convinced time exists
SwissNomad Ghost: depends on your definition of time
Caledonia Heron: that is one of the things we have talked about repeatedly ... from the perspective of appreciating being some posit that there is no time
Adams Dubrovna: ...and trying to understand what it means if there is no time

  

Caledonia Heron: yes Adams, say for example if there is no time how do we explain all our explanations of what we did, do and will do ?
Caledonia Heron: or maybe skip the explaining and merely be
SwissNomad Ghost: time as in what appears on clocks? or... again: how do you see time itself, how do you messure it?
Adams Dubrovna: There is a part of us that is not affected by time
Caledonia Heron: time as a storyline
SwissNomad Ghost: storyline, that exists, if it didn't we would not be here, right?

Adams Dubrovna: yes
Caledonia Heron: perhaps not as we understand it at this moment :)

SwissNomad Ghost: it comes to the question i asked myself a lot of times... if you see for example the tree over there; who says it IS a tree??? who made the words?? in my language that thing is called a "boom"... although it is nice to be able to interact thru given words... maybe time is something we feel and is a dream indeed...
SwissNomad Ghost: what makes that you could live life (or is it life live?) to it's fullest cause you would not have to face any consecuences for your actions... at least; that is a dream in my opinion
Adams Dubrovna: there are consequences for our actions though as it affects other beings
SwissNomad Ghost: but does that happen with your dreams as well?
Caledonia Heron: there are a lot of concepts there ... let me start back a few statements ....
Caledonia Heron: as regards labeling trees trees or this this, we can agree that for many things we share a vocabulary
Caledonia Heron: in this discussion group we meet to compare what we have fund about "being" to establish and benchmark a kind of vocabulary

  

Adams Dubrovna: and we do have a real body, a physical presence on this earth
Adams Dubrovna: We can question what it is. It is made up of recycled atoms, etc
Adams Dubrovna: and there is a part of us affected by the time line, so to speak
Adams Dubrovna: that is our story
Adams Dubrovna: there is a part of us that can transcend that story, that is timeless

Adams Dubrovna: I had a dream last night that was triggered by Mxine's dream
Caledonia Heron: really?
Adams Dubrovna: yes. It involved a choice
Adams Dubrovna: I was going for a walk in the woods, I think with Maxine which is what made me know it was related
Adams Dubrovna: For some reason I had to start my computer first
Caledonia Heron: hmmm
Adams Dubrovna: There were two softwares, one very complex, and one very simple
Adams Dubrovna: I tried to run the first, which was PaB software but my computer wouldn't run it. It had just gotten to 3%
Adams Dubrovna: My first thought on waking was that PaB was too complex for me
Caledonia Heron: nah
Adams Dubrovna: But then the connection with maxine and the thought that it didn;t make sense made me turn it around
Adams Dubrovna: My computer is faulty
Adams Dubrovna: It made me realize that my former self is still dominant from working on my project
Adams Dubrovna: I had channeled all this energy into finishing and now I am in a "not-ready" state
Adams Dubrovna: ah Corvi, welcome back

Adams Dubrovna: The connection with maxine, of course, is that there is something preventing me from seeing clearly
Adams Dubrovna: It just won;t work the way it is

Adams Dubrovna: It was triggered by Maxine's dream she recounted at her lecture and told us again yesterday
Adams Dubrovna: While I was working on my big project, I noticed some paterns re-emrging, like anger that I could not shake
Adams Dubrovna: I realized that I had neeeded memory to know how to implement the project which I had not used in a year

Adams Dubrovna: That I had called upon a former self for this memory
Adams Dubrovna: and this self-was re-emerging
Adams Dubrovna: Most of the fall I was able to keep it at bay
Adams Dubrovna: until the end when some new huirdles re-emerged
Adams Dubrovna: emerged not re-emerged
Adams Dubrovna: I bulled my way through the impediments but it was at a cost
Adams Dubrovna: I felt all this negative energy building up in me
Adams Dubrovna: Now I am done and this is subsiding
Adams Dubrovna: The dream was a message about what i ave to do now I think
Caledonia Heron: so yesterday's discussion triggered the dream which was beneficial, did I get it right?
Adams Dubrovna: yes, I think so. At minumum it was the key to understanding the message of my dream
Caledonia Heron: a very practical result :)
Adams Dubrovna: and my mind made it clear that the dreams were connected
Adams Dubrovna: yes Cal
Adams Dubrovna was hoping Maxine would be here today :)
Caledonia Heron: yes, would have been timely :)
Adams Dubrovna: Cal, of course the multiple selves make the software more complex :)
